Hello all! I would like to thank you thus far for reading Rock, Paper, Scissors. This is the note from the author that Rock, Paper, Scissors will stop being updated on this platform for an unforeseen time. This is due to the terms and conditions of the KDP select program, which limits the novel to only being published on their site. 

That being said, the entirety of volume one will be available on Amazon in a kindle/ebook format. For kindle unlimited readers, it is completely free to read. Hey everyone, I hope you're having a wonderful day. The news I'm delivering may not come across as good for many, but I have to be up front and let everyone what's going on. 

The Anime Trope System web novel versions will remain on hiatus for a little longer due to a few factors.

--Sadly, I have to state the first one: the Amazon algorithm. You can actually find posts about it in many facebook groups such as Harem Lit, Gamelit Society, LitRPG Books. I may post about it in the Team Stone's facebook group. Basically, the highest review count I've got is 30 reviews for volume 1. Putting that into perspective: I've got about 1.1k followers (1.1million views) on Royal road, 7.1k on Web novel (with 3 million + views as it claims)...but like no Amazon reviews XD. --As a result, the algorithm is more likely to show and recommend other books (Including their search engines, googles, Kindle Unlimited, etc.) 

While none of it is anyone's problem but mine XD, this still hurts a lot financially. Realistically, remaining full time author may not possible, let's be real. November's looking grave.

 

-The first pause was me simply taking a short break. I pretty much wrote ATS for a year straight, this one was mandatory. [Even the ******* chapter releases have slowed to weekly (which will probably get back to normal soon, if not, today or tomorrow.]

Alright, boy-ohs and girlies, I've tried my best, I really have, but writing is way harder than I could have ever imagined. I'm at 216 chapter, 218 if you count *******, and about 90-95% of the story has been written without much consideration for outlining. A while ago, I started a wiki for the novel to try to keep track of everything and only now am I starting to understand the magnitude of the mistakes I've made writing up to this point.

Anyway, the announcement this time is to let you know that my writing pace hasn't simply slowed. I'm just taking the majority of my time chronicling everything that's happened and will happen and thinking up solutions to the problems that I've detected in the logic of the story; or plotholes. I'll probably take a while and until I'm confident in where the story will head, I'll continue putting out a depressingly low number of chapters every week.

It feels wrong to not say anything and even worse keeping my ******* collecting despite the obvious downgrade to my writing speed. So, despite my obvious bias in wanting to keep Patreons, I'd caution everyone supporting me to only continue doing so if you're fine with the current situation. Webnovel, Royalroad and my ******* all keep publishing dates on the chapters I release, so you can keep track of my writing speed by looking there; until you feel it's worth it, reconsider wasting your time or money during these unstable times. I probably should have made this announcement sooner, considering the downgrade to my writing speed has been around for a month's worth of time, so I apologize.

I'll be putting out chapters when I can, but the majority of my focus right now is revisiting already published chapters, touching them up and documenting whatever I can in the novel's wiki page. Anyone wondering where I'm at can check the wiki page and even contribute if they're bored enough. That is all for now~

UPDATE (December 29th, 2019)
Alright, I'm about to get really real and admit to being a really shitty author these last three to four months. Truth be told, I really did want to take time to update the wiki and figure out how to handle what I thought were this novel's biggest failings in plot holes. However, to do that and find details that might have only been mentioned in passing, I had to eventually turn to rereading entire chapters.

Guys... I'm being as sincere as I possibly can right now. I have no fucking clue how I've developed a following after rereading the first couple chapters. I understand that authors can grow a lot after a year, but it hasn't even been that long and I believe the first hundred chapters are Trash with a capital T. It's borderline unreadable (upon proofreading this tirade, this might be a mild exaggeration, but it is true to my thoughts nonetheless) and the fact that I have nearly 4,000 followers after combining the collections on Webnovel with those following on RoyalRoad is incomprehensible to me. There are still even 19 people supporting me on ******* when I haven't released squat in nearly two months!

I've tried to ignore this. I've tried to work on other books. Hell I've even messed around with fanfiction, hoping to one day wake up and see everyone gone. Like the book had never existed. But like I said, there are still 4,000 people waiting for releases. More joining by the day and people still supporting the novel with spirits stones. Even 19 who value two chapters being at least a dollar.

Every time I think I'm ready to move on, ready to completely shut down the novel to start a new one, I think about those people and realize, "I'm a fucking bitch. Just finish the fucking novel, idiot." The passing of time has only made the feeling worse, so I guess this is a message consigning myself to completing this book, by any means necessary. I won't be able to focus on another story otherwise, so this update is more for me than for my audience.

