Chapter 1Prologue

"momma! momma! momma!" a little girl screamed. With her her little feet tapping on a well furnished floor, she ran to her mother.

"What is it dear?" her mother answered with concern laced in her voice. She was already worried about the fate of her daughter. The council felt threatened by her existence and had decided to exile her. Seeing her daughter running towards her, looking so scared made her feel so helpless.

"Sir Greenfield wants to kill me.... he wants to kill me..." the little girl was terribly frightened. She ran into her mother's arms.

"Calm down dear, no one will harm you while I'm here. " She was going to make sure of it. She did not like the idea of her little girl being in danger.

"But, he is...."

"Jane, I'm here. I won't let anyone hurt you. " She assured the little girl. It was more like a promise.

"Come let's have dinner. Rose prepared your favorite." The woman said happily to distract her daughter. "James, June and daddy is waiting for us."

That was the dream Eve kept having repeatedly for as long as she could remember. Her mum kept saying it was only a dream but it felt so real. Everytime she had those dreams, she would wake up feeling vulnerable and scared. She also could not dismiss the feeling of being watched. Like someone was out there in the dark watching her.

At first, she would have a panic attack after those dreams. But as the years passed, she got used to it. The panic attacks was now reduced to only a minor anxiety.

In her dreams, her mom would call her Jane, she knew it was her name. It was strange but her subconscious recognized it as her name.

But he was not alone. “Your Grace,” Soleia said, trying her best to maintain a calm tone, “welcome home. How were your travels?” The man remained silent as he stared at her. “Oh,” the woman that Soleia's husband had brought back said. “I was just wondering where the servants were. No one has come to greet you since your return. Could you please help us bring―” Orion tugged the woman back, protectively holding her in his embrace. His eyebrows furrowed as he glared at Soleia, his sudden action causing the woman to look confused at him. “Orion?” she asked, her hands on his chest to steady herself. “What’s the matter?” “That’s not a servant." In one swift motion, he threw the sword out at Soleia, only to be stopped by a flash of scarlet and the coppery scent of blood. *** Prequel to Stolen by the Rebel King.

Hellbound Heart

[WARNING: MATURE CONTENT] - Izabelle had underestimated the fire she thought she was going to play with tonight. But how could she ever have foreseen that the man she had happened to come across with does not play with just a small fire, but a whole inferno? ___ Excerpt: "You going through this marriage with me might as well be like you digging your own grave. Because the moment you start to want more from me, I will divorce you. And the moment you break your promise and try to fight me… I will ruin you and break you apart completely. Mercilessly. You will regret ever meeting this devil tonight." His threat was given in the same soft but cold voice. But Elle did not even flinch. Her gaze never faltered either. This man was ruthless, and she knew that clearly. His eyes that moment promised nightmares and darkness without any promise of respite. But no matter what he says now, it would still not change her decision. She truly had no other choice. "I understand now…" she said quietly, steeling herself. "Since you don't trust that I will keep my word, how about we do this? You prepare the divorce documents beforehand now and I'll sign it. That way, once you decide to divorce me in the future, the papers would already have been signed and there would be no way I can trouble you about it. You would just need to send it to the lawyers and have it notarized." A heavy silence reigned before his quiet disbelieving laugh broke the silence. "I'm at a loss for words, Princess Izabelle." He looked wickedly amused. But then he started nodding in approval. "Fine, princess. I will marry you." ___ Instagram account: kazzenlx.x facebook page: author_kazzenlx Discord server: https://discord.gg/UGTA3A4 Cover is mine so don't use it.
