Reviews of Pokemon: Animus

My take on a more realistic Pokémon World. Set 20 years post Red/Blue/Anime Season 1. All regions included, no cheat system or OP powers. MC is a plucky 30ish dude transmigrated amnesiac. No Harem, No sinister world threatening plot, just fun adventures from an overgrown kid. Kurt has some strange flavors of luck and Pokémon with equally strange personalities. There’re appearances from many familiar characters and everyone is straight out of the games or show. ‘So what is different?’ you might ask. Well for example, caught Pokémon don’t teleport. Evolution isn’t a cut scene with an epilepsy warning, and that level 2 pidgy aint flying your butt cross country. Story is moving from another site so after a round of fresh grammar checks I get some new content coming.

- Very good quality (not your usual qidian novel) - Nice grammar - Really like your combat style. A little bit hard to read at first, but it is a nice addition. - Generous and nice MC. I usually prefer greedy MC, but I still like it. - I like that you used not common Pokemon! - About the nicknames... it makes sense that everyone would name their pokemon, but if every trainer you introducce has 2-6 named pokemon and they're fighting named pokemon... it gets confusing when you're not binge-reading the novel -Please, make an auxiliary chapter with your MC's pokemon nicknames, moves, natura and ability... and specially his companion's pokemon. Thank you for the novel and keep writing! :)

Totally vibing eith this. A well made way to write a fanfic. A brand new character that gets to interact with characters that already exist. I ain’t a fan of isekai but still enjoy this.

This is the best story I'm reading on here. The MC is an ***** which is different from a lot of stories about pokemon. There is action and as well as lot of fun. For those who are familiar with the show or manga or game there are some familiar character.

Your story is a top quality high class Pokémon fanfic. I love it and I thank you for making it. It’s amazing and I can’t wait to read more. Nothing else needs to be said because the novel speaks for itself.

This really hit the spot for me. Although it was last updated two months ago. Hopefully author decides to come back to it soon! It needs a bit of cleaning up but otherwise a very fun story and very much to my taste; got a mature mc that isnt boring! Yes he can be a little childish but that’s what adults are like, and I especially like that he does not shy away from advancing a relationship which so many other authors seem to scared to even think about! Anyways, I might be biased since it just hit all the right spots for me and the fact that I got a lotta respect for Pokémon fanfic writers. Knowing so much of Pokémon and casually interesting it within a story so that it flows smoothly? That’s impressive. Not to mention you branch out and made your own adventure- doubly nice! The pirates were an especially fantastic add Also even more brownie points for giving so much love to our spooky friends, ghost Pokémon are slept on if they’re not of the ghastly line smh and you were especially creative with them!

I was enjoying it until i couldnt understand some of the accents you kept on using which started to make the story completely confusing [img=exp][img=exp][img=exp]

honestly the fan fic quality is high with the way it's written and wit the great battles but the only thing i dont like is how there are so many characters which creates a lot which gives mc less screen time but i think i get it since the story is bout the new generation and can't only include the mc so ya overall a good read in my opinion

I really like how the story is written and how much realistic the logic in it. I've always been bothered by how the evolution happens and now, here, we have it covered. At least, they don't just straight up transform when they evolve. Also I like the pacing and development of the story as well as the character design. Even characters like May and Dawn, I'm surprised I'm not finding disconnection from the them in the anime and the games. Over all, it is good fanfic to read

I dunno where to comment to see the update schedule but this book is all I have ever wanted to see as a fan-fic of Pokemon. I even wanted to do one but the thinking of actually implementing all the real-world logic is a lot but you make it work! It is amazing and I hope that you keep updating it until you finish! I have reread it twice and I may go back to read it again 😅. Keep up the good work!

I'm kind of confusing some of the parts of your book to be honest I like it really I really do like it I'm just confusing some of them from the parts I do I'm not curious is he going to gymsbattles or no like that other type of gyms

I would like to know what happens next on the phone chapter are you going to make more chapters or no Cause I hope you do make more chapters of this series