That being said, the reason I felt inclined to give up on the novel in the first place was because of how terrible I found my writing from a nearly a year ago. So, I want to stress that I'm not going chuck a bunch of shit together to finish the story. Rather, I'm going to go back and rewrite things as I continue to catalogue things on the wiki.

Last couple things I want to quickly mention:

- I haven't really used any of the money I've made on ******* so I want to commission a legit book cover. Ditch that shit I made with my lacking Photoshop Skills...

-More on the money thing, after I finish rewriting the novel — it'll mostly be editing details that make the book seem less like it was written by an amateur, so the story progression won't at all change — I plan on also hiring people to format Book 1 and eventually Book 2 into legit e-reader and paperback formats. I know, I know...

"Greedy author, have you no shame?" 

Honestly, I want to follow pirate aba's style of keeping everything free, and I will. I'm not going to enter a contract with Webnovel or paywall chapters through kindle. However, for the people who for whatever reason want to have a kindle or physical copy of this (current dumpster fire of a) novel, I want it to at least be possible. There's also the benefit of gaining new readers through Amazon this way which is always a plus. 

Like the G.O.A.T. pirate aba — check out her (I think it's a her) book The Wandering Inn — I'll keep all the chapters on Webnovel and Royalroad free. Though the ******* thing will still be in effect at least until I finish the series or whatever.

-Since I'm rewriting the novel for the most part, I'll make more announcements as I continue updating the novel; meaning adding on to the story (Chapter 219, 220, etc...)

Unless it becomes too annoying and people request against it, I'll be adding "Revised" to Chapters that have been, well... revised.

-I'm going to be having some polls on RoyalRoad on a couple important things as I start getting back into the grind of updating this novel.

Namely: Should I change the name of the novel? If so, to what? What would you guys like the book cover to look like? Should I change the name of the Books/Arcs?

The preface is a very difficult chapter, especially for those who are complete freshers. Those who have no introduction, what will they write about themselves, because if I had an identity, I would have also said, my name is Afzal Razvi… must have heard the name… sorry, must’ve read the name. Well, my introduction is that I am a fresher to the world of books, and believe me, because I am new, I have brought something new with me. I am not new when it comes to writing, I’ve written some daily soaps, crime shows and web series for Bollywood. I used to write books as well, but I never complete them. Now that I’ve got a little serious, I present myself to all of you. 

Born in Mumbai, I grew up there. I did a screen writing course from ZIMA (zee tv institute of media arts). I Completed my Higher Secondary from Mumbai Board. I was never a fan of school or studies but somehow, I managed to study and whatever I studied is helping me today. The reason behind my passion for novel writing is my father. He is no longer with me, in this world. Even he used to write something, but due to the fact that he didn’t get any reasonable income out of it, his books remained in a box, and then came a time, where some of his books were devoured by mice. There were a few pages left, which were engulfed by Mumbai’s 26th July. 

Well, through kindle and other online platforms, I am bringing my first book in front of you in an e-book and paperback format. I also do not have such a backing at the moment, that I can bring this book into the market from any major publication and then spend tons of money betting on it. Trusting you all- my readers, I am presenting you with this book, which has taken 4 months of hard work and persistence. This book wasn’t completed just by my hard work, but also because of a few people who tolerated me and supported me during this process. My mother, who has always prayed for me. My wife Yasmin who often motivates me to complete the book. The novel has a fast pace- just like some south Indian movie. But even If you like slow paced books, you will still like it. This is my first book and I am apologizing right at the beginning for any mistakes which I might’ve made. My history Teacher used to say, apologizing to someone doesn’t make you small. On the other hand, people outside were banging the door.
“You’re not supposed to climb the ladder of crime so quickly child….Stealing and muerder on the same day? You want a soap right? I’ll buy you many soaps.”
The inspector was luring the child. He was trying to make a deal to save his life because everything was in the hand of the child now. The inspector tried taking a step forward.
“Stop…Stop right there!”
The child yelled. The inspector was stunned. Everyone in the police station could now hear the child. Mhatre stuck his ear close to the door to find out what exactly were they talking.
“Okay…I wont move…See do one thing, keep the gun on that table… I promise I’ll let you go.”
“Why were you trying to remove my clothes?!”
Sabun questioned, in anger. He wanted to know what was going on in the inspector’s mind. 
“No, No reason at all. I was joking. Really. You took that joke seriously.”
“Tell me! Tell me!”
The child yelled. The police officer was now shivering in fear. Mhatre tried to listen to figure out what was happening inside.
“You..You are very beautiful. I wanted to see if you’d be the same without any clothes on.”
The child’s eye were moist. As soon as the inspector said that, the child pulled the trigger. A bullet was fired. Everyone outside now began to panic. The bullet just brushed past the inspector and pierced the wall of the room. Neeraj was now shit scared. He had a narrow escape, but he didn’t know for how long.
“You two feet motherfucker!”
“Me? Me? You’ll are motherfuckers!”
The child had made up his mind. There was a shine in his eyes. Neeraj tried to read his eyes but he was confused.
“What are you going to do? No! No! Mhatre save meee!”
Neeraj cried for help. But it was too late. The kid had fired the bullet

