Zhou Yinglong specifically inspected the wounds of the injured and found that all of them had sustained gunshot wounds. One of them was even unfortunate enough to be hit by the fragments of a stray bullet.
However, the wounds below the layer of black medicine had already started to scab. It was as though the injuries were not that serious.
In order not to get stretchered off, the injured even jumped off their stretchers and moved about vigorously to show they were absolutely fine. It wasn't an act at all and they really were fine.

"Why?" Zhou Yinglong gave Zhang Xiaoman the side-eye. "Would you also like me to personally pour you some wine?"
Zhang Xiaoman thought for a moment. "Well, if you don't mind…"
Zhou Yinglong kicked Zhang Xiaoman in the ass. "Get lost and write the report for me!"
It was the usual practice to write a report after every battle. On one hand, it was to summarize all of the details of a battle. On the other hand, it was to list any mistakes and lessons learned in combat to prevent the same mistakes from happening again in the future.
But Zhang Xiaoman and this group of gruff men hated writing battle reports the most.
Since they had already won the battle, why should they still have to list their mistakes and lessons learned? All they had to do was win the battle!
These gruff men of the Razor Sharp Company were all nestled and gathered around Zhang Xiaoman in the tent that had just been put up.
At this moment, Zhang Xiaoman looked at Ren Xiaosu while holding a notebook and a pencil. "Ren Xiaosu, you…"
"I'm just a refugee, so I dunno how to write," Ren Xiaosu said.
"Oh." Zhang Xiaoman lowered his head dejectedly at first but immediately figured out that something was not right. How could the successor chosen by Commander Zhang be fucking illiterate? 'If you don't want to write the fucking report, just say it. Doesn't it prick your conscience to lie that blatantly?!'
Zhang Xiaoman chewed on the end of the pencil and tried to recall the details of the battle. "It feels like the enemy was defeated even though we did not put in much effort."
After thinking for a long time, Zhang Xiaoman still did not know how he should write the report. That was because their victory was mainly due to Ren Xiaosu. That was the truth.
"Ren Xiaosu, I think it's better for you to write the report. If you're really illiterate, you can just tell me and I will write it out for you." Zhang Xiaoman said, "More importantly, we don't even know how exactly you managed to turn the bandit lair at Mt. Dingyuan upside down. Also, what you did will earn you great honors. You'll get promoted right after submitting this report!"
Ren Xiaosu said, "You can just write that everyone fought bravely. Fighting the battle involved the entire company, so I can't take all the credit for it."
"I don't think that's right." Zhang Xiaoman said awkwardly, "We'll be really embarrassed that way. It's not like us to accept credit where it isn't due."
"There's nothing to be embarrassed about." Ren Xiaosu said, "Forget it, I'll write instead."
Then Ren Xiaosu grabbed Zhang Xiaoman's notebook and pencil from him and started making up details of the battle. He described his comrades as soldiers who had shown unsurpassed bravery and resourcefulness in combat.
He also wrote about how they broke through the defensive line and killed the enemies in an orderly manner. Zhang Xiaoman was dazed reading what he had written. "Was I that great?"
After he finished writing the report, Ren Xiaosu handed it to Zhang Xiaoman. "Take it to the battalion commander. We'll all share the credit."
As for Ren Xiaosu, he did not really have a sense of belonging to Fortress 178 yet. He just wanted to use the power of Fortress 178 to take revenge on the Zong Consortium. Therefore, whatever credit he might deserve was completely unimportant to him.
After his revenge, he would head to the Central Plains to search for Xiaoyu, Yan Liuyuan, and the others. He did not plan to become an official in Fortress 178. So he'd rather leave the credit for others.
By now, the entire Razor Sharp Company had acknowledged Ren Xiaosu, and he was no longer ostracized by the others. This group of men had even forgotten about the previous incident where Ren Xiaosu caused a misunderstanding and led them to pick a fight with Second Company.
However, Zhou Yinglong's intention was to find out about Ren Xiaosu's capabilities from the battle report. He knew it was mostly to the credit of Ren Xiaosu that they could take Mt. Dingyuan with almost no casualties. He also wanted to know what this person the commander had selected was like. However, Ren Xiaosu's name was hardly mentioned in the entire report!
Zhou Yinglong glanced at Zhang Xiaoman and said unhappily, "How dare you steal the accomplishments of your subordinate! D'you think I won't execute you?"
Feeling wronged, Zhang Xiaoman stammered, "But this report was written by Ren Xiaosu himself!"
Zhou Yinglong got lost in thought. How could a young man not be greedy for success? What kind of a successor had Commander Zhang chosen?
His group of old comrades would definitely ask him about Ren Xiaosu's performance as a soldier under his command. As the battalion commander, wouldn't it be such an embarrassment if he could not even answer that?
Zhou Yinglong suddenly asked Zhang Xiaoman, "Tell me, how did Ren Xiaosu fight this battle?"

