Killua Zoldyck in MHA

The last thing he expected after being cornered by his family members was for Alluka to teleport him to a new world. Now the assassin is stuck inside strange world where people have weird powers called ... Quirks? Release schedule might be pretty messed up as I try to find time between school and sports. Updates will typically be on weekends with maybe 1-2 throughout the week or more if I’m not too busy. Chapter average is 2000 but might go over or under slightly. Inspiration and some ideas from Dr.Writer21 for My Hunter Academia on FF.net so I recommend you check it out. Real good story, but author stopped updating. Not everything will line up, so don’t get all offended if I butcher the plot. Events will turn out very different most likely in different orders so just mark it up to his interference changing the timeline. AU take on many parts, but I will keep most of the plot lines along with it. He will be very op since power levels of hxh are above most hero’s and I’m not going to nerf, so don’t expect some desperate come from behind victory for a fight. Might be a bit dark at some parts since most people forget behind that cheery kid, is a childhood pretty much filled with torture both physical and mental. Nothing else to say so don’t take too seriously, and Enjoy Killua being badass in the world of heroes. Cover by EDIPTUS on deviant art *I own nothing

Chapter 6- Entrance exam

.

He raced up the street at a quick pace moving a couple meters with every step as he raced up the street. Passerby's only assumes he had some sort of speed quirk paying him little mind as long as he didn't come close to hitting anyone.

Whenever he had to go downhill he would simply speed down on his skateboard as he quickly made his way over.

He made it on campus speeding past the dorms nearby hands in his pockets lazily riding towards the gate.

Brown haired kid walking on the sidewalk: Look at this asshole, he obviously isn't taking this seriously" he complained

Buff stocky dude to his side: "Probably applied as a joke. Look at him, he looks really weak"

Killua only rolled his eyes hearing this. Insecure people like this do everything to make themselves feel better.

He hopped the curb rolling through the gate and much to his amusement, he noticed Midoriya stuttering like crazy with his entire face red as he talked to a cute brown haired girl. 'You'd think he would be a little more confident after 10 months of hard training with the number 1 hero' he thought shaking his head

A steady stream of students filtered into the auditorium and hero present Mic explained what was going to happen.

To sum it up, it was a simple mock battle with robots worth a varying number of points based on their difficulty. They divided the group and Killua simply went with the flow moving with his group in what looked to be a city, but it was pretty damaged obviously used as a training ground quite often.

"K-Killua is that you" came a hesitant voice behind him *Sigh he turned around "Yes Deku"

"Oh I almost didn't see you with that skateboard" he said awkwardly "Yep" Killua responded rolling over to get behind the starting line as he rested his arms on top of his head lazily

"D-Don't you think y-you shouldn't bring a skateboard so casually to the entrance exam?" he said looking around nervously like Killua was going to get in trouble

He only shrugged "Never said we couldn't bring anything" he spoke gesturing to a few around who brought support items before he spotted a certain someone storming over

"Oii What The Hell Are You Two Extras Doing?" exclaimed an aggressive voice which was naturally Bakugo

"W-Well-" MIdoriya began stuttering like he had to explain, while Killua just ignored this.

Bakugo used to this, simply focused on Midoriya "Why did you even bother to show up? Did you manifest a quirk out of thin air or something because otherwise I don't see where you get your confidence" he said with an arrogant smirk

"Well Actually-"

"AND GO!" he was cut off by the sudden voice of Present Mic shocking most of the students around who expected some sort of countdown.

Unfazed by this, Killua simply pushed off at a quick pace down the road. In front of him, a pretty large robot with a bright number two pained in red on the side which likely meant it was two points. In a smooth motion he flipped the board up under his arm.

He coated his fist in a bright electricity before he jumped up with a small leap smashing it into the side of its head. The robot that was only like 6 meters tall in the first place, was thrown aside completely crumpled at the core "Damn these things are satisfying to beat up!" he exclaimed looking for another. The innate feeling of destroying something that is large and expensive would never get old and the satisfying sounds it made when he smashed it apart made it like an over sized piece of bubble wrap. He didn't really need to use Nen at all, but It was mostly for show. It would be weird if he just easily destroyed them all without using electricity like he put for his quirk.

He looked around noting multiple quirks with interest. Across the street, this kids hands spun like a drill as he flitted around a one pointer damaging it at multiple places as he wore it down. Another guy close by, used a powerful looking tail to boost his mobility, as well as using it as a weapon as he whirled around bashing it against the robot knocking it back with a huge dent as he battered the thing.

Killua continued on mostly using this chance to do watch other people since he was very interested in many of the unique quirks these hero applicants had

"ROUDO ROURAA DA!!!!!"

'Wow, that blond haired kid over there has a really interesting ability too...Looks quite strong' he thought intrigued before moving away to look for other chances to get points

He ran through the alleyways inside the mock city before coming upon a bright three pointer that was fighting with a student. The guy seemed to be struggling as he ducked a blow from the solid metal arm. He tried to dash in to prevent him from behind hit by wide sweeping blows, but it shot out a rocket exploding at his feet.

The rocket was more stunning than it was destructive, and it sent the guy crashing into a wall with some blood coming out his mouth, but he wasn't too seriously injured. The robot seemed like it was going to give chase, but a small bolt of lightning quickly crossing the clearing hitting it right in the center of the head causing the glowing red eyes to flicker out.