 Luca Fernandez, the boy who would grow up to become the tyrant known as the Black Seraph succeeded in completing the World Dungeon by reaching the Altar of the End. Though in doing so, he was mortally wounded. As a reward for his success, and as consequence for his actions as the Black Seraph, the spirit of the World Dungeon allowed Luca to receive the memories of his future self and given the task as punishment to save humanity. But something happened, something that allowed the displaced spirit of the deceased and lingering Black Seraph to travel back in time and supplant his younger self.

         Once back in the past, Seraph possessed the frail and crippled teenage body of his past self.  Seraph's actual power and body sealed away in the heart of the dungeon.  A power which he may never recover. In his weakened state, Seraph is forced to reconnect with the father he had lost in his original timeline during a monster attack the day the World Dungeon emerged from the Earth from within the place it had secured and hid itself. 

  By manipulating the man, Seraph was able to track down the World Dungeon before it emerged in order to secure for himself rewards and abilities reserved for the first entrants. With six other people, they entered the World Dungeon which had disguised itself as a Live-Action gaming attraction inside the mall's arcade.  Once inside the attraction, the players quickly learn that it was more than just a game.

  Seraph is initially separated from his father as a requirement for entering the World Dungeon. During this first phase he gains the Body of Mana passive ability, the Thousand Handed activated ability, and a racial change from Human to Fallen, a kind of lesser demon-kin. As part of the tutorial, Seraph is granted a mace when it is found he is too physically weak to use his weapon of preference, the spear.

  After being equipped by his dungeon guide, the second phase of the tutorial began. Seraph was transported and reunited with his father and the remaining players who have survived up to this point. The five of them were trapped in the auditorium of an abandoned school. Though Seraph tries for a time to maintain a subdued roll within the group, he quickly alienates himself from the rest of the players and is forced to partially reveal the truth of his reincarnation to garner their support to avoid annihilation at the hands of the monsters they are forced to fight in order to advance.  

 

  Upon defeating the monsters, one of the players betrays the group. Through his actions, the betrayer is allowed to proceed unhindered to the next phase. The rest of the group leaves the auditorium and attempts to explore the school. 

  Quickly Seraph recognizes signs of a world ending event from his timeline, believing the tutorial dungeon to be located somewhere in the future.  The group sought shelter in the designated safe area as they tried to plan their next move.  Though the abandoned school serves as a beginner's tutorial beginner, Seraph believes it also serves a double purpose to warn against the dark future that waits humanity should they lose the Genesis Game, and a warning against him.  

  By encouraging the others to rest, Seraph searches the designated safe area for signs and clues.  Another player attempts to steal from him as the others are sleeping, and Seraph is able to safely transport the man into the next phase away from him.  After the altercation, Seraph is able to discover and remove clues related to his identity and the true nature of the tutorial. 

  Eventually Seraph discovers a report written in secret by The 7th Seat of Carrion, Timothy Reverend, a officer in his guild who had gone missing. The report names the world ending event as Wormwood and provides some insight into the phenomena.  

         Shaken by the discovery, Seraph fell asleep, only to be woken up by his father and the remaining player who are deeply suspicious of him.  Upon Seraph choosing to leave the group behind, they react by attempting to physically restrain him and in the ensuing fight, his father is knocked unconscious, and the other player is killed.

Unwilling to leave his father in a vulnerable state, Seraph forcibly transported him to the next phase.   As the only participant remaining within the tutorial, he used the opportunity to freely focus on strengthening himself, and is able to discover the secret of the tutorial, The Dungeon Seed, a means to create another entrance to the World Dungeon and expand the control of the World Dungeon.

         While searching the abandoned school for the Dungeon Seed, Seraph encounters the Timothy Reverend, now a type of mutated undead, a cross between a Wright and a Darkness Caller as a result of having used his life to fuel the growth of the Dungeon Seed to evacuate the children in his care. Whether a result of his undeath or the decades spent entrapped, the monster in its madness attacked Seraph.

