Michael has traveled quite far in the past 10 minutes. The pirate doesn't seem to be interested in him, so he continues running from Gurara's house. The village around him all went up in flames as he sneak past all the Pirates.

He has never in his life felt so terrified. Deep in his mind, their something telling him to be scared of this situation. The situation seems so familiar to him somehow.

"Stop!"

one of the pirates notices him leaving the village. Michael turnaround to see a long metal object pointing at him.

Bang!

A loud sound accompany by a fast metal object flew past his face.

'What is that!?'

Even he was unable to follow it because of how quickly it went. Luckily, he was unharmed by the projectile. Michael doesn't want to wait to learn more. He bolts out of there while the guy is still fidgeting with the metal piece. The guy yelled at him and try to follow but, Michael is already deep into the forest and the darkness make it hard to pursue the kid.

Michael was running nonstop. He feel like he had nowhere to go. The village is burning worn and he was running in the dark alone. He is too hurried to get anything useful other than his silver knife and some portable bush that he prepared earlier.

Escaping into the forest.

-------

"Get back!"

A powerful voice sounded in the dark forest. The fire from a torch lit up the area with six hunters surrounding a weird metal monster. It'd look like a metallic crocodile with a spike all over its body. If they were in the village they could recognize that this monster is the same one.

However, the one they're facing is bigger and shinier. It sweeps its tail through the forest floor decimating all the mangrove roots in the area. Most of the hunters are able to jump over it but, some got hit.

Gurara commands some of the hunters to back up from this beast. In all his years of hunting outside, this is the first time that he faces such a weird monster. One has to know that monsters are living being. They have brains and could feel pain, no matter what type of monster it is.

However, the monster he is facing doesn't seem to feel any pain. No matter how hard they hit it. Gurara doesn't want to fight the monster anymore so he ordered the hunters he's with to retreat. Earlier he also sends Belga back to the village, he senses that there might be something fishy about this situation.

"Split up!"

The hunter group split into six people dashing to a different place. They cut all the fire from their torch to lose the metal alligator. Having been on the Boniha island their whole life, even if it's pitch black they could feel where they are.

Gurara returned to the village right away to pick up Belga. Hunting this metal monster is more difficult than they anticipated. However, before Gurara could get to Belga he could see the fire burning from the direction of the village. He sped up in a panic.

Not long after

Gurara punches any unfamiliar face that's in the way and arrives at his house which is replaced by orange flames

"Layla! Michael!"

He shouts at the top of his lung and climbs the house that has been lit on fire. This amount of heat could burn the person alive but, it is nothing to Gurara. He arrives in the living room and sees nothing. Due to the flames, he could not use his detecting sense.

He push through the doors but did not find Michael or Layla. The only thing he finds is a blurring house, lots of smoke, and a messed up house. Gurara checks the smithy and sees that all the weapons that he crafted are gone. It seems like they plunder all the valuable stuff in his house.

Gurara left the house. If he didn't find them here it must mean that they have already escaped. It's hard to believe that his daughter would be captured. However, that is not the same for Michael. Gurara looks around and dashed to the nearest pirate.

His fist curls up into a ball and punches one unlucky fellow in the face.

"Where's the kid in that house!"

"H.. how would I know!?" The pirate answered while shaking "Wait... I remember.. captain went in there... I think your kid is dead..."

Pah!

Gurara punches the pirate in the stomach knocking the guy out. Gurara then turns to see that many of the pirates have encircled him. They are not dumb enough to let this dangerous guy run around.

"Attack him together! he can't defeat all of us!"

One pirate shouted, prompting the other to follow. Since Gurara is the most powerful guy they have encountered. He is properly the village chief. If they could take him down the village will be theirs.

Seeing that they are out to kill him Gurara's killing intent burst out stunning all the pirates around him. He dashes out and punches one pirate in the body.

Pah! Splash!

His hand went through one of the pirate's bodies and grab his heart out. The pirate instantly dies spilling out a pool of blood.

At this moment Gurara is not playing around anymore.

----

In the forest, Michael quickly goes down south. It's the place he's most familiar with So even if the creepy woman follows him, he would have an environmental advantage.

looking back he could not see anyone pursuing him. Michael heaves a sigh of relief. However, he did not stop running. The further away he is the safer he is.

pag!

Michael stumbled and fell on the floor. The darkness of this place finally has an effect on Michael's vision. He stretch out his hand in a push-up position and try to mitigate the damage from the fall, However, Michael did not expect that he would fall through it.

It's a trap!

Micahel fell through the ground into the pitfall trap. There he has to react quickly to save himself from the spike down below.

Pah!

Fliping himself in the air Michael manages to avoid most of the spike. Luckily it has been made to catch monsters so, the spike is placed farther from each other. However, Michael still got stabbed in the external oblique.

"Arghhhhh"

Michael screams out loud. The spike is quite big and it pierces all the way through his body. With That kind of wound, it's impossible for a 12-year-old kid not to scream.

After a while, Michael composes himself and carefully remove the spike. He doesn't want to be stuck in a position where he has to run with a spike stabbed through his body.

"Grrr"

He grunts from the pain. The wood that stabbed through him did not get a clean cut so, many pieces of wood got stuck inside his body. The wooden spike has been punched out and Michael quickly covers the wound with his own shirt.

When he was in the village he didn't have time to prepare so the one cloth he wore is a plain grey T-shirt with brown short pants. Perfect for the monster to eat him.