Their days at the forward operating base were not as comfortable as expected. At 6.20 AM, Ren Xiaosu could already hear reveille blaring outside their tents.
Then soldiers gathered in their respective formations and began their morning exercises. Very quickly, cadences were being shouted from outside the forward operating base.
The soldiers had to run five kilometers in full kit before heading out to the battlefield. Only the Razor Sharp Company was the exception. That was because they had just finished a battle, so they had the privilege of skipping training to recover at the forward operating base.
But after reveille sounded, Jiao Xiaochen could not get back to sleep. He laid on his cot and said, "Something doesn't feel right if I don't do anything after reveille. Is there anyone else who can't sleep like me?"
In the military tent, there was a scattered response from everyone. "Wanna go for a jog?"
"You can't get back to sleep either?"
"It'll be a miracle if I can fall asleep now…."
"Come on, let's go for a run!"
With that, Ren Xiaosu saw everyone from 1st Platoon get up to put on their uniforms. As such, he got up as well. When he walked out of the tent, he realized that 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Platoons were also out of their tents. This included Han Minglei, a medic, and Li Xingcheng, a cook.
Zhang Xiaoman said with a chuckle, "Well done, gentlemen. Even though our Razor Sharp Company has gained victory, we can't get too uppity. We have to keep training!"
Jiao Xiaochen muttered, "You're the one who's most uppity right now…."
"Will you die if you don't speak?" Zhang Xiaoman stared at him.
But at this moment, Zhou Yinglong's orderly trotted over to them. "Captain Zhang Xiaoman, Battalion Commander Zhou is requesting your presence at the command post!"

"Well, with information from Macy, we can apprehend the culprit. That's what I will write in the report"
"Aren't you worried captain will scold you again?"
"Huh? You want me to write what? Making up something to make it more make sense? Sorry I can't"
"Yeah, you always like that. Don't say I'm not warning you thou"
When we arrive at the police station, I write the report on this bombing case according to the fact that we have been through today. Nothing is hidden just to make the report acceptable. And when I submit the report to the captain, just as Sam said, my captain after reading the report scolds me thoroughly.
"Seriously Rick, once twice I still can give you leeway. But this time is the third time you submit this report with this amnesiac paranormal girl who knows how to speak with spirit as a source of information. Do you think my superior will accept this?"
"But captain, the using of paranormal to solve criminal cases is not something uncommon. There are cases where police involving some paranormal to help their investigation"
"As I said, once twice is okay. But when we solve many cases with paranormal assistance, you know what the public will say? They will say the Police department is useless, they can't investigate properly, and if those paranormal failed to help to solve the case and dragging innocent people in that case, that will bring great damage for police department".
"I know sir, but what I've written in that report also really happen. We are the police that should uphold the law and justice, how can we uphold law and justice if we must write lies on our report?"
Captain Allan is massaging his forehead. I know he can't rebuke my words because what I'm said is true.
"Alright, I get it. But I must transfer you two from homicide section to public safety section to make you less contact with that paranormal girl. This is my final decision for your transfer, move your belonging to your new section"
"Right now sir? But we still have an unsolved case on that hotel Luxor"
"Yes, start today, this hour, this minute, this second. Your letter of transfer will be followed after that, you still in part of hotel Luxor investigation since no further development on that case"

We left captain office with a little-dejected feeling. As a policeman, I know that transfer is a common thing in the police force, but the homicide section is my favorite. It has a certain pleasure to be able to solve some cases which involving the life of others. But what can I do? We're quickly packing our things from our desk and move to public safety section. After meeting with the officer in charge of public safety section, Sergeant William, we get our new desk and our new assignment.
The assignment that we receive is looking for a girl that goes missing from an orphanage. The boy who walks with the girl before missing said that she was taken into a van by some people in their way back to the orphanage after school is over. There's no demand or ransom request from the people who kidnapping the girl which make this case becomes a deadlock. The license plate on the van is fake which make no further investigation can be done on this missing girl.

