"I want to meet them, invite them here." Feng Yun said to the servant.
"Understood, Young Master." The servant said before walking out from Feng Yun's room.
Feng Yun waited for a while as two people arrived in his courtyard.
"Greeting to young master." Both Han Chen and Su Meifen saluted and bowed.
"How is your health?" Feng Yun immediately asked.
"It is good, Young Master, We have recovered our 50% of strength, in two days, we would be recovered completely." Han Chen said.
"Good." Feng Yun nodded with approval, after eating Earth Ranked healing medicine.
"I am going to leave the Feng Clan soon, you two also come with me." Feng Yun said.
"Yes, Young Master." They nodded, after Feng Yun gave them a gesture to leave.

After three days, Feng Yun with four people left the Feng Clan, their destination was Red Moon Kingdom's capital city, where the king of the Red Mood City resided.

Feng Yun was relieved lightly because of the Han Chen, he didn't need to do these miscellaneous works.
After two hours, Han Chen come back with information.
"Young Master, I have gathered enough. The King offering a party in the imperial palace, he invited all the important member in the palace." Han Chen said.
The royal family invites, naturally has nothing to do with Feng Yun. But Feng Yun decided to go to the party, he needed to punish the king.
"Should we also go to the party?" Yan Zilan's eyes glimmered with excitement when she heard about the party in the palace.
Feng Yun nodded his head. "We all attend the banquet." But soon Feng Yun regretted his decision to bring women with him to the palace. 
Three women immediately went to the shopping to buy the luxurious dress and kept walking in the clothes shop one after another to buy the best dress.
"Feng Yun, How is it?" Yan Zilan walked out of the trial room, showing her dress to Feng Yun.
Yan Zilan is dressed up. As a magnate, her favorite is this kind of banquet, which overshadowed the women in the audience and let the men dazzle. This is the source of her motivation and filled her with vanity.

Mhmm... Getting straight to the point, I'm temporarily putting his novel on hiatus. I mentioned this once before in an author's notes, but the main reason I've chosen to write this fanfiction is for the readers. Don't get me wrong, I like where this story is heading and how I've built it up. Though admittedly, there are somethings that I could have arranged differently for people to swallow, I've learned a lot from posting this fanfiction. 

Among those things is how much bad reception effects me. I won't lie, it really does wear a person down to be reminded day by day that your novel is "shit," "trash," or just plain "worthless," and even if deep down I feel confident in how I've structured my story, how I've replied to any "critical" reviews and how I've written every other aspect of the story. Seeing my story in its current state, across all three platforms I've released it in, have such bad reviews when I can objectively look at others works and confidently say they're inferior at the very least grammar-wise, honestly makes me want to delete this story and start something else.

Enough of the moping self-pity shit, this is what I'm going to do. For the foreseeable future, I'm going to start a different MHA fanfic. It'll be different in the sense that I won't add any tragedy to it at least not early on or to the degree that may have triggered those who've read this story up to its latest chapter. However, just for the hell of it, I'll make a poll to see which of the two ideas I have concocted, my general audience prefers to see. If that novel performs as expected — earns a reception less horrid than that of this novel — I'll continue it, If not I guess I'll come back to this or something.

Sorry to all those that like the story or gave me positive reviews for not finishing it, but its honestly an eyesore to see a 3.4 star rating next to my fanfic every time I go to check for new reviews. In either case, I have no doubt that I'll manage to find a way to make the MCs OP beyond reason and no, it probably wont be a harem for either case; not a fan of writing that kind of stuff — not that I've tried, but I can imagine. Also, like this novel, it'll probably involve a transmigration — confirmed for the first case — and probably some references to this novel as well.