Seraph is unable to harm the Lord-Caliber monster, and without discovering any additional secrets about the Dungeon Seed is forced to exit the tutorial dungeon on a technicality by completing a quest.  Heavily injured, he was transported to the in-processing center for the Dungeon City of Hometown, the city of the Elves that exists on the first floor of the dungeon.

         At the completion of the tutorial, it was revealed that all those who had been killed by the dungeon did not suffer a permanent death and are revived.  All the players are critiqued for their performance and assigned a adventurer's grade by the leader of the Elves who operates the tutorial. 

For Seraph, his father, and the two players who did not need to respawn, they were given a choice.  A choice that each of them may be given legendary class and abilities granted to them, or they could allow every human that enters the dungeon to undergo the tutorial in preparation for the true dungeon. The only requirement is that the decision must be unanimous.

 Though some debate occurred, mostly disagreements followed, and one of the players refuses to opt out of receiving the legendary class and ability. For the sake of Humanity, Seraph is forced to kill the man and in doing so ensures that Humanity to ensure that Humanity can benefit from the tutorial and minimize early true deaths in the World Dungeon.

For Seraph, his foreknowledge is already becoming obsolete as the present is rapidly changing as the future takes an unfamiliar path.

A Kindle Fire is actually a really great tablet. I owned "one" quite a few years ago and for some odd reason it always seemed to break whenever it was nearing the end of it's warranty. The warranty on it was for a year and each time it broke, they just sent a new one with a renewed warranty. They also always included a new charger. 

The name of the Kindle actually got updated each time it was replaced to (Name)'s 2nd/3rd/4th/... Kindel Fire.

I had mine 9 years ago, but I'd still consider it a good option. In the span of ~3/4 years I think I ended up on a 5th Kindle.

When the flash of light was gone Cole and Leo saw something amazing. Chloe's scratch marks were gone and she was no longer bleeding. But at the same time something bad happened Crystal was passed out on the floor. Cole and Leo ran up to crystal. They tryed waking her up. Chloe woke up and said " What happened?" Kindle and Chloe was shocked to hear what happened. Kindle said " I don't know how to handle this but just let her rest she is probably very drained." Chloe Said " Thanks Kindle we will head back to our den Again thanks for the help."Then Chloe carried crystal back to the den and Cole,leo followed. When they were back at the den Chloe put crystal down to let her rest.Leo asked " mom is something wrong with crystal?" Chloe looked at Leo and said " No dear crystal is just drained from using all that energy to heal me now dear just lay down next to your sister and go to sleep." Leo and Cole layed next to crystal to keep her warm and cuddle up. Chloe was so scared because of the state Crystal was in. Out of no where Crystal began to glow and slowly lift up in the air. Chloe got up and tryed to grab Crystal but she got shocked. Chloe didn't know what to do in that moment. Chloe felt hopeless she was so concerned on what was going on with crystal.But when Chloe was watching Crystal float she noticed something off she couldn't believe it at all. Crystal was changing....

