Chapter 10 - Thrashing The Bandits

Seeing Lepus walking to their boss, one of the men didn't stand still.

"What do you want to do, brat!? Stop or I'll kill you!"

Hearing this threat, Lepus ignored it and kept walking.

"You f*cker! I said stop!"

When he arrived in front of the bandit underling who were threatening him, Lepus paused for a moment and swung his arm, punching the underling in the stomach.

"Buhahk!"

The underling clutched his stomach and vomited blood before finally collapsing to the floor.

Then Lepus looked at the other men and warned.

"Hmph! Small fry better just shut up!"

Seeing that Lepus could take down one of the underling with just one hit, the other bandit underling as well as the Boss were wide-eyed. Some of the people who were lying prone were also surprised to see this.

Lepus again walked towards the bandit Boss. After being not far in front of the bandit Boss, Lepus warned again.

"Last warning.... Don't bother here and go away."

Hearing this, the bandit Boss remained calm. He belittled and ignored Lepus's warning and responded arrogantly instead.

"Brat, do you think that just by taking down one of my men, you are so great!? Can your fist hit a sword? Can you hit a bullet? And a brat like you might not know this, but I, Bowdo-sama, am a fugitive worth 6,000,000 Beri! Don't play with me if you don't want to die, you f*ckin' brat!"

Hearing that the Bandit Boss turned out to be a fugitive worth several million Beri, Lepus was a little surprised.

"... 6,000,000 Beri? Good. I happen need money."

Lepus calmly said while nodding.

Hearing Lepus' statement, the bandit boss was furious!

"Haahh!? What did you said!? 'Good'!? You b*stard! Kill this brat!"

Hearing their boss' orders, the bandit's men surrounded and thrust their swords at Lepus.

"Aaahhhhh!!!"

Screams were heard but not from Lepus or the people lying prone, but from the bandits! Then one by one the bandit underlings fell down with their swords stuck in their bodies! Meanwhile, Lepus remained standing quietly and without any injuries! Seeing this, the bandit Boss and some people who were lying prone were shocked!

"W-What!? What happened!? Why did you guys stabbed each other!?"

The bandit Boss asked with a surprised face!

His underlings then answered with stuttering and whimpering.

"B-Boss... T-that brat... That brat can't be stabbed!"

"What!? What do you mean!? Can't be stabbed!?"

The Boss shout confused.

"Ye-yeah, Boss! That kid... can't be stabbed!"

"Right, boss!... I... We stabbed the sword aiming at the boy. B-but when we stabbed him, the boy seemed still and calm. I also didn't feel like stabbing flesh, and more like stabbing air, boss! And a moment later, I felt a pain that turned out to be Loris's sword, and my sword stabbed into Loris instead!"

"What!? How could be!? No. Could it be... You- You're a devil fruit user!?"

The boss pointed at Lepus with a slight tremble.

"... Surprised? I ate Kara-Kara no Mi. I can make my body hollow as if it were just an illusion. Before, I already warned you to leave or regret it. Now it's too late."

Lepus purposely hides his devil fruit's true ability from others in order to be not too flashy.

Lepus then walked back to the bandit boss.

And the bandit boss, Bowdo, was getting really scared now.

Even though he and his bandit group have repeatedly robbed, killed, raped, and even committed other crimes, the previous victims were just ordinary people who were weak and helpless. But this time, they faced a devil fruit user. Moreover, currently their opponent is the owner of a devil fruit power that makes him unable to be stabbed or shot. That's why they feel so screwed and unlucky right now.

Seeing Lepus approaching him, Bowdo panicked and trembled.

"N-No! D-Don't come any closer! Get away from me! Ahh!!!"

Bowdo fires his gun and then turned to run away!

"Hehahahaha.... 6 million, here I come~!"

Lepus then chases after Bowdo and secretly uses the boundary ability to slightly manipulate his speed and body strength. Then, Lepus kicked Bowdo from the back.

"Hmph!"

"Guhahkk!"

Bowdo slammed down and then fell unconscious lying in the middle of the road.

Then, Lepus lifted one of Bowdo's leg and dragged him back to the Restaurant.
