Lukas was rooted on the spot, dread filling him as fear for his life filled his very senses, along with wonder and worry, he swiped away the notification that appeared in front of him because he realized this wasn't a weirdly lucid dream anymore. This was real, the mass of red cloud which he assumed was chakra was imprinted in his mind as his eyes captured everything with perfect clarity.

It was an experience, staring at the Nine-tails building up chakra for a bijuudama, how he could see that the eyes of Kurama weren't the normal slitted ones but the famed Sharingan, how in a bright flash of light the bijuu dama vanished followed by the bijuu. Images of the fourth Hokage fighting Obito flashed in my mind as I finally collapsed.

My feet finally responded as I took a few deep breaths, various thoughts flashed in my mind but the most important among them was.

'Why the fuck would I have to be stupid enough to select the Uchiha...'

As if affirming my stupid choice another window appeared in front of me.

[Story Quest Activated: Survive the Uchiha clan Purge.]

[Objective: As you have noticed it was easily visible to most of the higher rank ninja that the Sharingan controlled the Nine-tailed fox, so the purge of the Uchiha clan is unstoppable. Survive the Purge.]

[Rewards: 5x Levels, Sharingan upgrade, 500,000Ryo]

[Penalty: Death.]

I stared at the quest for a few seconds before I slowly felt a little lethargic, the last thought I had was, 'I'm fucked aren't I?'

Lukas looked at the bright blue screen that appeared in front of him, in the infinite darkness where he had been floating for what he guessed was a couple of minutes. Still, life wasn't always this complicated for Lukas, at least not at the level of hallucinating about his life being a game.

'And now I'm dreaming about a matrix-type world, still, I'm weirdly lucid in this dream.'

Lukas waved his arms and legs around, he felt like he was floating deep in a pool, except for the absence of the pressure from all around him and that he could breathe easily, he looked around at the neverending darkness before he shivered and focused his thoughts back at the blue screen.

'It's a weird dream, or maybe more of a nightmare, this darkness is creeping me out.'

The blue box in front of him flickered and vanished and Lukas panicked for a second, before a new box flickered in front of him, confusing him even more and increasing his panicked scrambling.

[CHOOSE ONE:]

'What does this even mean, I need to go see a therapist, it seems like I have read one too many fanfictions...'

Lukas chuckled in his mind as he read through his options once again, his figure hovered over the three options before his mind flashed back to his thoughts the day before when he was being shit on by an Immortal 3 smurf.

'heh, if this dream lasts long enough I'll show you "IJustWannaPlay" how you one-tap with a Sharingan...'

As soon as he clicked on Uchiha the screen vanished and a new one took its place...

Before Lukas could even figure out what was going on he fainted, only to be woken up to the image of a Bijuu standing over the damn Hokage monument.

'Ugh, what the fuck hit me...'

I stirred awake slowly, I don't know what the fuck happened but one thing was for sure, I needed an aspirin. I opened my eyes, and a ray of sunlight was hitting right by my bed illuminating my room, as soon as I tried to sit up a sense of vertigo hit me, I felt like vomiting so I dry heaved for a bit, and my eyes, on the other hand, felt unnaturally clear and in a moment I figured out why I was feeling so damn sick and different.

'I am in the body of a kid,' I thought panicked and before I could start shouting an unnatural calm overtook me, I blinked, and blinked again but the panic and fear that was bubbling in me were gone leaving behind serene confidence. My panic-free mind easily made the connection to the manga I had devoured a few weeks ago.

'Gamer's mind... that means, Status?'

I almost jumped at the blue window that appeared in front of me, it was similar to the one I had read in my supposed dream last night, I ignored the impulse to stand up and look outside to see if the Hokage monument was still there but I stayed put and got a good look at my stats.

'What kind of name is 'Fujii', the fuck am I named after a mountain for?' I thought as I read through my stats and immediately sensed something was amiss, there was no HP bar on my status screen, and if I remember correctly then there was no notification telling me that my HP and CP were restored because I slept for more than 8 hours in my bed.

'Skills, Inventory...' I started spamming the skills I remember from the manga hoping that nothing else was different when I confirmed that I just had a massive disadvantage in my quest for survival in the elemental nations.

'What do you mean I have partial gamer's body, I want to train then sleep then train to exploit the game...' I grumbled as I slowly stood up from my bed. It was now I realized how short I was, I remember just last night I was 6 foot 2 and now I wasn't even able to reach the window sill properly.

"You are awake Fujii," I heard a voice from behind me.

I was startled as I turned and looked at the man that would have towered over me if we had stood together, the gamer's mind helped me calm down and not react to the words floating above his head.

"Come with me," Takaki instructed with a blank face and walked away, leaving me to slowly stumble towards the door in a hurry to follow him.