I know it's a part of my job, but writing reports is just the absolute worst. We have to write a report that will be read by someone, who will then need to write basically the same report again. Which begs the question, why do we need to write one in the first place, instead of just giving them discovered information? And "because it's our job so just shut up and do it" is not what I call an argument Lukas! We usually write a mini report at the end of every day, but those are consisted of a date and, if we made progress, what new information we gathered. At the end of a case, we connect the mini-reports in one Big Boss report, that we give Victoria. But I haven't even mentioned the worst part. No, no, no. It may actually be bearable if my partner didn't turn into a dictator. His personality somehow changes from a regular asshole to an insufferable control freak of a dickhead. It makes me miss the times when he is just being an asshole.

"Don't forget to write the date."

"That's literally the first thing I did." 

"Did you write the evaluation of the mother?"

"Yes."

"Fathers'?"

"Daughters'?"

"Yes. To both."

"What about..."

"Yes! Whatever family member you can come up with, I wrote about them. Ok?!"

He scoffed and turned his attention back to his computer screen. I thought he will leave me alone now, but I should've known better.

" Did you learn how to use commas yet or do I need to send you back to the third grade?"

"Just because I make a mistake once in a while doesn't mean I don't know how to use them!"

"Less screaming, more typing" 

"I swear Lukas, I am going to throw the computer in your face if you don't leave me alone."

"Then you will have to write everything on hand."

I have been repeating this mantra to myself just to say sane. I finished my report half an hour before my work day was over. Writing of the reports always took so long, because Lukas had to minimalistic-ly go through every single mini report, then his report and in the end mine. I finished three times already but it was never good enough and I had to write a whole bunch of paragraphs again. Even though there was absolutely nothing wrong with them in the first place! I would argue,  but that would just take up even more of my time. I don't understand why he became so insufferable. He probably tried to look good before his sister, because she is the one that reports to their father. I don't really know his relationship with his family, but I don't think he is that close to his father. He probably has daddy issues. But, that still isn't a good enough reason to turn into an absolute jerk. 

My last version of a report got proofread by him and he approved it with "it'll do". He isn't my boss. I could send upstairs my very first draft if I wanted to and he couldn't stop me. But I was also very aware of the fact, that from that point on, anything bad that would happen to us would be my fault. Even if I had nothing to do with it! It has happened before! You think I'm kidding? Once his computer broke and he claimed that because of my "subpar" reports we are not getting nicer things, because they are not taking us seriously. Even though his computer is the same as everyone else's' and he has spilled coffee on it the day before. He loves projecting fault onto someone else and that someone is usually me. That's a classic avoidance technic. I told him that once, to which he replied and I quote: "Psychoanalyse my ass, Spencer."

Gladly. His ass is more interesting than him anyway. Not that I look at it. I mean sure, I sneak a peak once in a while, but like it's not my fault. It's better looking than his face and personality combined. His ass is to good for him. I'm going to stop talking now. I gathered al the papers when a phone rang. First, I thought it was mine, but then Lukas said: "I had to take this"

He prepared to leave when I got up: "No, you stay. I'll take these to your sister."

He nodded and I exited the office. Halfway to the elevator, I realized that one paper is missing. Great. I went back and prepared myself for a dirty look Lukas will give me when I entered. I opened the door when I heard laughter. Like real, human one. I closed the door but not totally, so I could still hear what it was said. I know eavesdropping is bad or whatever, but I was curious now. What on earth could make Lukas O'Neal produce such a happy and beautiful sound? I almost doubted it was him. I never imagined he knew how to properly smile, never the less laugh. Well, wonders never cease.

"Yes Nana, I promise."

Was...Was he talking to his grandmother?

"Yes, I am taking them...Mhm. Everyday. I'm fine...Yes, I ate...I did get the cookies, thank you."

Oh, this is just too cute.

"I sleep a normal amount...I feel tired but nothing special...Nana...Nana...Nan-I promise, it's not going to be like that last time...That's what they are for..."

