The Second quest

A week after the construction of the plant, the alchemists approached Ash asked questions regarding the periodic table. They asked them about the blank spaces in the table. Ash explained that alternative to alchemy there is a subject called Chemistry which deals with solids, liquids and gases in chemical form. He brought the basic chemistry book which system has given him during those 4 years and he gave it to the alchemists.

The alchemists studied the book and could not believe the knowledge present in it. There are different formulas, their Latin names and their reactions. They were astonished by the knowledge present in it as it can open a new branch of research in this world. They gave heartful thanks to Ash and went back to research the knowledge present in the book.

Ash felt relieved after they left because they kept pestering him about the new chemicals Ash has acquired.

The system has given him a reward after the construction of the plant and he did not have time to reclaim it because he was busy.

Special Quest(Completed): Construct a sewage treatment plant for the Barony.

Reward: 300000 Experience points, Green points +20.

He saw a completely new reward called Green points which he had not seen in any novel or comic in previous life.

"System what are the green points?"

"Host if you create or develop any environmental friendly technologies, buildings etc. these points will be given. The higher green points will help in unlocking a legendary environmental friendly class when you reach Level 30.

"Thank you system" said Ash with a smile. The reason Ash is smiling because, Subclass 2 is any type of administrator class rather than a combat class.

In the future when Ash will establish his own nation, he can determine how he wants to develop that land. Ash wants an environment and economics to go hand in hand because in his previous life on earth he had to live in unclean areas and highly polluted areas which affected his health many times.

He is not in a mood to make this world suffer the pollution experienced by earth. He is going to take a completely new path where people living in harmony with nature and there is huge biodiversity.

It may be contradictory to what he is doing by hunting monsters but monsters reproduce at alarming rates if their population is not put on check they will ravage everything.

Even the guild makes sure that no species is hunted to annihilation because it would affect the life of adventurers.

Ash departed for the guild and approached the receptionist. When he saw everyone's expressions, they were filled with admiration towards Ash. Ash not only stopped a calamity from hitting the barony but also improved the health conditions by construction of a sewage treatment plant.

The Baroness ordered the plumbing of all the houses to be connected to underground sewage which will directly flow through pipes to the plant. She has also banned public defection and started building lot of public toilets in the Barony for Men and Women separately. The women were most happy due to what baroness has done.

The receptionist looked at Ash and said "Welcome Ash and thank you". Ash smiled and nodded.

"We have received recommendation from Baroness and you will be promoted to Indigo Rank" said the receptionist. Ash did not ask why and how because he had done great service by eliminating Orion and his monsters. Ash returned the Violet tag and receptionist Callie gave him an indigo tag with his name and other details.

"So, what quests are available for Indigo rank?" asked Ash. "This time there are no monster requests and any combat related quests for Indigo rank but you should check the board if you find anything interesting" said Callie.

"Thank you" said Ash and went to the quest board. There are quests for herb collection, delivery of goods, helping in construction etc. He did not find any of them interesting. "So not good ones at all aren't they?" asked someone on the side.

He saw a girl with red cherry lips, beautiful curves and big chest. She might be his age and has black hair just like him. Her eyes were black too."Sorry, but who are you?" asked Ash.

"Oh sorry, my name is Raven and I am an Indigo Rank just like you" said the girl. "I am Ash, nice to meet you" said Ash.

They both shook hands and Ash is mesmerized by her beauty but he did not show it in his face. Ash looked at for a minute and returned his attention to the board. His heart is beating rapidly and his ears and face have become red.

Since he is a transmigrated soul of 29 year old, he was able to control his emotions. When he is looking at the board, a quest caught his eye.

"New food recipe required for Ultra Star Restaurant"

Reward: 200000 gold.

Ash is shocked by the amount, the restaurant is offering for an Indigo quest. "Are they that desperate for a new recipe to offer 200000 gold?" murmured Ash.

Raven heard his words and looked at the request. Even she felt 200000 gold was unnecessary for a new recipe.

"Why don't we both team up and take this quest?" asked Raven. Ash looked at her and said "No problem for me" said Ash.

Raven took the quest paper and they both went to the receptionist Callie. Raven registered herself and Ash for this quest.

They both made their way to the restaurant which is in the Central square in the barony.
