Last holiday season, I was in a store when a little girl was begging her mom for a toy. Her mom said no, so the girl put on a pair of reindeer antlers and started dancing around the toy, saying she was a magical reindeer who needed that toy to fly. It was so cute and funny that the mom finally gave in.

Sure. I was shopping for Thanksgiving once and there was a special on huge turkey - shaped pillows. This one woman was so excited about them that she started hugging all the pillows in the display. She looked like she was being attacked by a flock of giant turkeys. It was really funny.

I had a horrible experience during holiday shopping at a local store. There was a long line at the checkout, and only two cashiers were working. As I was waiting, the person in front of me had some issues with their payment method. It took forever to resolve, and the cashier was getting frustrated. Meanwhile, my frozen items in my cart were starting to thaw. By the time it was my turn, I was so annoyed. And then, the cashier accidentally overcharged me for one of the items. It was just a mess.

The most common holiday shopping horror stories often involve bad customer service. For example, clerks who are rude or unhelpful. You might ask for assistance finding an item, and they just shrug or give you wrong directions. Also, receiving damaged goods is a problem. You buy something, excited to give it as a gift, and when you open the package at home, it's broken. And then there are issues with returns, like stores having a really strict return policy that makes it difficult to get your money back.

Last New Year's Eve, we were having a party at home. I was in charge of the fireworks. I lit one up and it started spinning out of control. It flew into a pile of dry leaves in the yard and set them on fire. We had to quickly put out the fire. It was a chaotic and funny start to the New Year.

One typical shopping funny story is when people misjudge the size of something. Like buying a huge piece of furniture without measuring the space at home first. Then they struggle to fit it through the door or find a place for it. It's really funny to see them trying to figure out what to do.

Once, I saw a man trying on a huge, furry hat in a shopping centre. He looked like a yeti and started doing a little dance in front of the mirror. Everyone around was laughing.

Once I ordered a 'large' sweater. When it arrived, it was so huge that it could fit three of me! It was more like a tent than a sweater. I took a picture of myself drowning in it and sent it to the seller. They were so amused that they offered me a discount on my next purchase.

I went Christmas shopping with my friend. We were looking at ornaments and she accidentally knocked over a whole display. Ornaments were rolling all over the floor. She was so embarrassed but we couldn't stop laughing as we tried to pick them all up. There were other shoppers helping us while laughing too.

During my holiday travel to Paris, I was at the Eiffel Tower. I wanted to take a really cool selfie. So, I set my camera on a timer and ran to pose. But just as the camera was about to click, a guy on a bicycle rode right in front of me. The photo was of me looking shocked and the cyclist looking confused. It's still one of my funniest travel memories.