I wanted to listen to them. I can't express how much, but I knew I shouldn't. It just sounded too private. I'll wait until he finishes and then go get the paper. I left for the break room when my own phone started ringing. 

"Hey, Aron."

"Kara! How are you?"

"Good, thank you."

"How's Tim?"

"Great. Are you doing ok?"

"Perfect."

"How is Vanessa? And others? I haven't seen you guys in a while uh?"

"They are all ok."

"That's good. Can I ask you for a favor?"

"You know you can."

"Can I drop Tim off today and can you watch him for three or four days. I know it's last minute, but I just got a call for an emergency meeting in Ohio and I have to be on a plane at six thirty. So can he stay with you?"

My face lit up: "Of course! I am leaving work in about half an hour. Drop him off whenever."

"Thank you, Ar. You're a life saver."

"Anytime."

"I know you have work tomorrow, so I'll give you the money for a babysitter. I just want him to stay where is familiar."

"No, you don't need to. Margo is home. She can watch him."

"Ok great, perfect. God, I love you so much, Aron."

"Love you too."

"I'll be at your place around 4."

"Sounds good."

"See you."

"Bye."

I smiled. I guess I'll be having my "son" over for a couple of days.

"Do you practice how to be a dick or does that just come naturally to you?"

He looked into my pale blue eyes and bluntly answered: "Every morning in front of the mirror. You know what they say, practice makes perfect."

I rolled my eyes and he returned to his papers. I pushed his legs away from me and he almost fell off the chair. It put a little smile on my face. I live for simple things.

He Xinyan glared at manager Yu, who was looking at her hands.  
He Xinyan smirked and threw the folder back onto the table. Did they really think that this stupid act was enough to get her?
"Li Yuyan, this is your report?"
Li Yuyan straightened her back and nodded, "Yes. He Xinyan, don't try to lie. I saw you not do the report yesterday!"
He Xinyan almost laughed out loud. Did Li Yuyan get herself mixed up with He Xinyan?!
"Okay, if that is so, you should be familiar with what you wrote in the report, right?"
". . . Yes." Li Yuyan said as she blinked a few times.
"Great! Then what company did you write about as competition to the He Corporation in your report?"
Bai Jiawei sighed, "He Xin-"
"Dad, this question is simple. Yuyan should be able to answer it, right? I'm just curious to know." He Xinyan said with a smile, but Li Yuyan obviously didn't know.
She didn't even look at the report!
"This. . . this. . . The Aini Cosmetics. I talked about Aini Cosmetics because it is the most popular brand right now!"
He Xinyan grinned and grabbed the file folder. Without looking, she flipped to the third page and handed it to Bai Jiawei.
"It's quite interesting how the writer of the report doesn't even know who they put as the competitor. However, the outsider here who didn't write a report knows. It is the Sanxi brand."
Bai Jiawei looked at the page He Xinyan was on and saw that it was indeed the Sanxi brand.
Yesterday, after Gu Yechen had sent He Xinyan the monthly report, she suddenly decided to change the competitor to the Sanxi brand, because the statistics showed that the Sanxi brand was slowly climbing its way up.
So, she decided to use the Sanxi brand because it was more of a long-term competitor.  
Bai Jiawei looked up, "Yuyan, did you really write this report?"
Li Yuyan gulped, "I. . . I did! You can ask manager Yu!"
Yu Lin looked up and tried to hide her guilt, "Yes, chairman. . . Li Yuyan is indeed the one who wrote it."
He Xinyan scoffed, "How interesting that the one who wrote it doesn't even know the most important and basic information."
"I do! I just. . . I just forgot! It is the Sanxi Brand! I meant the Sanxi Brand. Yes, that's right. I didn't include Aini Cosmetics."
He Xinyan grinned and flipped to the next page, "How interesting! Aini Cosmetics is also included as a competitor, it is just on the next page."
Bai Jiawei looked and just as He Xinyan said, there was a smaller paragraph explaining how Aini Cosmetics was also a major competitor in the makeup field.  
"Li Yuyan, did you really write this?"
Li Yuyan knew that her act was about to be broken and she didn't know what to say. Finally, manager Yu spoke up.
"Chairman Bai, I think I made a mistake. That one is indeed He Xinyan's. Maybe it was because I was too busy yesterday, so I got things mixed up. I thought that that one was Li Yuyan's because they gave it to me at similar times."
Bai Jiawei frowned, not completely believing Manager Yu's words. However, he had a meeting soon, so he decided to just let it pass.
"Okay. Be more careful next time. He Xinyan and Li Yuyan, you both work hard."
Bai Jiawei frowned and left the room. Right after, He Xinyan glanced at Li Yuyan and manager Yu before also leaving.  
By now, she was certain that there was something going on between Li Yuyan and Yu Lin. Or else why would manager Yu help Li Yuyan and push herself out.
He Xinyan raised one eyebrow amusedly before leaving the room. When she opened the door, several eyes immediately returned to the screen. Bai Jiawei's screaming was quite loud, and the workers outside probably heard what they were talking about.
He Xinyan didn't care as she returned to her seat.
This day, there wasn't any special assignment, and she just did some basic work as a new worker. She made copies of documents, checked files before handing them up to Manager Yu, and did other things.
At the end of the day, He Xinyan left work early today and quickly drove home to Gu Yechen's house. Since she was early today, Gu Yechen wasn't back yet.
She took out a bag of snacks and a cup of juice, and plopped down onto the couch to relax. When she finished the bag of chips, the door opened and Gu Yechen returned.
He Xinyan immediately ran up and hugged him. Gu Yechen was a little surprised at the sudden force that hit him, but he smiled when he saw who it was.
"How was work today?"
"Bad! I got accused of not doing the report yesterday, but Li Yuyan actually didn't do it! I think Li Yuyan and our manager have something going on, because the manager helped her although she should know perfectly well that I was the one who did the report and Li Yuyan didn't!" He Xinyan ranted with a frown.
Gu Yechen raised one eyebrow, "Oh, really?"
He Xinyan nodded her head sadly.
"What is your manager's name?"
"Manager Yu. Her name is. . . Yu Lin."
Gu Yechen lifted He Xinyan up and carried her to the living room, dropping her onto the couch.
"I'll go cook." He walked into the kitchen and closed the door, however, he didn't start cooking immediately. Instead, he pulled out his phone and dialed a phone number.
"Yes, President Gu!" Chen Xiao said with a bite of food in his mouth.
"I need you to look into a person called Yu Lin. She is the market department manager at the He Corporation. I want the information in at most two hours."
"Yes, sir!"


