Average is the best word to describe this novel. It's not bad, it's not great, it's kinda enjoyable but with no immersion whatsoever. Characters are mostly flat, with some interesting traits sprinkled sparingly. If you're looking to kill time then do read it. However, it's not deserving of rank 1 imho and is certainly not a masterpiece. Might you be looking for a similar plot minus the juvenile vampire fanfic? Then read [Super God Gene] (a.k.a [Super Gene]), I find the story better in every way.

What do you mean average? Unlike most novel, this novel is beautifully written and the mc doesn't become op immediately but at a perfect pace. Also there is always something different going on, not like super genes, just hunting monsters and gaining new skills, over and over again. And in super genes the mc never keeps his old ability which is annoying. In vampire system, the mc not only keeps his old skills but instead he upgrades it. I used to like super genes but the author milks the power system too much. The mc goes there, he gets power, goes home he gets power, looks somewhere, automatically gets power. Recently it is a shit show, I don't know why is he trying to become powerful? His family is back together, non of his friend is in any danger, and he has money to live the rest of his life. The author of this novel establishes the problem the mc is having, such as bullying, alien invasion, mystery and friends. I want to read a novel where it is not only about getting power. It needs to have an interesting story like this novel.

Gaining power is the entire premise of the "weak to strong" theme and it's beautifully done in SG (I've read 'till chapter 2666 and am currently on a break). I've read a lot of Wuxia and I can tell you have yet to see a shit show haha. Power creep is just a stigma of 'martial fantasy' in general, look at Dragon Ball. Now, talking about MVS... I won't go back on my review, I'll even add that the MC is dumb as a rock and it's a major plot hole that he doesn't just steal/buy/ask for blood bags that should be very common in a modern society, especially one that's in the middle of a great war, instead of going around assaulting people with no real consequences. It's also impossible that said society keeps any semblance of stability when students of a mandatory military academy are treated as they are, let alone the homogeneity required for a war effort against a more technologically advanced and long established spacefaring civilization. I could go on and on about what's wrong with MVS or you could just take my word for it. Either way, my review is fair.

In my opinion, this novel isn’t #1 rank material, but the author is a genius for bribing ppl with extra chapters for power stones. Writing quality is not the worse but still pretty bad, lots of misspelling and wrong words used. Once example, ‘integration’ is frequently used instead of ‘interrogation’. Although this happens quite a lot, the real problem is the way the story is written. The writing style is too shallow, it doesn’t give you the sense that you are immersed in the story world. There are not enough details to describe the character and environment. Up to now I still can’t picture what the characters and the school look like. One reviewer compared this with Lord of the Mysteries, which is just absurd. The writing style of LoM makes you feel like you are inside the MC’s head, immersed in his thoughts, emotions, and actions. This novel feels like you’re reading a summary of the MC’s daily activities, it is detached and doesn’t bring you up close and personal. Story development is progressing nicely so far. Contains your typical tropes and plot armor, but it’s not as absurdly done as other webnovels. Not much else to say since the novel is just beginning. Character design: It’s too early to tell but so far just 2 characters have hints of hidden depth, which could lead somewhere interesting. For now, the characters seem very shallow. The characters need to be fleshed out more, especially regarding their physical descriptions. Vague descriptions like ‘short brown hair and tall figure’ and ‘long blonde hair and perfect proportions’ doesn’t cut it. World background has great potential. Not much is revealed yet, but there are portals to other worlds and different species and factions, which leaves much to be discovered. Overall, I like the novel. There are only 108 chapters released so far, so there is room for improvement. I look forward to seeing how this novel progresses, it definitely has great potential.

Fairly mediocre read. Nothing that's offensively bad, though also nothing special, creative or particularly good. The writing quality is "so-so". For starters, there is plenty of simple spelling mistakes. I personally don't really mind, though still somewhat annoying. What's more annoying, is the occasional grammatical error. Also nothing too bad or too frequent. It's still there though. The thing that annoys me most about the writing quality, is the really simply and at times clumsily written sentences. A lot of simple word usage and simple sentences and the prose at times doesn't really flow too well. Update stability is fine. Story is fairly generic though interesting enough to keep most people reading. Characters in this novel are one of it's other downfalls. They are all fairly two-dimensional. There just isn't much too them. What you see is what you get. There is also plenty of weird logic leaps all over the place, which make the characters feels more like NPCs, than like actual characters. Big 'meh' for me. If this was done well, this novel would have been so much better. The world is okay. Some thing are pretty interesting, while others are straight ripped out of any generic anime. The world is also pretty childishly put together. The reasoning and motivations for the way things are the way they are, only make sense if you don't really think about them. Could overall be a decent read if you haven't read many novels like this and aren't bothered too much by the occasional writing issues and the childish portrayal of the world and characters. If you're looking for real quality and/or creative, look elsewhere.

Check out my other book as well Lunar:Secret Guardians ******************* "Grey, elemental affinity, zero" The Elder announced the result loudly On hearing this, it was like a bolt of lightning struck Grey, he stood there dumbfounded and just stared at the Elder. Shocked voices could be heard from the people and there was some which were also filled with scorn. Grey stood dazed amidst all the noises without any reactions. One word was constantly reverberating in his head, 'How?'. 'Why, why did this happen to me?' Grey asked himself over and over again **************** Unbeknownst to Grey, something greater lies in wait in his body.... *************** Check out the book, leave a review after reading, and also your powerstones. Hope you enjoy this, and Thanks for reading ^_^ P.S: When I started this book I had zero writing experience, so the first chapters aren't that great, although, my writing quality has improved over time. Also, English isn't my first language, so there are some instances where my choice of words are not good enough for what I'm trying to portray. A heads up, the book will be using a medieval setting. My world building is not the best, but it gets better over time, so bear with me on the early chapters! P.S: Cover art not mine I just edited it.