Hi everyone. So a person asked me a question in the comments section and when I wanted to reply I understood how much answer to that question means to me and what it implies. So I decided to answer here as a chapter. I will probably delete after a month or something, but comment wouldn't be enough to work as answer.
Question was :
"Hey mr merlin, I wanna know how do you get motivated to keep going on your story? "
And the answer is both simple and complex at the same time. Not many people around me know about my hobby first of all. After all, I started to write only to ... well... create a story I suppose? I always had these worlds brewing in my mind and so many were destroyed in the process of me growing up. Simply forgoten. And during summer I saw that contest on the webnovel about Harry Potter. And I thought, I don't like this Universe, but hey, I will write something that I can then read. And that was my dream. To make a story, I will read and enjoy...
And oh boy it was ridiculously hard. In the beginning writing chapters is easy, especially on summer, when you have nothing much to do, but the further you go the harder it becomes. On average I was spending 3 to 4 hours on every chapter.
But I suppose I digress. What motivates to keep going. My Will most of the time, to be honest. And also positive comments and reviews I see. They give me strength and let me know that my story matters. My work matters. Lately chapters are around 1k and believe it or not but every single paragraph is a struggle. Especially now, so far into the story. On every paragraph I am doubting everything. I am doubting my skills as an author. I am doubting the story, grammar and how enjoyable is the read so far. Sometimes, I can write 400 words in an hour and sometimes I spend 2 days to write 100 words piece. Chapter I am writing right now is being rewritten twice already and I am still not sure about it. One of the reasons it's not published. I have to review it and then publish.
And then of course there is a situation with negative comments and reviews. I know it's just a small part of the readers, but nonetheless it hurts. And it creates a lot more the of internal doubts that are eating me from inside. I am figthing them. There were mornings when I checked webnovel and saw new comments, only to drop back to bed feeling empty inside, because they were saying how bad novel is.
But you know, mate. I just keep working on it. I am improving all the time and I am doing my best to deliver best story I could with the tools I have. I think that improvements are quite obvious for those who were reading from the beginning of my fanfic. But maybe, I am just wrong and... Ah whatever...
Also, lately people started commenting more often(maybe story became more interesting?), which helps me understand that my work matters. This keeps me motivated. One such example was 2 days ago, I recieved a review from origi_fiend and it got me pumped up with positivity. And I wrote like 500 words in a few hours. Not much, but I was quite happy with that progress))) 
All in all, what keeps me really motivated to continue this story are my wish to see the story completed and your, readers, support (votes, reviews, comments). I hope that answers you question in full. And sorry that my answer was so long. It was just... I don't know... I saw your question and so many memmories and emotions just came to surface. I thought I needed to frame them into words. 
Damn... Now I am embarassed about what I wrote... I think I will just reply with the last paragraph...

Why did I write this? Because it sounded fun and I was motivated to try. I never wrote anything before aside from schoolwork years ago. Writing was a stress reliever from real life. 

Work and relationships get a guy wound up a bit you know?

He/she deleted everything they wrote outside of the actual reviews which I deleted for spamming me with multiple 1 star reviews, and now is talking shit about how I delete other reviews? How I am a rude person? You are trying to shit on me in the first three chaps of my fanfic.

Yeah so to anyone who argued the point, NO a troll is not someone with a criticizing review. A TROLL is someone who doesn't like your stuff and proceeds to touch everywhere only you can see or anyone new to you can see.  

Replies to other reviewers and all my chapter where all I said was "Thank you." Or something simple. And I get spammed, but others don't get notified because the spam was on my comment. 

Then the troll deletes them and pretends to be innocent? I count over two dozen posts in a two-hour period. 

Nah, Fuck this guys. This is no longer fun, I can't write without thinking about that piece of shit. People with extremely low self-esteem have committed self harm due to this shit. I have personally talked down friends from cutting themselves and overdosing. 

If you made it this far. I'll keep writing, but its going to slow down a lot, maybe a chap or two a week unless I get motivated then I will get in a few more, not sure if it will be webnovel, i want something with a more strict watch where people cant delete their shit after its posted. 

It was a fun two weeks, i only stopped myself from deleting the fic due to all your positive reviews and comments. Thank you to those guys and gals.

It's up to 77 chapters now and is officially on Haitus thanks to certain factors (mostly job hunting), yet there is a severely limited amount of reviews to the point Webnovel can't even give an overall rating.

Now, considering I had to change accounts twice over the years after getting involved with TheOnionJuntion, IRL problems, etc. And I have no right to complain if some of my readers complain from how much I tend to rewrite entire patches of the story (not even with great grammar on top of it). But I'm interested because of how mixed the opinions were of the Webnovel community once.

There was even that Daoist_Phoenix who specifically made a review to counterbalance some other negative reviews that literally said nothing about the story or plot of this original fiction.

