Yan Xuan was not paying attention to anyone else in the restaurant. His eyes were focused on only one person, Mo Hua who was sitting opposite him.

His face brightened when he saw Mo Hua leaving her seat to sit beside him. He was ready to get up and pull the chair when he heard a feminine voice.

"What are you doing here?" His face turned cold as he saw her and asked her low voice. He didn't expect her to be here.

'Deng Tia!! What is she doing here? Did Xuan… No, he won't... Then why?' Mo Hua sat contemplating at the pair opposite to her.

"I invited her. She is Mia's best friend and Mia had planned to have breakfast with Tia before, but I wanted to introduce Mia to you guys so I invited Tia as well." Rong Chi spoke sensing the tension in the room. He tried to ease the air as if nothing mattered.

But unfortunately, no one was happy with Deng Tia's arrival except Mia.

Mia jumped from her seat in excitement and leaped over to Deng Tia, "Hey Babe... I missed you and our days in States. I must say though, you are looking prettier than before. Is it because of love?"

Tia glanced at Yan Xuan and blushed hard, slapping Mia's arm gently, she shyly said, "Mia. What love? I returned just now. You don't expect me to be in a relationship already, do you?"

Mia hugged her and whispered, "Don't worry I am here to help you get what you want." She then broke the hug and sneered at Mo Hua and said, "Tia, now you are back so let's see who will reject you. Just pick a guy you like. He will be lucky to have you."

"Is it a market to pick up what you like? Are you looking for a boyfriend or a concealer to hide your plastic face?" XiXi angrily spat out the words which were causing turmoil in her mind.

"You... How dare you insult me?" Mia yelled angrily at XiXi., then she turned towards Rong Chi and coquettishly said, "Honey, look your girlfriend is getting bullied. Won't you help me?"

Rong Chi who was just now regretting his decision to let Mia invite Deng Tia over for this breakfast was left speechless with Mia's demand.

He stood up and said, "XiXi, apologize to Mia right now."

XiXi snorted after hearing him, "Do you take me as your dog? I am not your servant or a dog whom you can boss over. Boss around your girlfriend, not me." XiXi replied plainly.

"How dare you to reply me like that?" Rong Chi bellowed at XiXi.

XiXi saw this egoistic man showing attitude to her for no reason, so she smirked and said, "What else can you do other than yelling and crying? Remember the haunted house incident. You were cr.."

"Shut Up XiXi." She was cut in the middle of the sentence by Rong Chi who was now huffing in anger.

"You shut up and take these two uninvited guests away with you." Li Mei was getting impatient with the commotion as she was really hungry and wanted to have breakfast peacefully.

"Why would we leave? We were invited by Rong Chi. And we know Yan Xuan won't bother with Tia's arrival. After all, they are close to each other. It's better if you leave."

Mo Hua was getting uncomfortable with all the chaos and flashback of her past along with the recent incident where Deng Tia left a kiss on Yan Xuan's cheek flashed in front of her eyes.

She was trying to control her thoughts from running haywire just not after seeing Deng Tia again sitting close to Yan Xuan. But when Mia said Yan Xuan and Deng Tia are close to each other, she felt sadness enveloping her heart. Her mood became sullen to the point of not recovering anytime soon.

Her mind was in mayhem and was noticed by two people who were sitting quietly observing her since the arrival of Deng Tia.

Xi Mian who was sitting next to Shen Tao was irritated by the chaos, "Shut up everyone."

With that, the room went quiet. No one made a sound.

"Goodone babe." Sheng Tao said proudly after observing that everyone was in control of his awesome girlfriend.

"You too close your mouth." Xi Mian glared at him.

Sheng Tao pouted his lips and thought inwardly, 'What did I do? I was just praising you, baby.'

Xi Mian knew Mo Hua was affected by Deng Tia's arrival, so after thinking for a moment, her eyes landed on Chen Liam and with a thoughtful gaze, she said, "Chen Liam we came to meet you as MoMo wanted to introduce you to us properly, but I think this place is getting too crowded and we are already getting late so let's catch up later. Okay?"

Chen Liam understood her intention, so he calmly said, "MoMo, let's go back." With that, he walked to her seat and lifted her arm.

"No need. Let's eat here." She glanced at Chen Liam with determination.

"But.." Chen Liam hesitated.

"Yes yes let's eat. Come Mia Baby have a seat." Rong Chi jumped in excitement seeing that things are getting sorted out.

"Oh, my bad. Chen Liam, you were in States as well right?" Sheng Tao tried to initiate conversation.

"Hmm." Chen Liam replied with no expression.

"That's great. Deng Tia is also coming back from States and joining us this year. Just in case if you know her.."

"I know her." Chen Liam replied plainly without even raising his head from the cellphone he was holding.

"Oh. Tia do you know him?" Rong Chi asked Deng Tia with curiosity.

Deng Tia sneaked a glance at Chen Lam and then sneered looking at Mo Hua and said, " I even know Mo Hua from long back. Right LITTLE MO?"

She stressed her name in the last which made everyone raise their eyebrows.

"Ohh. You are very close to them I assume as you are calling Mo Hua with her nickname." Rong Chi said in confusion.

'Am I missing something?' he asked himself.

"Indeed we are very close." Deng Tia smiled at Mo Hua. It was not a pure smile but a grin filled with hatred.
