I liked this book right up until it became emotionally abusive. It was a sweet story with a hint of mystery until all of a sudden we have a new character who is mentally abusing the female lead and is just being allowed to because 'it's for her own good. Sorry; that's wrong. I've been there, done that see what it does to people's minds long term. I cant support this book. It's great till chapter 80. The english is broken, but not quite bad enough to have issued understanding. It really is cool but the characters, though most of them are great, a few are just no. Mental abuse and tough love are not synonymous. There is a huge difference and sereaphine is ridiculous.

LIKEAgain tough love and abuse are different things and she crosses the line. It was wrong. Plane and simple. She has no right to do what she does, none at all but she does it anyway and they let her. Fantasy book or real life, doesn't matter. It doesn't change the line between abuse and tough love.
Ok well stop reading it !!!!! It’s that simple . You have judged it before you have even got to the end of the book . Just maybe that tough love safes Raine life we will see . But you will not
I did. You commented on my post. So I responded. I left my review months ago. Thanks
Yep, and last I checked holding someone against their will is still a felony in most countries. Nice chat though.
Thank you for your thoughts on it. Im glad the story does get better. Between work and school and married life I have very little time to read. So I am very picky on what I read. That is a large part of why I said okay, no. I prefer to avoid abusive stories because when you have very little time to enjoy yourself, your less likely to take a chance on something that's bothering you.