“So, what do you want?” He Xinyan quickly glanced up into Gu Yechen’s face and frowned. Why did he look so familiar? Where did she see him before? 

“I want you.” 

“. . .” Well, that was direct. 

He Xinyan opened her mouth to speak but she couldn’t form the right words. 

“Let's make a deal. You become my girlfriend and you can ask for anything in return.”

“Anything?” He Xinyan repeated.

Gu Yechen nodded his head, “Anything.”

He Xinyan thought about what could help her but realized that there wasn’t much she needed as of now. However, she would definitely need support in the future.

There were many things she couldn’t do by herself, but Gu Yechen would definitely be able to do. 

“How long would this deal last?”

Gu Yechen leaned back against the couch casually, “However long I feel like.”

“And. . . that is about how long?”

“Forever.”

IIt was near the end of the first month, where some assignments were going to be submitted. Luckily, there were only two, language short essay and physics rehearsal report.
	The rehearsal was on the Thursday in the last week so that we could make it in seven days. Working on it was so easy, even not disturbing anything, including my job with Kevin.
	At the moment, I was going to continue writing the second copy of the report. The original had written by Markus and me, with Fransisca help.
	"So you will write that again?" Farell asked me, "As our copy of the report?"
	I looked at him, "Yes, I will continue it in this recession time."
	"Alright, get it well. My book is still at you, isn't it?"
	"Haven't I already returned it to you?" I uttered, "I handed it to you last Monday."
	He squinted his eyes, "Oh yes, it's already in other hand I think."
	"And who were them who bring it?"
	"I think it's Maria, she was the one who have to make interpretation. But she doesn't want to disturb your writing."
	"Well, let's me got focused again on the text," I threw my eyes off him.
	I proofread first before continuing it, making sure there's no problem. When I looked at the first page, there's something missing and looked like a fatality.
	I tried to remember something which was missing from the page, and it was fundamental theory. The theory that we have to do a measurement as data clarification.
	"Bro, I see that we almost forgotten something to write," I laughed, "and it's so fatal for us."
	"What was it? Add to it quickly already," Farell said, "Fransisca must be forgotten to copy it from your draft."
	"Yeah, I think she just copied it straightly without proofing. By the way, do you know what doesn't exist?"
	"What? Our name? Report title?"
	I shook my head, "No. There isn't the fundamental, the reason of existence of measurements."
	"Nice, and what have you been doing?" He yanked, "We should make a new one."
	I didn't know why, but we did not feel panic at the moment. It must be because we only need to repeat writing that report.
	"We have been making drafts since Friday to Monday and it's already copied," I spoke, "So it wouldn't take long to copy to new one."
	"But don't we have to replace the layout? We will overwrite it."
	"No, it's only took a few space to write."
	"So are you going to write that right now?
	I took the papers off the board, and putted it in my folder. Instead of directly continue that, I decided to research the fundamental theory.

