I Reincarnated In Vikings

I wrote this fanfic for fun so I am warning you if you are someone who wants chapters without mistakes and stuff just ignore the fanfic as whole but for those who have read this fanfic and liked it for that I am really thankful since this my first time writing.

I think this is a really good idea BUT this could have been wayy better And i understand that you wrote this simply for fun but if you ever decide to rewrite or such you can use these advices 1 - Too OP In nordic mythology (real one) Thor was able to lift jormungandr which was said to coil around earth and in the MCU version even the weakest thor is a city - nation level threat you could have simply sealed his powers and make him get used to his powers bit by bit thus unlocking it 2 - Too abrupt From the readers viewpoint Thor suddenly got chucked into this world And we have not been able to see him grow develop relationships and become more mature as years go by 3 - Relationships Ragnar was a man of many faults in the show he had his ups and downs like most humans but he wasn't to the point of being bitter even when his wife left him he was a viking and a leader i think that the characters are not much thought put into it not very fleshed out for example even if ragnar was a bitter man he would have to recognize the strength and benefit Thor brings and remember Ragnar only became the Jarl because THE Jarl was making trouble for him Aside from that it's decent not many grammar mistakes readable a bit eye catching definetly could be more polished 5/10

Im trying to put all the constructive criticism i can here so dont take it personally. First the begining was way to abrubt and by that i mean the part where he was put in the world because you made it to where he has a reputation and relation with people but we as reader arent really informed of although you did make some comments on it. Baically in my opinion the begining would have flowed better if you made him younger and did some timeskips instead of just throwing him there. my secons problem would be his powers like im fine with overpowered but you shouldve done it in a way that at least explaine it better. theres a lot more i could comment on but im not a author my self and i honestly would probably do worse all i can do is make a review on what bothers me. I really like the idea of this cause i love Vikings and am really big into all mythology.

Yeaaah, as you said, Mr. Author, you are not really all that good at writing. There is no context to your character, no real history of how he met Lagertha and it bothers me immensely, to be honest. You just threw him there. You have to build these things one by one, like blocks of lego, to make a good story. You did not do that. Instead, you are attempting to go straight to your desired result and it really breaks the immersion.

I'm not a professional reviewer or anything like that, just someone who decided to share their thoughts and opinions on what they read. Also, I haven't seen the show 'Vikings' on what this novel is based, so alot of the story and intrigue is new to me or rather, unknown to me. Writing Quality: 2/5 - I'll admit it, the quality of the writing is terrible. Not completely unreadable but still very bad. IF this novel was something the author was doing in a professional or money making way, then I'd suggest an editor. Since it's all just for fun for the author, then I'll only suggest Grammerly. Stability of Updates: 3/5 - I read this when there were already over 30 chapters available, so it's a bit unfair for me to give this a high rating. Though I did see comments that the author took a near 1-year break from writing. Story Development: 4/5 - Regardless of how terrible the writing quality may be, I'm hooked at how fun the story is. Again, I have not seen the show 'Vikings' so maybe I'm attributing much of the shows success to this novel, but oh well, I still like it. Character Design/World Background: 4/5 - Once again, I'm gonna take a leap and say these are so high cause of the show itself on which the novel is based. Though credit where it's due, I do enjoy the added authors take on the Gods and Seidr, I look forward to seeing where that goes. Along with the additional pantheons. Overall: MCU Thor in the Vikings show setting, there, that's the novel. Not the greatest novel around, surely not gonna win any awards that's for sure. It has many things that can be and should be corrected, but for what it has to offer, it's fun and interesting. You might wanna read it during a period of nothing else to do. Oh yeah, I suppose I should add that the author has plans to make this a harem of MC (He's Thor btw) + 3 female members.

The story of this ff just rubbed me the wrong way............or I don't have much knowledge becuz I never watched vikings series but just leaving my opinion..............

This is an extremely interesting fanfic, I saw it, I read it, and I was not disappointed with it. keep up the good work author, I will be watching

Quite relaxing reading. What is needed to relieve the brain from the hardships of everyday work. Plus, the Vikings series is really good and it's a pity that there is very little fanfiction about it. Thanks to the author.
