Regress For Revenge

My whole body hurts it's not surprising after all, I lost an arm, and half of my body is covered in burns and countless scars but the worst of it, is that 3 of those bastards are still standing before me, how hilarious 3 of them are still standing and 3 things I hate are happening all at once. One, they are still alive after I promised myself to kill all of them. Two, I was on my knees and three, I hate to admit it, but I had lost.

"To think that a mere human would be able to inflict such a great amount of damage to our race.'' One of those bastards said.

Out of the seven kings, only three remained and even those three suffered lives altering damages at my hand, they will never be able to exert as much power as they did during our fight.

"You should be proud of yourself, after all, you are the last human remaining in all 5 realms and you are the only human to have reached such a threshold of power. Therefore, I've got an offer for you human."

"I've got a name you know, it's Noah and what could a Demon King possibly offer to a human, that killed 4 of the Demon Kings and permanently injured 3 of them, I obviously will lose or risk losing something in the process."

" hahahahaha, you are truly amusing. My offer is quite simple, give up your humanity and become a demon, with your power you can easily become a Demon King and one of the strongest beings to ever exist!"

I couldn't believe it, I had killed 4 of their Kings and he was standing before me, asking me to become one of them. This bastard really asked me to throw away my humanity in order to become one of them! I realized once more how infuriating that race was, they prioritize power over everything even their own brethren.

"As you can see Noah you've killed four of the seven Demon Kings and the three of us are gravely injured even though we won't die from these wounds, we won't be able to fight with our full power anymore. If you become a Demon King, you will be able to survive this, and the Demon race will gain a formidable ally. I will say this one last time, give up your humanity."

"Why do you need me with my death you will acquire the human realm, I'm the last human! You won the war SO WHY just why do you need more power?"

The demon smiled and then answered, "It's simple the war to acquire the human realm was never the end goal. We simply needed the human realm because it's in the middle of the five realms. By acquiring the human realm, we earned a way to access all the other realms, the human realm was but a steppingstone towards our true goal: Versomania."

Another war, these Batlle maniacs wanted another war, but this time a war that involved all realms, Versomania.

"You look intrigued. I guess if we want you to join our side it would only make sense to explain some things to you."

"Some things. So not everything huh?" I replied.

"If you want to know everything, you'll need to join us, but first..."

He extends his last hand towards me; his hand starts glowing "I'll continuously send Prana into your body, just enough so that you don't die."

As the Prana enters my body, I can feel that my life that was slowly fading away is getting invigored, not by much, but just enough so that I stay alive. My senses are returning but I can feel something inside me starting to break. "What is this feeling, I thought, something... something deep inside me is changing, no it's not changing, it's awakening! It's breaking from the shackles that were restraining it."

"Did you know, the demon started, a long time ago, the realms weren't separated every race lived together in one realm." He stopped and looked at me, "That's right Humans, Angels, Demons, Beasts, and even Gods all lived together in one realm."

"What! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE!" I couldn't believe what he said however he didn't seem to lie. So, I decided that it wouldn't hurt to hear the rest.

"If you're surprised by this, he said while snickering, I wonder how you'll react to..."

His snickering stopped; his expression changed, from a mocking to a serious one, and he looked at me closely. "hmmm..."

A big smile appears on his face, and he bursts out laughing. What's so funny, I thought, weren't we talking about something quite serious, and he suddenly starts laughing! These demons definitely have a few screws loose. But why did he laugh? Was he mocking me for believing such a story? But it seemed like he wasn't done with his story! Damn it, this is the problem with demons! But what is this? I can feel something deep inside me trying to break out. What the fuck is going on! I'm going crazy, damn it, too much stuff is happening at the same time!

" Something funny??? Mind letting me on it."

"Even if it's only a quarter, I can't believe you possess such hatred for your brethren! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I'm pretty sure you should be able to feel it, it's awakening! your demon blood is reacting to my Prana, and trying to break out of the seal it was imposed. However, it would be quite troublesome if it awakened as you can see we no longer have the strength to fight at our best, it would be impossible to stop you." He retracts his hand and it stops glowing, he decided to stop infusing me with his Prana.

"Wait! What are you talking about? Brethren? I don't possess demon blood! I never had it! What the fuck did you do to me?"

"It seems that that seal grows alongside you, in other words, you had the seal since birth there is no way you could have known you were a quarter of the blood that runs through your vein was demonic."

At that moment, I heard a voice. Not outside but inside my head.

"Tch! This guy is pathetic after so many years it's only now that the seal stars falling apart." The voice says.

And then another voice starts talking

"Don't be harsh on him there was no way for him to know about the seal that's why we prepared for this."

"WHO ARE YOU!" I yelled out.

The demon with one arm missing looks at me and with an amused tone says "Did the news shock you that much? So much that you're going crazy?

The first voice inside my head then says "I guess you can hear us now huh. Hey kid, do you regret this outcome?? If you do stop resisting and let the seal break you, fucking bastard."

"Will I survive if I do? I asked

The second voice answers "Kinda."

It doesn't matter there is no way I'm accepting this bastard offer so I guess I'm only left with this option. So I let it go and as soon as I did the seal broke energy started rushing inside my body but it quickly dissipated, no more like it was absorbed.

The two voices inside my head said an incomprehensible word in a language that I had never heard before and I passed out.

I slowly opened my eyes and in front of me was not the scorched and devasted land which the war created, no what was in front of me was a luxurious room just like the one in my childhood. I look left and right and I realize this is my room, the room which I used in my childhood. I get up and I rush to a mirror. What I see is the body of 8 years old child. long red hair with brown eyes and an incredibly handsome face.

"Regression is a special power that we can activate only once a power that bends the space-time continuum to send a person back in time. Both of the voices say.

This is the past! I went back to the past! I've got another chance at killing these bastards. The third son of the Arcadios family is back and this time I'll get revenge on all the bastards that pissed me and those that will piss me off and then ill kill the seven demon kings.
