My vampire system: Abraham(fanfiction)

Drip drip…. The sound of blood falling was echoing in the dark cell. The light on top keeps blinking to semi-reveal a group of people in such a confined space. Yet what was distinct was three bulky men trying their best to beat a single person. Alas, as skillful as Abraham was, winning against these three was becoming an impossible task. In the end, the inevitable happens as two of the opponents got a hold of Abraham, and the third one plant a powerful fist on his stomach. Amidst the vomit of blood from Abraham, the bulky man continue to rain punch upon punch releasing all his fury.

"Stop" came a voice from outside the cell. During such an incident, such word would have brought relief to anyone but Abraham, this was the voice of the whole misery. Pure anger and disdain filled Abraham's eyes as he saw his three opponents make way for a fat man and his bodyguards to come face-to-face with him.

"Oh my poor Abraham, look at you, all beat up, toouu.." the fat man spits on Abraham who was having difficulty keeping standing.

Unlike the pain and saddening emotion that the fat man was searching on Abraham's face, a smile was being seen. A devilish smile.

"Haha, unlike your son, I'm not crying like a baby, begging me to stop. I can still hear his cry while I was torturing him". As Abraham was saying those words, he gather his willpower to the maximum and use the last of his strength to pounce at the fat man. The latter didn't have time to react to memories of his son's death he could see a fierce beast jumping on prey. Abraham used this short moment of stupifying on everyone's mind to pierce his thumb onto his prey.

"Argghhhh" the fat man released an unbearable sound. Without wasting time, Abraham start straggling the fat man but the bodyguards had got out of their daze and have been able to separate Abraham from their boss. "kill him, I want him dead now" launch the fat man as he was being dragged outside the cell by one of the bulky men. The rest of the bodyguards swiftly got hold of Abraham and one of them start strangling him. Abraham could see his end was near. His eyes involuntarily looked around his cell. He found books scattered on the floor.

This brought back the memories of the journey that got him to this very moment.

Abraham was a very kind-hearted sports teacher. The daily interaction with his students and their infantry behavior was enough for him to survive. Alas, one day he started to notice a female student behaving bizarrely. After multiple inquiries, the girl broke down and started telling her miseries. She and her boyfriend were at a club when a rich boy tried to molest her. When her boyfriend step up for her, the rich boy instantly killed him with a gun. The student was not able to continue wording the event but Abraham was already aware of what that evil boy did next.

Trying to find justice for her, Abraham filed a case and later the culprit was revealed to be the minister's son. Using every connection possible the case was won in favor of the boy and the student was humiliated. Could not cope any longer with the unfairness against her, the student put an end to her life.

But that wasn't the end, no, Abraham was fired from work. On his final day at work, while returning from home, he was kidnapped by the boy. Expecting to be tortured and all yet none happened. Inside this huge warehouse where Abraham was kept, was another person being held up and that person was no stranger to Abraham. It was none other than his brother, his only remaining family.

Abraham pleaded for the release of his brother but all meet deaf ears. Right in front of him, drugs were being injected into his brother.

"This is what happens to those that mess with my family, now suffer". These words came from the minister himself, "the fat man". With a call from the minister, the police came and together they framed Abraham's brother for drug consumption and distribution.

As for Abraham, he was released to witness the fate of his brother and suffer for the rest of his life.

That was the start of his path for revenge and one day being able to capture the minister's son and killed him. But of course, Abraham made sure to torture the boy without letting having a quick death.

On top of that Abraham started to gather evidence of all the wrongdoings of the minister and exposed that to the public. Later with the protest from the public, no connection was able to spare the minister from being sent to prison and Abraham himself was charged with the murder of the minister's son.

"Haha, I think it's true, when one is near death, his life starts playing in his memories". Abraham started to become dizzy from the strangulation by the bodyguards.

Those books lying in his prison cell were novel stories gifted to him by his previous students to pass his time.

With the last seconds remaining, Abraham was reflecting on his life, and how he got from a kind teacher to a killer. During his revenge, Abraham became a cold person not hesitating to use someone to his advantage. He felt that he was on a thin line between good and bad.

Slowly the light from his eyes was fading, having difficulty breathing and his mind was being void of any thought.

But at the very last moment, an atrocious pain was being felt throughout his body, like his soul was being ripped off.

Cry. That was what he was feeling at the moment. He wanted to start crying yet no sound came.

Then he heard a voice. "live, live, live..." These words continue to echo in himself.

On the outside, The body of Abraham was finally without life.

Later people would remember this day as the day a man fought against injustice and won.

{Author's Note}

I started the fanfiction while the original book was still ongoing. So there may be some difference. For example, I gave Quinn's parents a random name as it was never revealed when starting the book but later on in the original, Quinn's parents' names were mentioned.

As it would take a lot of rework, imagine this story taking place in a different timeline.