There has always been mixed opinions no matter where I posted this story that had nothing to do with the grammar (even though that's normally the case) or really BAD handling of plot (which usually means there's pacing or issues with what was promised and what was presented. Even times when an Author can make the characters act inconsistent). Rather, they were confused since I wasn't 'telling everything' in the first few chapters about the world which was built, and was instead focusing too much on characters and stuff.

Since this story was written in a different way compared to others, there was a big divide when it came to expectations and what the story became in the end. There are constant mentions of the Endgame being a Holy War yet here the MC is walking around and not even attempting to get closer to the supposed 'end goal'. He was being thrown about like a sandbag by story events...

Someone challenges him to a duel? Beats him and gets a higher position. Assassin attempts to kill his little sister? Pops her head like a balloon with a single bullet before deciding to leave home. Then the reveal of Chaos ended the second Arc...

I know as well as you do that the plot is all over the place and I put too much emphasis on themes rather than what's actually happening. However, it was clear for anyone who read past the second chapter that I wasn't writing an 'Epic Fantasy'.

Even people from TheOnionJunktion, who I am technically not a part of anymore due to my phone being buggy and being unable to keep in touch with, criticised the third chapter as just exposition.

My reply to him was that as long as that exposition is necessary and interesting, it's fine. There are too many writers scared to write in 'exposition' due to readers giving bad advice sometimes such as 'show don't tell' and other kind of nonsense.

Writing is all about 'telling'. You can't really 'show' a story unless you're drawing or animating.

Onomatopoeias and other shortcuts can perhaps vaguely send some signals about what kind of world you're in. However, that can only be taken so far before actual dialogue and proper expositions are needed since the reader might go down a wrong tangent if you aren't being clear. This is especially true when writing a fantasy story...

I know this sounds like me giving a sassy retort towards criticisms, but like I said that time my RoyalRoad account was flooded by messages telling me how to write my own story and I put a full stop to this story out of anger: There's a difference between helpful and just plain toxic criticisms. The more added to the mental burden, the less I write.

There's a common oxymoron phrase that: 'You should write what you want and not care about comments'. Even though they too COMMENT in order to tell me that...! Which defeats their point.

Let's not get into my thin skin and complaining again since you already had enough of that on my other account. In the end of the day, what I'm trying to say is: Judge the actual story, not your mood or if you personally don't like the genre.

If you don't like a particular brand of fantasy, why the hell do you read it? (Not you guys of course but those commenters on other sites that blatantly say that they don't like fantasy and will rate my story badly because it didn't suit their particular taste.)

I mean, I know personal preference is a thing, but if you can't even add ways to improve the story on top of that personal opinion, then you are going too far. There are people who are genuinely trying to improve their stories on this site and writing short comments that say it's bad and nothing else really kills enthusiasm. I myself write as a hobby rather than work so I don't understand the sense of entitlement some trolls have when 'criticising'.

Moving on, all this Author's Note was for was to ask for reviews so I can take in what you guys thought of it overall and maybe continue it depending on the responses. I'm not saying write uselessly positive praise or anything... just a general critique on what you liked, disliked, and what would like me to improve on is enough.

That's really all that's needed. If even this is too much, then it's fine to write your rough opinion while reading through each Arc. I have grown older and am not that whiny teenager anymore when I started this book, and hope to see your thoughts.

This is a story I worked on ages ago that has been refined and edited by adding foreshadowing to events while also simplifying the power system better than before. This story can be considered a prequel to An Adventure Beyond Greatness as it takes place years prior to the events of that story.

Short Synopsis:
After retiring from the battlefield, my life became empty and lifeless. The regrets of my past haunt me in my sleep. Then a change occurred, a King from another world summoned me to fight for his kingdom, but I died even before I could give him my answer. Now, after a fake God allowed me to reincarnate (albeit imperfectly) with my memories intact, into a world filled with magic and swords.

Long Synopsis:
This is about a flawed protagonist who only knew to rely on others and not socialise who gets a second chance to change himself in order to live the life he aimed for in his past life. The narrator isn’t exactly trustworthy since it is purely in his bias perspective while other perspectives given by others fill in the blanks that he either leaves out or twists to suit the situation.

The story itself can be considered a parody of Isekai’s classic tropes which are given a sense of reality as time goes by. As there exists no ‘Demon Lord’, there is also no black and white, only characters opinions and counter-opinions throughout the story.
