Chapter 175 : Quarrell

After making the necessary arrangements, the group was ready to explore the island in the afternoon.

Alex, Elizabeth, Will, and Jack left with some crew members to explore. Gibbs was left behind on shore to watch over the crew and ship.

The group entered the forest with Alex as the lead. As they ventured deeper and deeper into the forest, the forest was filled with many poisonous insects. There were many traps and pits hidden among the leaves and branches of the trees.

After an hour

The group stopped at a spot to take rest, away from the poisonous insects and hidden traps. They were exhausted from walking for so long and needed a break before continuing their journey

"What the hell this island is filled with nothing but traps "

"I didn't see anyone. However, I saw many pitfalls and traps "said Jack complaining

"Alex, say it are there really treasures on this island? "

"And where the hell did that table come from?" shouted Jack as he saw Alex was eating lunch with Elizabeth.

At that time Alex was enjoying coffee and lunch with Elizabeth. He took out a table and many food items and sat with Elizabeth to eat.

"It is nothing big, come and eat Jack or do you want to eat those?" Alex asked as he pointed at the food, while the crew were eating which was only bread.

"No I want what you are eating," said Jack.

"Come and eat, we have plenty"

"Will you also join?" said Alex

Jack and Will also joined and started eating.

"Hey, Alex why did you come to this island? "

"As I know you are not interested in treasures "

"What made you come all this way?" asked Jack. Since he had travelled with Alex for four years he knew Alex was not interested in money and treasures.

He rarely shows interest in things, so this is the first time he has noticed Alex concentrating on something.

Hearing that Alex stopped eating and looked at Jack who was sitting in front of him.

"You are right,I came to this island for another purpose," said Alex

"What is that?"

"Don't ask about it Jack. He came here to meet the woman he saw in his dreams " said Elizabeth with some jealousy, who was sitting beside Alex.

In an utterly unbelievable expression, Will asked, "What brought you this far to meet a woman that you saw in your dreams?"

"Alex, are you okay? Did you have some health problems?" asked Jack with a fake concerned expression.

"I am healthy and don't have any problems."

"Then why did you come so far for a woman?" asked Elizabeth.

"Elizabeth, this is not time for this,I already explained, "said Alex trying to calm Elizabeth,who is filled with jealousy

"But I always feel like there is another motive," said Elizabeth as she narrowed her gaze.

"Nope, I just came here to meet out of curiosity. I have no other motives "said Alex, this time he has no other motive except meeting the goddess of this world.

At first, he became interested since he thought there is a chance that system fragment is present here. He didn't find anything, so he simply decided to meet the goddess since he had already come here.

"I don't believe you? " Said Elizabeth

"Did I hide anything from you?"

"Yes you did many things from even hiding, "said Elizabeth with a jealous expression.

Elizabeth continued, "You lied to me about having other lovers and I can't believe you hid that from me!"

"When did I hide it?"

"When I asked do you have any relationship with women? "

"What did you say ? "Asked Elizabeth

"I said I didn't have any relationship with women in this world "

"Yeah, you deceived me."

"When did I deceive you?" asked Alex with a confused expression.

"You didn't ask about women in the other world, I didn't say it "

"How the hell am I supposed to know that you have other women in other worlds?" Elizabeth asked with a somewhat angry expression as she thought about how Alex lied to her like that.

"Didn't I explain it after "

"And you say about it. After I fell in love with you " shouted Elizabeth

"If I say it at the beginning, will you love me?"

"I will think about it?"

"That is why I didn't tell you." Said Alex

As Elizabeth and Alex were quarrelling

Seeing the quarrel, Will asked Jack, sitting beside him, "What are these two talking about?".

"Nothing, just a quarrel between a jealous wife and a cheating husband," said Jack with a smile as he drank the Rum.

"Did he really cheat on Miss Elizabeth?" asked Will

"You can't judge a person by his looks. Not everyone is like me," said Jack.

"It is true, not everyone can be as shameless as you," said Will.
