Chapter 56: The Three Beasts

(3rd Person: POV)

As the battle between the Thanatos Pirates and Gion's force went into full force the marines soon realized just how outmatched they were.

Even as Gion battled against Roberts and Alfia terro-fought against several marines, who just so happened to hurl insults as Roberts earlier that pissed her off immensely, the other Thanatos Pirates had no issues handling the marines that came at them.

"Shit, who the fuck are these guys?!"

"I thought they were just rookie pirates, but there strength is no joke."

"Even so we must defeat them as quickly as possible. Big sis Gion needs our support!"

Despite losing the female marines were far from giving up. In fact as the battle continued their conviction to stop the Thanatos pirates only strengthened.

Seeing this Rean sighed.

Mainly because he didn't like needless bloodshed.

However that doesn't mean he is about to lay down his weapon. He will continue to fight on. Not only to protect himself but to protect his crewmates as well.

Raising Yakou Rean deflected another bullet fired at him.

He then rushed toward the female marine who shot at him, intending to cut her down.

But just before Rean could reach her a loud crash took place.

*Crash!*

Hearing this noise everyone in the vicinity stopped and turned in its direction. From the female marines to the Thanatos Pirates.

In doing so they saw the crash was caused by the door to the lower decks of the marine ship flying and hitting the upper deck. The door having been kicked open and the hinges securing it not being able to withstand the force of the impact.

Out of the now door-less entrance to the lower deck walked three people.

Three woman to be exact. Marines, whose auras were different from the other female marines on board.

The first female had short dark-blue hair that stopped just above her shoulders. Just like Alfia she has heterochromia of the eyes. Her left being a scarlet red, while her right is a deep blue.

The second female has tan-skin and has long curly dark-brown hair that flows all the way down to her butt. Her eye color is deep green.

The third and final female has long straight dark-green hair and light purple-colored eyes.

The names of these female marines are Apacci, Mila Rose, and finally Sung-Sun.

All three hold the rank of marine captain, and are collectively known as the Three Beasts.

Seeing the Three Beasts appear the female marines got even more spirited.

"Looks it's big sisters Apacci, Mila Rose, and Sung-Sun."

"With them on our side we can't lose!"

"We're saved!"

"Time to show these pirates what justice truly is!"

Seeing how the female marines reacted to the appearance of the three female marine captains the Thanatos Pirates put up their guards even further.

Just as they did so the Three Beasts began glaring at them angrily.

"Fucking pirates so you think you can attack us and get away with it!" Apacci shouted.

"You must have a death wish." Mila Rose spat. She then grinned savagely. "Alright then, we'll make your wish come true."

"How foolish of you newcomers to assault our vessel. Once we capture you use your time in prison to repent for your foolish actions." Sung-Sun spoke haughtily.

Then before the Thanatos pirates could reply the Three Beasts sprung into action.

Each of them used Soru and appeared before a target, their respective weapons in their hands.

Swinging down her claymore sword Mila Rose moved to cut Rean in half, but he brought Yakou up and blocked her attack. Their blades generating a minor shockwave as they clashed.

Appearing in front of Reiju Apacci did not use her bladed chakram blades to attack and instead unleashed a kick with her left foot. Which Reiju easily blocked using a kick from her own left foot.

Faced with Sung-Sun appearing in front of him and trying to stop him with the two Sai blades she wielded Weisz jumped back, avoiding her attack. Pointing his shotgun Punisher in her direction after he did so.

Three separate battles had begun.

Leaving Bepo all alone to face the remaining female marines.

"Oh, look at how cute that bear is."

"Even so, it is still a pirate. We need to deal with it.

"But I just can't kill something that cute."

"Then how about we capture it and make it our official mascot instead.

"Yes. Capture the bear!"

Hearing the female marines talk about him made Bepo happy, but he suddenly felt afraid when they all started staring at him with a strange look in their eyes.

The moment Bepo saw this he started running away.

"After it!"

The female marines getting ready to give chase after he did so.

But before they could multiple arms sprouted on the female marines bodies and stopped them in their tracks Courtesy of Robin.

Now that she has access to observation haki she can perform her attacks even if her opponent is not directly in her line of sight.

[Dos Fleur: Clutch]

Robin softly spoke from the deck of the Black Pearl.

The moment she did so the arms she created with her devil fruit abilities on the bodies of the female marines aboard the marine ship snapped their necks, killing several of them instantly.

As the dead bodies fell to the deck Robin's arms that had sprouted on them vanished without a trace.