	I knew that I had the reason of the existence of the measurement in my notebook. The problem was that I didn't bring it.
	Nevertheless, I still able to made a note of the sentence on a paper. I walked to the library in order to get rid of this easily.
	"Hold on," Farell tapped my shoulder, "Are you going to library so that you can get the statement easily?"
	I looked at him and skewed my head, "Yes, I am. I don't think you'll casually follow me up here."
	"Let's get in already," he juggled his eyes.
	As he said, I opened the door and stepped inside the library. I filled the guest book and took a look around and noticed someone.
	When I stepped nearer toward them, I recognized them as Fransisca and Maria. It was so lucky that I could ask them directly.
	Without more steps, I walked into them and sat beside them casually, followed by Farell. I putted on the report paper on the table and showed it to Fransisca.
	"Um, nice to meet you again," she looked at us, "What brought you here with that?"
	"It's not so much," I answered, "Literally I just noticed that something is missing."
	"And why do you have to show that to me?" She asked.
	I pointed at the first page of my draft, where there're two empty row, "You did not see this and just walked away from, copy it."
	She pulled the paper from the table and corrected her glasses, "Oh, I see. By the way, what is supposed to be there?"
	"A fundamental fact!" Maria stood up and yelled, "I did not see that in our rehearsal report."
	"What was with that loud sound?" I squinted my eyes.
	"Ups, I'm sorry for making such noise," Maria whispered, "Continue it."
	Unfortunately, the mindset of that everything should have something to set as standard. I thought that measurement was there in order to balance thing as well. 
	I did not know how that passed in my mind, but I know it would be a good thing to write. Since I already got it, the only thing left was ask for help to rewrite. 
	"Alright, literally I just made that," I stated, "I think I just found the reason of the existence of measurement."
	"Hold on," Farell skipped with a comic, "Didn't we two just arrive here? And you already know the answer."
	"Don't really mind that, but I think I will only ask if you can help me rewrite the report this afternoon, Fransisca," I spontaneously uttered.
	"Okay then, I will meet you at the volley court."
	As she said, she suddenly ran to the door, going out. Maria stood up and followed her, Farell stood up and ask me to get out.
	"I know that, but you would help us," I joked.
	"I think I just will proofread only," he said.

	We left the library and got ourselves for the last session today. Literally it was only an evaluation for today and agenda for tomorrow.
	Right after the bell rang, I walked to the volley court with Farell and found her there. There weren't too many people around.
	I sat down and pulled out the blank papers, "Hello there, let's write this."
	Fransisca looked at me, "Can you get back to your original greet?"
	"Original greet? Are you referring to how I greet you?"
	"He always greet people like that," Farell spoke, "Since the third year."
	She puffed, "Alright then. However, can you give me the original draft so that I can write according to that?"
	"Hold on, you will make mistake again," I smirked, "you should look at the copied and mine so that you can notice where is the revision."
	She pouted, "You truly underestimated my accuracy. We only need to copy new one."
	"But we still have to add one more sentence, don't we?" Farell opined.
	"Well, let's copy these," I handed one original to Fransisca and one for me, "Add the reason I wrote on my book after the purpose."
	Right as we started writing new one and Farell read the uncompleted, running steps heard. I thought it was only common sound, but it was getting nearer to us.
	"Wait, what are you two doing?" Maria yelled.
	"Don't you know that we're still on the same group for two topic of science lesson?" Fransisca mouthed.
	"But I think Norbert asked you to recheck the report only, not rewrite," she uttered.
	"Can you just shut up and help Fransisca make sure that she writes it correctly?" Farell yanked.
	"Oh, well. I will lend my hand."
	Those did not really disturb me and the rewriting. As I said, it would be finished quickly as it was the third time I had to write that.

