The power system has potential and the setting is so popular that inspiration is everywhere. It could've been much better. I really tried reading this. I felt like dropping it a couple dozen times before I finally did (dropped at the end of maze arc). The characters are too shallow, they all act like those horny dumb fucks that are all stuck together in one house in telereality shows. The writing is too pretentious. It overexplains everything like the reader is incapable of extrapolation. Instead of sounding mysterious and smart, mc sounds like an edgy "nice guy" with 8th grader syndrome that just read a bad self-help book about game theory and now pretends he wrote it. All of MC's "plans" rely on his adversaries being completely incapable and dumb. Case in point: The first tier 1 clan he interacted with. What the fuck was that. The system's use is too inconsistent. Author made a system that can directly inject or extract knowledge from its users. He also gave much stronger beings the ability to share said knowledge with Earthlings, but we're supposed to believe that MCs ability to gather data as a single person is superior to all of that? I can only suspend disbelief so far... In context, his ability is utter shit. It would've been crazy good in a different world setting. Anyways, it could have been much better.
Unstoppable force meeting unmovable object is an easy solve. If both properties are true, they wouldn't interact meaningfully. The object is immovable, not impassable. Thus the force would traverse it and continue on its merry way.
Honestly, this is getting boring. MC keeps spouting a watered down version of game theory that wouldn't sound smart to anyone but kids. Where's the complexity, where's the action, where's all the stuff this novel gets praised for?
Anatomically modern humans have been around for over 300,000 years ago. Discoveries keep pushing back the date. A good move for this kind of fantasy would've been to exaggerate current findings by a factor of ten, instead of cutting 100k years off. Makes no sense.
Just like in real life, you can't make someone sign a contract if you don't even know of their existence...
He's a beast that became a paragon and turned humanoid. He's so strong that his domain can keep out at least the human paragons easily.
He'll probably just acquire all of their elements somehow. If Spirits are an element, why not the rest? Maybe he has the bloodline with the most potential to compensate for being born in the weakest race.
I mean. He was soulless, but still had a Soul Origin. Since he reincarnated and didn't just ressurect, it makes sense that his Soul Origin gave him a new soul. Maybe there's influence from the World Will or the creature that woke up his consciousness.
This is better than that shitty bankai tho. I was so disappointed when I first saw it years ago. Everybody has these cool abilities, and he just gets a little fast