　　黄梦寒以前用过室友的kindle，在写论文的时候，需要查阅大量的文献，所以有一个长时间观看也不会伤眼的电子墨水屏的电子阅读设备，是很幸福的一件事情。
　　但是用kindle的时候，有一点快把黄梦寒烦死了，最后还是有用回了电脑。
　　黄梦寒收集到的有很多pdf人资料，放到kindle上面，需要几分钟才能同步过去，这还好。
　　但是在6英寸上面阅读pdf的体验实在是……一言难尽。
　　竖屏看，能把人的眼睛给瞅瞎，伤不伤眼不知道，肯定能锻炼视力，视力不好的都看不清楚那么小的文字，黄梦寒也是在那个时候才真正理解了一个成语的意思——蝇头小字。
　　那文字真的和苍蝇的脑袋似的，就那么一小点，几乎微不可查。
　　既然竖屏看有这个问题，那就横屏看吧。
　　横屏看文字倒是大了一些，但是有另一个问题也很烦人。
　　pdf的文档是一页一页的，横屏看的时候每屏显示的文字多余一页的三分之一，但是小于二分之一。
　　kindle上面的软件整的，一页需要点击三次，前两页还好，但是到了第三页，他最下面是当前页的最下面，最上面显示的文字不是第二页的最后，是第二页的中间的内容。
　　每次看到一页的最后一屏的时候，黄梦寒为了找到自己看到了哪里，都需要花费很长的时间去寻找，用户体验极差。
　　还不如我国的一个叫做多看的软件做的好，多看这个软件，他是粗粮公司开发的一个软件，可以在水果手机和安卓手机上面使用。
　　多看这个软件在手机上有连续观看的选项，开启之后就能在手机上面连续的看下一页，不会遇到kindle上面那种尴尬的问题，一页必须分三屏才可以。
　　另外他还可以，手动的拖动一点一点的向下滑，这在用了电子墨水屏幕的设备上是一种奢望，因为电子墨水屏的刷新率是一个很大的问题。
　　他上面还有裁减的功能，遇到影印版的pdf文献，甚至可以把边边角角裁掉只看最重要的一部分。
　　这样无形中就增大了屏幕的可使用的面积。
　　听说是有人把kindle越狱后能刷上这个系统。
　　但是毕竟不是原装的，刷上之后，设备死机的概率还有耗电率都明显的上升了。
　　显然第二智慧科技生产的这种叫做智慧电子阅读器的产品，考虑到了kindle上面的那种不合理的设计，根据这种新型屏幕的特点给出了两个解决方案。
　　和手机一样，第一就是可以连续翻页，第二就是可以手动一点点的滑动。
　　“没有数据线，如果我有一些资源，怎么传过来？”黄梦寒向店员询问。
　　“这个简单，你看到了首页的个人图书馆了吗？这里，对就是这里……”店员一边说一边给黄梦寒指出来在哪里进入个人图书馆。
　　“这里有两个，一个是云端的，一个是本地的。云端的图书馆顾名思义，这里面存放的书籍都是在大后端，而本地的就是从云端下载到本地的书籍。”
　　“至于怎么把书放到云端，有好几种方式可以进行，第一也可以利用想kindle那样类似的，用邮件推送的方式，把一个邮箱加入到信任邮箱列表，然后用这个邮箱向一个自定义的邮箱发带有附件的邮件就可以自动同步到云端，这样的速度是毫秒级别的，不想kindle那样，需要十多分钟。”
　　“第二种也是很常见的，就是公众号那样的，在深信上看到什么好的文章可以直接推送过来，不过我们做的更广泛一些，可以在深信上面也可以在球球上面，直接绑定了自己的账号，然后退送过去，当然了，时间也是毫秒级别的。”
　　“第三种，可以用球球账号，加一个固定的好友账号，然后把书籍或者其他附件直接发给他，发完之后，就可以在电子阅读器上的云端图书馆这里看到他的身影，只需要点击一下下载就能下载到本机。”
　　“第四种，如果你使用的是生物计算机，那么在里面的浏览器里面，通过简单的设置就能在右键菜单里面看到推送到电子阅读器的选项。”
　　“第五种，如果使用的是生物计算机，系统级别就支持推送到电子阅读器，如果你的这个账号注册过电子阅读器，右键点击电子阅读器可以识别的文件格式的文件时候，就会有一个选项是推送到电子阅读器上面，可以通过这样的方式来进行推送，当然了，如果你嫌这个菜单碍眼，可以通过简单的操作去掉的。”
　　“那这样的推送的方式还真是推陈出新了，没有想到第二智慧科技居然把一个简单的提送功能都玩出花来了。”黄梦寒对于这点还是给予了肯定。
　　“这些书城里面的书版权怎么说，如果购买的话怎么购买？”黄梦寒问了她关心的另一个问题。
　　“书的版权问题，你不用担心，这些全部是正版的，没有盗版，这些版权都是由我们的王路王总还有杨翰林杨总和很多家电子出版社共同讨论的结果。”
　　“购买的方式有两种，第一种就是单独购买，比如你就喜欢某一本书，那么你可以单独购买这个本书，电子书的价格比实体书的价格便宜很多，原因就是因为实体书需要印刷、装订、传输、放到实体店或者网点售卖，中间经过的环节太多了，每一个环节都是成本的增加。”
　　“第二种方式，也是现在有人正在尝试的模式，那就是包月或者包年的读书服务。这种方式非常简单，和现在很多的视频播放软件类似，通过冲会员的方式，可以观看付费的影片，这个服务就是那种意思，只要交钱，就能看一些付费的书籍。”
　　“第一种方式我懂，但是第二种方式我知道有一些弊端，比如kindle也有这个服务，他们的名字叫做 Kindle Unlimited。
　　但是上面有很多的书籍都没有加入到这个服务中，也就是我交钱了很多书籍仍然看不了，不知道你们对这个怎么看？”
