30 Burning night
In the middle of the nights
"Get down!"
"Where're the hunters!?"
Screams and fire burned the village as people are getting killed left and right. the scream of pain and smoke reach the air and the hunters are nowhere to be found. The only people left in the village are farmers and other non-combatants.
There are some hunters left in the village but, they could not stop the threat at all.
Pirates are people that could be commonly seen out in the sea. Their only objective is wealth and power. They often catch a vessel out in the ocean and rob them of their treasure. However, there's a rare chance that they will invade the island. They would choose a vulnerable island that has a weak defense to plunder for supplies and riches.
Normally Boniha island wouldn't be on their radar at all. The island is packed full of people who have monstrous body so, the people that invade them often get beaten back pretty badly. Even the villager is better than some pirates who have been fighting all their lives.
However, Boniha island right now is in a strange state. The main combat force is out of the tribe and for some reason, most of the hunters on the island aren't in the village. That leaves only normal people to defend themselves from these pirates.
Although the village could fight against ordinary pirates, these ones are clearly not normal. The silver skull pirate is known throughout the sea. Their strength is equal to that of a normal marine fleet on the mainland.
They also have something terrifying with them. a metal monster that stands up to 3 meters tall. Its body is made entirely of metal. The monster looks like a massive crocodile with a blade on its head. Its body is covered in metal scales with spikes protruding all over it. And worst of all it can also spit out flames!
"What kind of monster is that!?"
the villager cries out in panic. The weapon they throw at it bonce of its metallic body. The force in their blade and hammer could only blunt scratch the monster.
"I don't know! How could they tame this monstrosity? I feel like they don't feel any pain!"
"Why are the hunters not here yet!?"
Another villager cries out as the metal crocodile tale sweeps through the area. Pushing all the villagers that surround it off. it also spits out the flame to burn some of the villagers down. The village is now in chaos!
"You guys are doing great!"
Silvia shouts out her pleasure and commands her crewmate to kill more people. Then she grabs a silver item out of her pocket. It's a circular object that has a glass dome covering it. On it is a red dot that is beeping in place.
She smiles in satisfaction as she turns to a tree house that is relatively high up than the other one In the area. She proceeded forward and the beeping got more frequent. As she arrive in front of the tree house the beeping turned into a sharp long beep sound.
'Found it'
Silvia looks up and enters the tree house through the ladder. She opens wooden hatches that lead into a brown room. The wooden enclosure is decorated with flowers and vines. By the side, there are also windows that could lead to the outside. Looking from above she could see the fire and scream of the village. Silvia smiled in satisfaction.
'What a nice song'
She walks to the other side of the room and opens the door. She look around and didn't find her objective. She put on her blue glasses, her pupil constricts and the glasses slowly turn red. Her vision changed to a blue hue and she could see the heat that emits from living beings and fire as red.
She scans through the house checking if there are any people in the house. turning her head she could see that there was a slightly red color emitting from the room to her right. Judging from the heat she could see that the person is only a kid with a weak body. Otherwise, they would already flee the village since being in the forest is much safer than being in the village.
Her mouth curls up into a smile as she approaches the door. She deliberately walks louder to scare the little kid that's hiding in the room.
Knock knock
"Is anybody there? I'm here to help!"
"....."
No one answer her, she look through the walls with the snake glasses and could see that the red silhouette is changing position. Possibly hiding from her. Slightly surprised by the quiet reaction she opens the door slowly.
The room is a square room with a bed to the right. There is also a closet to the left with a desk in the middle. On it is a monster guidebook that Michael is reading before the village went up in flames.
He can't decide whether to leave the village or stay and wait for Gurara to rescue him. While he was hesitating the chaos and flame scared him from leaving and he stayed indoors.
"Where are you hiding sweety?"
Silvia said with an alluring voice trying to get a response. She enjoys playing with little kids the most, because of how easy it is to scare them. As expected no one answered her. Silvia is a little disappointed however, it doesn't matter anyways. She knows exactly where Michael is.
Bang!
She kicks down the closet. The wooden square fell down and break into many pieces. The cloth spilled out all over the floor. However, there's no Michael in it.
"Opss I think I got the wrong place... Where could you be? maybe under the bed?... "
She look over to the bed and directly stared at Michael's shivering body. Michael felt the cold run down his spine. He knows this feeling too well. The feeling of being hunted! whenever it's a monster or people that bullied him. It always felt like this! However, this time he felt dread like never before.
It's a creepy feeling that something is slowly approaching you and you can't stop it. Michael is rightfully scared by this woman. He quickly rolls out of his bed and throws a pillow at her. It got cut in half in the middle of the air. Silvia's smile brighten when she saw Michael.
"There you are!"
She brandishes out her blade and it extends into a whip She purposefully slashes right next to Michael to scare him. Her tactic worked and Michael quickly dash to the door to escape.
However, before he could do that Silvia dashed and swung her whiplike sword at him. The metal blade swirls around and cut Michael in a different place. Despite his pain, Michael quickly brought out a soft bush and throw it at her. He also splashes the water on it to expand the bush.
Silvia haven't expected the soft bush to be used to stall her, she could easily slash it to pieces but pretend to get hit by it. She watches with a smile as Micheal leaves the room.
"HEhe"
Giggling to herself Silvia went back to search for her objective. The only thing she knows about this item is that it could be tracked by the metal sphere, small and extremely expensive. She had been commissioned by an unknown client to receive it.
Now that she thinks about it it's quite weird they only want this one item. even if Boniha island is a backwater place, they still got some quite valuable ore and material. It's likely that this time is very powerful.
'Whatever, let's finish this and enjoy the music.'
Then she continues to search for the object in question. 5 minutes later she hasn't found it so she checks where it is in the metal sphere and it's actually moving.
"It's on that kid!"
