Chapter 174 : Arrival on the island

"What the hell is that?" asked Jack while rubbing his eyes as he saw the bright light.

"My ship's weapon," said Alex.

"Weapon?" thought Jack as he remembered the destruction caused by it. Is that power something a weapon can cause?.

Its power is something Jack has never seen, but he is sure if that attack hits his ship it will be total destruction.

"Now our route is clear," said Elizabeth

"We are almost there, and after some time we will arrive at the island "

"Treasures here we come" shouted Jack when he heard Alex's words

"This guy, his mood changes too fast," said Alex.

Alex could then expand his senses and locate the island he was looking for. It appeared the moment they existed the mist.

'At last, I will meet the goddess of this world'

'System anything about system fragments? '

[No there are no system fragments on this island]

'System can't you give me a clue? '

[No find it by yourself]

'Why do I feel like this system is becoming more like a human? '

"What happened, what is that loud noise?" shouted Will as he woke up from the trance because of a loud explosion and ran towards Alex.

"Nothing, my ship blasted the rocks that were blocking our path," said Alex

"What? Is that noise caused by cannon fire? Will wondered how a cannon could produce such a loud sound.

"Almost, but not quite it"

"Whatever go and wake up the crew we are nearing the island, "said Alex as he was not in the mood to explain.

"Why are they all asleep?" asked Will as he saw everyone unconscious, as if they had been drugged.

"Jack, where are you going?" Alex asked as he saw Jack sneaking away.

"I'm planning to check the crew. It is my duty as a captain to look after my crew "said Jack with a serious face as he was serious for the first time in his life.

"I would have believed if you didn't have that Rum bottle in your hand," said Alex as he saw the Rum bottle in Jack's hand.

"Since I found the island I thought it was time to celebrate." said Jack drinking Rum.

"No idiot, it is time to explore the island," said Alex as he kicked Jack.

After some time they arrived at the shore, and the sight of the island was breathtaking. The white sand, the crystal clear water, and the lush vegetation filled them with awe.

The sea around the island was covered in thick mist. Which acted as a barrier, blocking entry to the island and preventing anyone from entering or leaving.

Alex was surprised to see that the island was much larger than he thought. The mist had hidden the true size of the island, making it seem much smaller than it actually was. After exploring the island with his senses, he found that it was more than 20km in length, much larger than he had initially expected.

The island was a lush, green paradise, with trees and greenery that seemed to go on forever. The air was filled with the sound of chirping birds and the smell of fresh, salty sea air. There were steep cliffs on one side and a sandy beach on the other, with a large volcanic mountain in the center.

Alex ,Elizabeth,Will , Jack and Gibbs were standing at the shore discussing something. A large smile appeared on Jack's face as he said, "Let's go explore the island to find treasure."

"If you are not careful before you find the treasure you may find death." Alex warned Jack as he approached.

"Is there any danger on this island?" asked Jack.

"Yes the island is filled with savages who will eat outsiders, and there is also mention of ghosts protecting the treasure."

"What, there are ghosts?" asked Jack

"Yes there is one who enjoys killing captains who seek treasure," said Alex in a gloomy voice.

"Gulp, can I retreat now?" asked Jack with a fearful expression.

"No, since you are excited how can you retreat now," said Alex with a smile.

"Don't worry Jack, I will help you."

"Thank y----" said Jack with hope in his eyes.

"To arrange a funeral for you," said Alex while patting Jack's shoulder.

"It's time to stop Alex, Jack is already scared," said Elizabeth as she saw Jack's face.

"So Alex is all that true about ghosts and savages?" asked Will who had heard all the conversation.

"Common, how could that be true?"

"He is just saying that scare Jack, "said Gibbs

"Right?" Gibbs asked to confirm his thoughts

"Nope, it's true if you let your guard down you will become food, "said Alex.

At the same time, a woman was observing all this. As the fire in front of her showed Alex's face in the flickering light, she smiled lovingly as she looked at Alex's face.

"So handsome, soon I will meet him," said the woman with a smile.
