Despite this insane level of bullshittery, I decided to stay with the family, after all Carlisle is my brother, I cannot imagine leaving him alone to deal with all the problems.

The 'real' problematic issues started after more and more people joined the coven, unlike all the others, I wasn't a vegetarian!

It started slowly, but they slowly began ostracizing me, thinking that I am weak willed, that I am a savage, that I am a bad influence on her children like the other vampires!

I did not say anything even when I could read all their minds, I wasn't all that bothered.

To me, they're all just extended family, only Carlisle is my brother, and Edward is the whiny edgy nephew that no-one likes.

I thought they'd get used to it but as apparent from my anger they're not getting used, to it at all, instead that ungrateful bitch Edward is crying how I am not even trying to integrate myself.

Further, encouraging them to push me away, and all of this after I cleaned up after his ungrateful arse for years.

I can read their damn thought's, I know they think extremely rude things, but I try to reason that what people think in anger is not a reflection of their true selves, so, I am not holding it against them.

But their condescending attitude is pushing my limits, and as it is in my nature I am pushing back, and today, things just went too far.

'I don't like him one bit, he is more like a machine than a human.': I thought for the millionth time.

After the embrace, I felt lost, and out of place, I could not bring my former self and my vampire self together, mainly because I was weak willed.

On the one hand, I was just a 17-year-old that suddenly needed to feast on blood, and stay away from the sun, and on the other I was a bloodthirsty beast that could hear the inner thoughts of his prey.

No one was above or beyond me, I was aware of all their thoughts, I know what they want to hear, I know what they fear, and all I have to do is use words to control the flow.

It worked with Carlisle, it worked with everyone I encountered, only my 'uncle', is exempt from me, and the arsehole uses this to beat me up in a fight!

If I could read his mind, he would not stand a chance against me, damn it.

He was my babysitter for year's, whenever I wanted to escape for a bit, just to enjoy myself for a bit the idiot followed me, always observing me like an eagle.

I eventually managed to leave for a few years, I killed, killed some more, and I let loose, and then I returned home.

That was when I met uncle's eyes, and sure I cannot read his thoughts, but I can understand the sight he gave me.
