 Chapter One { The Beginnings}

 Li Qi 利器 is chasing a huge man with an old scar on his face along an empty street, approaching the man from behind. Although the man was larger than Li Qi, he still managed to overpower him, knock him to the ground, and put him into a headlock. While they were in this position, Li Qi told him in a deep and resolute voice,

"Pay what you owe in a month, or else next time I won't talk to you. I will just finish you." He then released the man's head, swiftly dislocated the man's shoulder in a single fluid motion, and calmly walked away, whistling to the tune of an old song while playing with the man's wallet in his hands. The man still lay on the floor, writhing in pain.

Li Qi went to a restaurant and entered the kitchen. He threw the wallet in front of a man in his fifties, who picked it up and looked inside, then commented that "there is no money in it."

"What did you expect to find in a bankrupt gambling addict's wallet?" asked Li Qi, eating a banana.

"Then why have you brought it to me?"

"To let you know that I finished the job. that his shoulder has been dislocated and some scars have been added to what he already had, and that he has received your message, he has a one-month deadline. So, if you need something done after the end of the month, you know where to find me and how much I charge."

"A live gambler that delays or pays a little better than a corpse without family" The man said.

"None of my business; it's your business; I delivered your message; In the future, if you decide to contact me, make sure you want this job done; I don't repeat myself; I will not threaten again; understood?"

Li Qi looked at the man with an intimidating look that made the man fearful. Although the man looked rugged and strong, he still felt nervous from the look that Li Qi had given him. The man answered quickly,

"No, don't worry; I'm not going to bother you for the same person, and I am grateful for your help. It was another mission for you, but not for me; it's for a trustworthy person."

"There is no such thing as trust. I'm taking my money in advance." Li Qi commented.

"Of course, whoever suggested otherwise, I shall just tell you to go and find out the mission from him personally."

"I don't go to anyone; if I am wanted, then you know where to find me. Let him go there after two hours or tomorrow at the same time, asking about me as usual." Li Qi said in a strong tone.

He placed the banana peel on the table in front of the man, said goodbye, and left.
