Pillow of Hearts: A tale between the warm hug and cold coffee

Moon Young Jae’s homophobic family considered him a disgrace and held his freedom in their clutch. Even with being obedient, he was not free from their abuse. Young Jae was almost blinded and crippled by his father when he stood up for himself for the first time. Left to bleed and die, luckily, he did have a family who wanted to save him. It was twin cousins, who were disowned long before him, who saved him. Sad and hopeless, Young Jae became curious when he met his cousins’ friend, who understood him better than anyone, even without words. Curiosity got the best of him, and he ended by handing his heart, love and soul over a plater as a price. Slowly, Young Jae fell in love with everything about and around Min Jun and eventually fell for the man. Calculative Wang Min Jun entered Young Jae’s life accidentally. He challenged Young Jae's belief with a warm smile and flipped Young Jae’s world upside down. Min Jun read Young Jae like an open book. He planned to get over the little crush he had on his seniors' cousin brother but failed miserably. Min Jun did not like the often-visited ‘frown’ between those beautiful eyebrows and even the always singing of ‘sigh’ through those sinful lips. Min Jun made it his mission to change it only to fall for everything about Young Jae. Wang Min Jun carried his share of baggage, but he was well-prepared to meet the demons from the past head-on. But Young Jae became a mess whenever his past demons decided to pay a visit. He realised he did not have to face anything alone as he has a wonderful boyfriend who cherishes everything about him. Both faced their past demons and trauma together. When a person betrayed by a family fell in love with a person who holds his family above everything, sparks flew, and hearts soared in happiness. Will their story has a harmonious bell, or would it be a sea of misery? Teaser: Files were shattered all over Min Jun’s bed, and his laptop was placed on the bedside table. It chimed once in a while, indicating a new email for him to check. The work was piling more and more as he was diligently finishing it. Young Jae walked into his boyfriend’s bedroom to witness his handsome lover working hard. "Jun Jun! Are you busy?" Even though Young Jae did not want to disturb his lover, he knew he needed some help to impress his boss. "Never for you, love. Tell you what you need?" Min Jun did not lift his head from the file he was going through, but the warmth in his voice reached Young Jae's heart without fail. "Do you have a minute to help me in reviewing my monthly internship report? I have to present to our boss tomorrow morning." Young Jae pouted as he asked. Min Ju looked at his adorable tokki and smiled mischievously. "You are brave, asking your superior to help you sneakily. I can't do it for free. I need a huge bribe to help you. What are you planning to offer?" "Be serious. You have too much work to do." Young Jae chided his shameless boyfriend, who never failed to seize every opportunity to make him moan and groan as he takes him to the pleasurable heaven. "Exactly. I have too much work to do. If I am taking my time to help you, I need something in return. Something so tempting that I don’t mind cramping lots of things later." Min Jun smiled like a devil he was as he grabbed Young Jae towards him. The little rabbit who fell into the cunning wolf's lap did not even get a chance to protest as he was devoured breathlessly. Young Jae forgot why he entered the wolf's lair altogether. Min Jun pushed the files away to make space for his little rabbit to lay down comfortably. Young Jae’s report was long forgotten as a treacherous hand started to caress him again under the shirt as a sinful sound filled the room. The Garden Breeze - IV

Baby-doll was startled when she was Min Jun standing behind her. Judging from his look, she knew he heard her talk with BB. Her heart softened.

"I did not know that you can walk like a ghost?" she tried to sass him only for him engulf her in a big hug.

Her childhood was a thorn not only in her big brother's heart but on everyone who grew up with her. Min Jun was no exception. "I am sorry. I could not protect you back then."

Min Jun was hurt when he heard the words she spoke. His regrets were high. "I am sorry. I could not protect you back then."

She laughed out loud at his words. He was a child like her back then. Only a year older than her, and he was a stranger back then who was not even aware of her existence back then.

Even if he knew her, his ability to protect her against a fully grown man was questionable. "Oppa. You did not even know me back then. Above all, it was all for good. I got adopted, and now I have the best brothers in the world."

Min Jun reluctantly agreed. But he wanted to lighten up the mood not wanting to see his precious little baby-doll sad. "Tell me who the best brother is? Me or BB?"

Baby-doll gave a light slap on Min Jun's shoulder, but she was still thankful for his attempt to divert the topic away from this grimmy topic. "Don't be greedy. You have a long way to reach there."

Min Jun pouted, but playfulness was dancing in his eyes. "Brat!"

They walked in the garden in silence. Min Jun lost in the content of the call as he heard the entire phone conversation. Even though he was not sure of what Kang Chin Mae and BB spoke, guessing by her response, he had a vague understanding. He was not going to let anyone hurt Young Jae ever. Not even the so-called Moon family.

Finally, when they reached the place where daylilies were planted, Min Jun plucked the courage to say everything that happened in the morning. From Henry's drunk call to the self-promise, he made to Young Jae. The minutes ticked away, and he grew nervous over baby-doll's silence.

"Your decision with Henry was better for all the three of you. I support it. But I am concerned about your promise and intention towards Young Jae Oppa. Does he even like?" Finally hearing baby-doll's voice, he finally released a breathe he was holding without even realising it.

Min Jun answered her honestly. "Nope. I don't think so. Not yet."

Baby-doll raised her eyebrow at him. But she was happy that her Min Min Oppa was not arrogant and self-conceited enough to say that he charmed the man in 24-hours. "Then?"

"But I like him. I will woo him once we get back from Germany. I will make him feel loved and cherished. I have to show him how I can treat him better than anyone in the world. If he rejects me or already has a lover at that time, I will take a step back. I will not disturb him. Simple." Even though it hurt Min Jun when he said it, he knew that's how reality worked.

Even though there was a less possibility, Baby-doll couldn't help but place Min Jun on the other side. "What if you like someone else in this period?"

"I don't think so. Last time I liked someone was in school who turns out to be straight, and he fell in love with you. Like head over heels and I am pretty sure he is still stupidly in love with you." Min Jun teased her thinking about his first-ever crush. The sole reason for his friendship with Moon Chin Hae.

Baby-doll laughed at his words. Her face was filled with warmth and affectionate gaze just at the mention of her calm lover. But she diverted the mind back to the topic at hand. "Good old days! What if this is sympathy and not liking?"

"I know it is not sympathy. If it was, then time will definitely give us an answer. Don't you think?" Min Jun was not willing to talk further about this. He knew he had a soft spot for Young Jae, but it was not sympathy. He heard a happy chirping of birds by the side. He only looked at the direction to find the Japnese wagtail nest, happily chirping off with its lover and offsprings. An unknown smile grazed his lips.

"Nothing matters more than your happiness Oppa. If that happiness included Young Jae Oppa and not Henry, who am I to complain? But that doesn't mean I will sit back if you hurt any of them." She meant every word she said.

Min Jun was delighted that his little one approved of the guy he wants to chase even though it would happen in the future. He felt delighted as if he already had half of his family's blessing for their relationship just from her affirmation.

Min Jun wrapped his arm around her and held her tightly. That hug spoke millions of promises.

End of the Garden Breeze chapters. I still can't believe how two chapters I planned tuned out to be four.

Are you guys ready to say goodbye to Min Jun and Baby-doll in the next chapter? For a while, they might not make an appearance in the story.
