Chapter 55: Grand Line Debut Battle
A/N: Ok guys, thanks for being faithful fans of my story. I really appreciate it. The power stones are awesome, and we are so close to breaking into the 100 rank on webnovel. So if you help me out I will post three chapters in one day.
Since I love this story and want to see it through to the end.
Also all you haters who say I never finish a story can F off. There are plenty of writers on webnovel who stop stories cold just like me. Sure, I may change my stories butt that's just me.

Anyway without further ado the chapter.

(3rd Person: POV)
Seeing the marine warship incoming the Thanatos Pirates sailed toward it instead of away from it.
Per Roberts orders.
He wanted to get stronger, and he wanted his crewmates to get stronger as well.
So he made the decision to head for the marine ship and do battle with the people aboard it, since he could tell several strong individuals were present on it thanks to his observation haki.
The same with his crewmates.
Who were all prepared for battle.
Meanwhile onboard the marine ship a woman was standing at the front of the deck. A cold glare on her face, trained directly at the Black Pearl.
This woman is dressed in a marine uniform, but it is altered in several ways. She has dark hair which is pulled back in a bun-shape with two strands framing her face. Her eyes are a hot-pink and she has a beauty mark on the right side of her chin. She is also sporting a spider tattoo on her left thigh.
On her shoulders is a marine justice coat, and the markings on it signify her rank as that of a Commodore.
This woman is none other than Gion. A character featured in the original One Piece story.
Having just finished up a month long patrol in this part of the Grand Line Gion and her crew were now heading for the nearest local marine base for some rest and relaxation.
However in route they spotted the Black Pearl, and Gion immediately made the decision to go after the Thanatos Pirates. Her crew following right behind her.
Seeing the Black Pearl sailing towards her ship Gion drew her meito Konpira and pointed the blades tip in the direction of the approaching Black Pearl.
"These pirates think they can destroy us, let's show them they are wrong!" Gion shouted.
"Yes, big sis Gion!" The marines on board the marine vessel shouted in unison.
As to why they all called Gion big sis, it is because all the marines on the warship Gion is currently commanding are female.
Since just like vice-admiral Tsuru Gion is an advocate of more women in the marine ranks and is a trailblazer in making said wish into a reality.
Hearing the response of the female marines under her command Gion put a smile on her face.
Though that smile vanished a second later as several flying slash attacks came from the direction of the Black Pearl and struck Gion's warship, damaging it.
As this happened the Black Pearl sailed closer and closer.
Then once it was close enough Roberts crossed over to the deck of the marine warship using Geppo.
Rean, Weisz, Reiju, and Bepo following right behind him.
Meanwhile Alfia followed them in the air after she transformed into her siren-human hybrid form.
As for Law and Robin they remained aboard the Black Pearl. To guard it from enemy attack. As well as provide long-range support since their devil fruit powers worked well in that regard.
As Roberts and his crewmates who used Geppo landed on the deck of the marine ship they drew their weapons and then began surverying the area.
When they did so Roberts gaze immediately landed on Gion.
The moment after he did so a small smirk formed on his face.
'Looks like my intuition was right. There was a strong individual aboard this marine ship. But to think we would encounter Gion of all people. My lucky day.' Roberts thought.
Since he remembered from his previous life's memories that in the next decade Gion would be considered as a candidate for a marine admiral position.
Which is by no means an easy feat.
Thus Roberts knew she was strong, and with such a strong opponent in front of him his battle maniac tendencies were starting to emerge.
When Roberts and his crewmates landed on the deck of her ship Gion immediately set her sights on them. Pointing her tip of Konpira in their direction she gave out an order to the marines under her command. "Attack. Destroy those pirates!"
"Yes, big sis Gion!" The female marines shouted in unsion.
They then prepared to attack the Thanatos Pirates.
But before they could do so Roberts used [Siphon] on several of the female marines and absorbed their vitality. Thus stopping them in their tracks.
Then immediately after Roberts did this he pulled a flintlock pistol free from a holster he kept situated in his right side and aimed at the female marines he just incapacitated, pulling the trigger without any hesitation.
One by one Roberts shot the female marines he absorbed vitality from straight through the head.
"You bastard!" Gion shouted.
Screaming at the top of her lungs she used Soru to close the distance to Roberts, Konpira raised over her head.
As Gion swung her sword down Roberts quickly grabbed the handle of Dragon Fang with his free left hand and pulled it from its sheathe. Bringing his blade up he blocked Gion's attack. As the two meito clashed against each other Roberts smirk turned into a full-blown grin, meanwhile Gion got even angrier after seeing the grin on Roberts' face appear.
"I'll kill you!" Gion shouted.
"You can try, but unfortunately I don't plan on dying anytime soon." Roberts replied.
He then aimed his pistol at Gion and pulled the trigger.
But thanks to her observation haki Gion was able to jump back and dodge the bullet before it hit her.
Though immediately after Gion did this Roberts rushed at her and delivered a kick to her stomach with his right foot, sending her flying across deck.
Seeing Gion hurt the female marines began direction a massive amount of anger towards Roberts.
"Filthy pirate, how dare you hurt big sis Gion!"
"Bastard, have you no shame!"
"Just die you disgusting pirate!"
The female marines hurled insult after insult at Roberts but he simply tuned them out.
Namely for two reasons.
The first is that the people shouting at him were marines, and they signed up to risk their lives and possibly get killed by pirates like him.
The second reason is that Roberts is a faithful follower of Lord Kazuma's teaching of gender equality. His attacks are rated E for everyone. No matter if that person is a female marine or not.
As the insults continued Gion picked herself up off the kick and pointed her gaze at Roberts.
Who is still grinning like before.
"Damn pirate, prepare to die!" Gion shouted.
She then rushed at Roberts, Konpira at the ready.
Holstering his pistol Roberts gripped Dragon Fang with two hands just as Gion arrived at his position.
Once she did so the two of them started clashing blades.
Seeing this the female marines started to move to help Gion.
Only to stop in their tracks when they felt a massive amount of blood lust being released and directed at them.
"Fufufu, so you bitches think you can simply insult Roberts and get away with it do you?" A sickeningly sweet and disturbingly calm voice asked the female marines from above.
It belongs to Alfia who is smiling. Yet that smile isn't reaching her eyes in the slightest. Not only that but she has two of her daggers in her hands.
"That, wont' do at all." Alfia spoke in the same calm and sweet voice.
This scared the female marines beyond belief.
As for the other members of the Thanatos pirates they simply pretended not to see anything, and even silently wished those female marines luck.
They knew they were going to need it to survive Alfia after all. Especially after they so blatantly insulted Roberts.
As Alfia moved to start her rampage, the other members of the Thanatos pirates moved to deal with the other marines aboard the warship.
While Roberts handled Gion by himself.
Bringing the battle between Roberts crew and Gion's forces into full swing.
