Comments of chapter undefined of Hell's Eternal (Dropped)

I'm ngl I know he is meant to be a bit unhinged but these crazy moments aren't rly crazy if that makes sense? They just seem weird af and out of place. Like these past two chapters have rly shown through on this. I dunno what happened but it seems like a completely different mc

Yeah, I get the whole playing insane deal to confuse third parties but this really killed the mc "cool" factor. Up to this point it was intelligent and pratical thinking and now it's just plain stupid. Why would someone at his power level have to resort to these tactics when having a good reputation and standing has more benefits in terms of reliability and confidence. Now whever he would want to ally with the ancient one or Asgard they would have this as their first impression which is super awkward and moronic. You could've just had a two chapter fight scene basically cleaning up mephisto and draining all the value he can hold to then move on and lay your plans for the MCU. It feels like a completely odd direction to go down this route.
