He thought that was it, but then a goddess offered him a chance at a new life if he was ready to accept the task she offered in exchange: to defeat the Demon King in a fantasy world full of magic. This is a story about a good guy slowly being molded into something else as the world tramples on his morals. Will he be able to stay true to his beliefs? Of Elves and Men

Damien Thomas was a normal boy born into misfortune. Orphaned at a young age, the young Damien was taken in and adopted by an old, Canadian fisherman. Despite the rather unfortunate start to his life, Damien found comfort in his adopted Father and the life he had been given. When Damien wasn't busy studying hard at school, he would often help his father out at the docks or local fisherman's market. However, after an unfortunate driving accident, Damien suddenly found himself in a completely different world. One where dragons and elves stood side-by-side with human knights and magic. Thrust into a world straight out of a fantasy novel, Damien now has to manoeuver his way through dangerous monsters, scheming tyrants, and zealous armies all in a completely normal body. Will his wits carry him through to the end? Or will he eventually crumble and suffer under the weight of a world that seemed to thoroughly wish to push him down?

In general my favourite written fan fiction work so far. The story is really solid and has a lot of background. As someone that is relatively new to the fan fiction formula instead of a regular OS I feel refreshed reading in general about Jack's story on this Wonderful World. The narrative and general vocabulary the author is using may be kind complex but it never gets boring or uninteresting and it keeps you on your toes so you don't miss anything. If this is something to remark I would like to also address the little notes the author left at the end of every chapter also helps to get the reader's attention with a more personal touch with some funny references even. The characters are well written and its noticeable by the author's fidelity to the original Konosuba's cast but with a little funny and honestly really interesting twist to them in their personality. This is not about the story but it's really nice of the author to keep a regular update basis for the story because that shows he actually cares about what is he/she writing. Still not a Warhammer fanfic so 3/10

It is a very good book with excellent management of characters, narrative, and history. Additionally, the well-placed references enhance the overall experience, keeping the readers intrigued. I highly recommend this book.
