Mo Hua understood the intention of Deng Tia's words. She knew Deng Tia was trying to provoke her to say something stupid, but unfortunately, Mo Hua was not the same girl from the past who used to fall for her tricks.

'Not anymore.' She thought to herself and smiled at Deng Tia.

"Ms. Tia, I remember clearly now. Weren't you the girl my best friend Chen Liam dumped a few years ago?" With that, she glanced at Deng Tia with vicious expression and continued, "There were rumors at that time that you were unfaithful to Liam. I remember you both suffered a lot due to that and feel bad for you guys."

Mo Hua's face turned sad and painful as if she was indeed feeling bad for them but she knew in her heart that those rumors were true. The saddest part was, she had tried to alert Chen Liam right when he got into a relationship with Deng Tia. But Chen Liam didn't trust Mo Hua as she didn't have proof.

Mo Hua had seen her kissing someone when Chen Liam had brought Deng Tia to visit his hometown and parents. She was even staying with that man in the hotel together for few days when Chen Liam was not around and had to go with his father for some business work. He had asked Mo Hua to accompany Deng Tia for those few days, but she didn't let Mo Hua keep her company as she had different plans.

Chen Liam knew that Deng Tia was not much fond of Mo Hua so he had asked Mo Hua to just keep aye on Deng Tia just in case if she gets in trouble as this city was unknown for her. He was worried about her.

When Mo Hua encountered Deng Tia doing adult stuff with some stranger, she confronted Deng Tia straightaway. Her confrontation backfired when Deng Tia cried in front of Chen Liam and accused Mo Hua of framing her in the wrong rumor. She even claimed that Mo Hua was jealous of her and Chen Liam's relationship and wanted to snatch him away from her.

Chen Liam was very surprised and when Mo Hua had no words to explain, he directly believed Deng Tia. That was his mistake which he still regrets and feels guilty towards Mo Hua.

He had a very bad fight with Mo Hua and broke their friendship just like that. Deng Tia was the love of his life and she was crying in his arms. His heart was aching and that's when he missed seeing the tears in Mo Hua's eyes. That day they parted their ways and it took almost 4 whole years to patch up with each other.

It was only when Chen Liam himself witnessed Deng Tia in arms of his University friend. They were in the isolated corner of the library kissing each other at the same time undressing each other as if no one existed around them.

As if it was not enough for him to make him angry, he had heard her confession,

'Pete, don't worry about Liam. He is not that smart. He won't leave me as I still remember he trust me the most more than himself. He even broke his years-long friendship with his best friend the last time when we were almost discovered by her. So don't worry let's continue.'

Chen Liam felt as his heart was breaking into millions of pieces and those glass shards pierced every single body part of him.

He didn't trust her. His best friend.

He went in the corner and caught the adulterous couple in the obscene act and slapped Deng Tia across her face and even reported to management for their deed.

Deng Tia and Pete were expelled from college and so after spending a few months hiding in States, she was back to continue her study here in Beijing.

Now when Mo Hua brought up those memories, Deng Tia's eyes turned frosty. She glared at her and wanted to slap Mo Hua. She raised her had to slap her when Chen Liam stood up and said, "Enough, MoMo, let's go back."

"Hmm. She nodded her head and got off from her seat."

"But the food is already ordered. Let's not waste money and food both. Will you MoMo?" Li Mei tried to negotiate with Mo Hua. She was hungry but these people were just fighting.

"Okay, Liam let's eat and leave immediately." Mo Hua agreed immediately. She was not miser but she hated the idea of wasting food and hard-earned money.

"Okay." Chen Liam sat down beside her.

Food was served. MoMo saw her favorite breakfast being served. It was salty steamed buns stuffed with ground pork, eggplant, chives, and eggs stuffing. It was accompanied by veg clear soup.

She squinted at Chen Liam, "Did you order this?"

"Of course. Who else would know your favorites better than me?" Chen Liam laughed with a smug look on his face. He was looking at Yan Xuan who was simply observing things around him noting eery detail. He knew there was more to the story of Chen Liam, Mo Hua, and Deng Tia. He was willing to wait till he gets all details before saying anything.

Deng Tia was thinking the opposite and so was Mo Hua and the rest. Everyone thought Yan Xuan was taking sides with Deng Tia and watching Mo Hua getting bullied by his friends.

"Xuan, here is your poached eggs and toast. I know they are your favorites so I ordered them for you. Let me cut it for you.." Deng Tia had a quick look at Mo Hua who was eating her breakfast silently and then moved closer to Yan Xuan to cut his toast.

"No need." Yan Xuan replied without any expressions on his face.

"Xuan. Don't be so formal. We have even shared food since childhood. Do you remember, When we both even shared a blanket?" Deng Tia said purposely to make Mo Hua jealous.

A spoon fell disturbing the calmness. It was Rong Chi. He shifted immediately in his seat embarrassingly. He was in utter shock after hearing Deng Tia.

"What? Yan Xuan, You and Deng Tia?" He uttered while picking up his spoon.