Killua looked in satisfaction at his smoking hand 'Although it was hard since I don't have as good as an affinity, through training, I can now use my electricity for ranged attacks although it is still not that strong' he thought looking towards the form of the boy lying against the wall

A sudden thought came to him. Why would the entrance exam for a hero academy only be based off of beating up monsters? There is likely some hidden agenda they are looking for" he thought

While not too dangerous, the robots could still pack quite a punch causing bruises, concussions and even broken bones for an unlucky few. Helping the others may be a special trait they are looking for he thought as he spent the next few minutes dashing around the city smashing apart the robots left and right helping a few people who were struggling

He didn't go too overboard though he thought making it near the center of the fake city where the large open space seemed to have the most robots, and humans fighting. Finally, all the robots were gone as he stood around close to the middle with a few others who looked at each other weirdly not sure what to do next

<In a dark room filled with computer screens>

"As you can see, the examinees have no idea how many villains there are, or where they are. They have limited time and must cross a large area as they aim to take out the robots. Some use sensory abilities to plan out their attacks, while others use speed and power to sweep the competition." he paused "Remaining calm under pressure is an advantage along with pure power and ability of an individual.

The most successful will use all of the above." An animal who looked to be a mix of a dog and a mouse finished as the monitors switched between a wide variety of applicants currently fighting in the trial

"We have quite the collection of talent if I do say myself" came a seductive feminine tone that could captivate an individual just from the sound alone

"Especially these two" she added clicking a button as two of the bigger screens lit up in high resolution.

The one on the left showed a white-haired boy carrying a skateboard as he coasted down the street. Running right into a large 2 pointer that turned to face him moving its metal arms dangerously.

Not showing any hesitation, he jumped up 2 meters with barely any buildup smashing his electricity covered heel in a vicious axe kick that smashed into the robot. On the right monitor, it showed a blond haired boy flying through the air as explosions propelled him toward a 1 pointer . Before thing could even react, an explosion almost completely destroyed it as fragments shot out from the site of impact.

"Indeed" came a much deeper male voice to the side "Many talented people so far, but the true test is yet to come-How you will act when facing someone a lot stronger than you.

"Are you stealing my kills f*ckers" screamed Bakugo to no one in particular after he noticed there were no robots left

A sophisticated looking guy with glasses frowned at Bakugo "It is on a first come first serve basis, if you didn't get enough, it is your fault alone" he spoke pushing his glasses higher up his nose before turning around likely to explore other areas.

"Stay out of my way" Bakugo growled moving in another direction. At least 50 others were in the large area, and many others filtered in nearby looking around at the broken robots with annoyance. It seemed people who had been exploring the outskirts had naturally deviated inside.

Killua was pretty content with what he got, so he just sat on his skateboard waiting for this farce of an examination to end 'Many die in the Hunter examination, and in the end, only a few will pass" Naturally, those who come out of it are true fighters with the skills to survive along with the mindset to match it even if they don't yet know Nen. Much different than a bunch of school children trying to play hero he observed watching one kid crying nearby as he held a broken finger.

Not really their fault though, naturally in a much safer world, there isn't a sense of urgency or a real drive for them. Many of these quirks had a very high potential for strength, but most of the people here had lived a relatively easy life. Sure they trained a lot and worked on controlling their quirks, but they had it pretty easy compared to the struggle for power back home, much less his case where he was forced from a young age.

Over to the side, he noticed Midoriya running into the square hurriedly in a panic. His face dropped as he took in the smoking forms of the robots long since destroyed. He watched this curiously since he remembered back on the beach, he had apparently been training his body to accept some quirk. From the looks of things however, it didn't seem to be going quite well since the boy looked like he was about to cry as he looked around with a mix of confuscion and sadness.

Suddenly a loud alarm rang out as a few warning lights flashed. Everyone backed away hastily as it felt like the earth itself was moving as rubble flew everywhere. the entire city shook as Killua looked up in astonishment to see a giant robot towering over 40 meters looking over the group of students

"Holy Shit I want to fight that so bad....." he started fantasizing, but that would probably be a bit too overboard" Killua reminded himself Chunks of rock and rubble flew around taking out many people who couldn't even resist "Yikes, they definitely have a bunch of healing quirk users nearby if they are this confident.

In particular, one brown haired girl had been knocked aside as a small pile of rubble gathered on her leg. She couldn't free her leg, and she looked over her shoulder with some panic in her face as she saw the giant thing approaching. She had a look of concentration as she would touch 1 chunk of rock at a time moving it away as it levitated through the air. Using Gyo to see the quirk usage, it looked like she was encasing the rocks with her energy and forcing them to levitate although it looked quite tiring to keep it up, and she began gasping tiredly likely due to over-usage.

Killua looked on at this scene disinterestedly. They are naturally controlling the giant 0 pointer, I doubt they are going to just curb stomp her while she's down. 'Hmm, I might just jump in for more credit by clearing rubble away, and leave the robot to it's own devices. 'It isn't even worth anything so why should I draw the extra attention?

Besides, It's moving over at like 5 mph I really doubt that anyone else is stupid enou-" the entire ground cracked as a earthquake shook the entire city

"I won't let anything happen to you!" a green blur shouted stomping the ground as he instantly shot into the sky a face full of determination like the fate of the world was on his shoulders

Rearing his arm back, he punched forward completely shattering the bucket of bolts throwing the giant robot over an entire building sending glass and rubble everywhere as everyone fell into a mute silence

'I stand corrected...'

Kinda wanted to skip entrance exam since it is overused and typically quite boring, but it would probably sound stupid if I was just like "He passed the entrance exam easily, Time to go to class!" Anyway, if you haven't noticed yet their is a slight midoriya bashing. It won't be too bad since he grows a lot as the series progresses into a pretty badass guy especially in the manga, but even you die-hard Midoriya fans gotta admit he is pretty annoying in the start.
