The only reasonable person who understood that siring too may vampire's in such a short time, will have dire consequences, was Carlisle.

You see, vampires need extremely large territories, so that the number of missing people inside their territories stays relatively low, while also widely spread out.

But if a coven creates more Vampires, these vampires need to feast, so the number of cases climbs higher, resulting in humans getting curious, and human curiosity never bodes well for anyone.

Higher numbers of deaths will attract hunters, and when hunters start going missing, upgrades the bullshit level to Shadowhunters-bullshit-level difficulty.

This only ever ends in either of two ways, number one we kill them over and over for all eternity, and eventually end up on a 'kill-on-sight-list', or number two we die because they managed to catch us off guard.

Well, technically we die either way this scenario goes, the only difference is about the duration it takes for us to bite the dust.

Though, while I am aware of this, and Carlisle is aware of this, the other idiots are not, and they don't show the necessary amount of caution that they should, especially the edge lord.

Despite him repeatedly getting beaten up by me in our spars, he assumes that the reason for his losses are either [bad luck] on his part, [good luck] on my part, or because he cannot read my thoughts.

Carlisle keeps explaining to me that Edward is just a kid and that he will grow out of this phase, but first, I was never like that, and second, the dude is around 60 years old.

I never behaved like an idiot, and Carlisle knows this, so when I said this to him, he remarked that I am somewhat of an oddity and not normal.

Anyway, the main issue is not just Carlisle's irresponsible siring-habits, nah, the real issue is that he/we did not have the time needed to actually educate his spawns about the dangers of our world.

I like Esme much better than compared to Edward, but she isn't all that much of a brain, and she's just a normal vampire nothing special about her, well, except her loveable personality.

Compared to Edward, she is so much more mature even when she is half his age for now, but even she does not understand the nightmares that live in our world.

Now visualize sending this loveable person to a war zone, filled with degenerates, murderers, and thieves, this is what Carlisle is basically doing by spamming children, I never thought of him as irresponsible, but he proved me wrong.

I have seen the hunters in action, I have killed my fair share of Were beasts, and I have encountered countless immortal arseholes in the 150+ years of my life. I did not seek them out, I did not approach them, but I encountered them, and I strayed away from them because of their self-destructive perception of the world.

Despite this insane level of bullshittery, I decided to stay with the family, after all Carlisle is my brother, I cannot imagine leaving him alone to deal with all the problems.