Heartcore Junior High School.
The first semester of school in the first year is the most boring time for Norbertus Glowing Quartz because for the first month, there is nothing big. He had only been doing tasks, administrate data, and try to talk to anyone. Everything become normal after the extracurricular starts, after the Pre-Test passed, but it was revealed many things that actually happened during extracurriculars, even before the Pre-Test. Due to the fact that he doesn't have much knowledge about what is going on before him, he has suddenly stuck in the guild problem.

Ah, this is a pain.
I apologize for the sudden question, but do you know about the concept of otherworldly reincarnation?
I had never heard of it until I reincarnated, and I don't think its usage was that common in my former world, but its meaning is just as it sounds: being reincarnated into another world. In most cases, the person affected usually retains the knowledge of their past life, and gets some sort of special power or something.
I don't really get it, but you start a new game with new strength.
And it's not like I was strong in my former life or anything. Ah. Ha. Ha.
For example, on a planet called earth, in a country called Japan, in a place called Tokyo, I was born. Well, I doubt you're really interested, so I'll skip that part. Anyways, this world has a few people like that distributed here and there, and quite a few of them hold some important offices.
Like Hero, or adventurer, or saint, or inventor, or noble, or stuff like that. Apparently those people often follow that pattern.
I wonder how they manage to do such pain-in-the-ass jobs. They're just like normal rocks on the side of the road, and I really don't care, but I can't help but be impressed by their motivation.
If you ask me why I'm saying these things…

… What? Why am I wasting energy moving my mouth to say these pointless things?
"… The Great Demon King has given you a direct order. Please go and write a proper report!"
Loud.
Unable to escape the annoying voice by my ear, I stuck my elbow into the bed, and turned over.
The one nagging into my ear was a woman whose clothing was all made with black as the base color.
Her disposition was as cold as a doll's. There's no doubt that she's quite a beauty.
How useless.
I stick my elbow into my pillow to prop myself up, and looked at the woman who was knitting her eyebrows at me—the Great Demon King, King of Destruction, 『Kanon』's something something knight brigade's member, I think.
"And… what was that again?"
"A report! I'm the one who should be angry here, right!? Even though we were dispatched at the same time to all the demon lords, why is it that I'm the only one who can't go back yet…"
"Ah, you sure have it rough…"
"Please quit screwing around! Write. Your. Damn. Report!"
I don't get what's she's trying to say.
Why do I have to do something like that?
Ah, my arm's tired. I once again fell into my pillow. I've wasted some energy on a useless thing.
She violently shakes my shoulders. Her shrieking voice is just way too annoying.
I raise only me head, and look at the woman who's supposed to be from the Great Demon Lord.
For Christ's sake, if you have the time to be doing this, go do your job. Your job.
"Oy, you. Go write the report."
"Wha… what!? W-why do I have… in the first place, what should I write…"
"I'll leave it to you. I'm busy."
I grabbed the cover, but the woman grabbed my arm as I wriggled into it.
Dammit this is a pain. After I've said this much, she still plans on annoying me?
I'm tired. I'm sleepy. I really don't care.
And wait, what sort of report is she on about?
"In the first place, weren't you the one to say it, Demon Lord!? That writing was a pain so you would talk and I would write it all!?"
"… Talking has gotten tiring, so just write whatever you want."
I tossed over the square box that had fallen off of the mattress.
It's my official seal. It seems that I have to stamp it on reports. It's a pain to get up to find it, so, I always keep it under the covers.
Regardless of whether she writes what I speak, or reports whatever she wants, I can see that the contents will be fiction, so there's no point.
The woman frantically moves her arm to catch it, before staring at me with a blank expression.
"… Then, later."
"What!? Wai…. Again, this is… get up!"
This time, I just ignore her screaming voice, and pull the covers over my head.
In a few seconds, my conscious drifts away, and the annoying voice is merely a sound in the distance. My mind escaped my body.
Um, I think there was something I was supposed to say. What was it again?
Ah… my name.
