[Mature Content!] Theodore Black, a normal person in an abnormal world where genetic superiority is everything, and when I say everything I mean everything from the smallest amoeba to the gigantic RI pterodactyl, had a dream. Being normal is like a blessing but not in this case. The world is so advanced that a normal person is worse than an automated coffee table. Due to his normality, Theodore has a very not-so-happy life. He doesn't have a job, like who would even hire a normal wannabe like him for any task? His parents and peers thought he was a lost cause, maybe he was. Until... One day the deputy head of the international space association came to visit him. He first thought it was a prank or perhaps some sort of mistake but soon reality hit him. He was asked to do his dream job, going to space. But there was a catch. .... a few weeks later he found himself stranded on an unknown planet with not-so-friendly races. To take cover he crawled into a cave and got attacked by a woman, not in an aggressive way but a romantic way. She kissed her for what seemed like a thousand years and... And then... Romance, Yandere, System are the main tags. Warning! Mc starts out as a very weak protagonist. But he eventually goes through stuff and then comes character development. I'd appreciate it if I didn't receive comments like, "Why's he so wimpy?" "Why does he just keep on depending on others?" and such. There are reasons and they'll be explained. PS. Chapter 1Prologue

Drip!

Water dripped.

The young man took a step back.

Darkness swayed in front of him; a small pond that stretched across the darkness and a girl emerging from the same darkness, who he took to be human at first glance.

But that was a deadly mistake.

The young man was on a mission. But he got separated and now he had to pay the ultimate price: his life. This planet was the home of numerous predators and he was the prey.

He sweated and breathed heavily as he took another step back. The girl took a step forward.

There was a scent in the air and the scent was alluring to the young man.

Water drops leaked from the girl's seamless body as she walked ever closer: droplets streamed down.

It didn't make sense as to how the ambiance was so euphoric. Her skin reflected a light pink aura. She was different from humans but perhaps the better version: at least looks wise. Her bright red eyes glistened as she glanced at the young man but upon further inspection, they turned out to be almost like rubies. She had a sultry expression on her face enough to make any man tremble.

But the young man trembled for various other reasons. But he couldn't help but feel a bit intimidated at the sheer beauty of the girl. 'So beautiful.'

The young man didn't know how or why but one thing was for certain, he couldn't stay here. He came here in the hopes of surviving. Something was after him, hunting him, and he had to take shelter here, but was it all for naught?

This girl didn't look like she was about to rip his guts out but he couldn't take the chance. He did find her beautiful, but his life was more important.

"Stay back!" He shouted, but the girl didn't respond.

Could she even understand him?

He didn't have any weapons and he didn't have any strength or rather powers either. He was normal: perhaps too normal. And he was going to die. 'Why did I even come to this place?'

Maybe his father was right. Maybe his sister was right. Maybe everyone was right. Maybe he should have just stayed back home.

But none of that mattered right now.

He was out of breath and he could feel his blood rushing to a lot of places. The sensation, the tightening of his chest, the throbbing…

But the moment he blinked, the girl disappeared. He looked around, cautiously, but there was no one here anymore.

There was silence- a silence that made him shiver at the sound of his own heartbeat and breath.

He didn't know what to feel. He didn't know if he'd survive or not, but he did feel relieved. Was all of this just his imagination? He was stressed beyond limit, and technically there wasn't supposed to be any humanoid species on this planet but even so, such an elaborate hallucination? But the possibility was there. And because of that, he could sigh in relief.

After all, humans had a tendency to believe in things that gave them the most comfort and the feeling of safety.

But a second later, he almost fell on the ground as the girl dropped from the ceiling, wrapping her arms and legs tight around the young man. He did fall on the ground but the girl was on top of him.

"ARGHH!" He screamed in fear but the girl didn't let him go.

'I don't want to die.' No one did.

But something was wrong. The girl's embrace wasn't hurting him. In fact, somehow it felt good.

She looked deep in his eyes. Their eyes were locked on. White strands of hair covered most of her face and touched the young man's face, ever so gently: her hair could move. And for once the young man didn't feel the instant fright he felt till now. "Who are you?"

The girl didn't answer. Instead, she kissed him. She licked him behind the ears. She sucked him dry.

The young man didn't want to give in, but his body didn't listen to him anymore. The alluring scent was coming from the girl and from the moment she touched him, his body didn't belong to him, not anymore.

Their tongues rolled on and pulses of euphoria coursed through the young man's body over the course of the next ten minutes. He even forgot about the life-threatening thing that was on his tail just outside this place. It didn't matter.

This mattered more. Everything else was irrelevant.

But the moment he was done, the world swayed.

The young man felt faint. Something about his left hand stung and it stung badly.

And before he knew it, everything went dark.

"The hopes of our race are within you now…." A voice ran out. A peaceful, urgent, and sweet, soft voice. "I wish, we could have met again… though it's impossible."

That was the last thing he heard.

OLD-WORLD EXTRA

{Check out my new novel, Misunderstood Villain: Heroines Mourn My Death} 'Born In Ruins' was a forgettable read. That was the only way Emir could describe the pages of the novel he had found himself reincarnated into. The young man barely knew anything, but the snippets he had recalled only caused him unending sorrow... As what awaited him was only tragedy and an early death. It was a depressing story, one that he had planned to flip on its head—all for his salvation. — In this post-apocalyptic world, monsters fought humans and cyborgs in a battle for survival on a scale greater than ever before. A world where innocence and death were a luxury, where the line between heroes and villains was razor-thin. Within its expanse, 'Ancient Clans,' 'Galactic Federations,' 'Factions', and 'Corporations' presided over colossal 'Ruins' that dwarfed the concept of life itself. Survivors of the 'Third World War' continuously dove into the 'Old World,' 'Hunting' for 'Relics' in any ruin that they could find on Earth, desperate to reclaim 'Lost' technology, to stand a fighting chance against the inevitable. But it appeared that 'Earthkind' had met their match. …However, Emir would never allow that fate to take its course. — Emir unraveled layers of the tale and realized the truth of the world. He acquainted himself with the rules of this game before it fully consumed him. And now... no longer content with mere survival, he sought to dominate over the very fabric of this unforgiving universe. Emir shall rise from the pawn he once was, seeking to unravel the mysteries that hounded him. The boundaries of 'Aether,' his father’s disappearance, the noose hanging above his family’s head, and of course… his starless destiny, a fate he longed to control. This pursuit would earn him the epithet: "Prince Of The Fallen." ---------------------------------------------- *Tags: Reincarnation ;), Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Magical Realism, Academy (Volume 3), Romance, Apocalypse, {Anti-Hero. Villain.} *Expect this novel to start slowly; it begins ramping up at the halfway point of volume 1. *The Magic System is introduced at the end of volume 1, read my review and Auxiliary chapter for more on that. *Warning: The main characters have emotions like proper humans. So don't expect your usual emo kid as the MC and come complaining later.

Tempest of the Stellar War

He received a genetic score of 28... completely disqualifying him from applying to military college! He helped deliver a friend's love letter... and fell into a lake becoming infamous for dying for love! His very first gift... warped him into a brutal training simulation! However he perserved through all these trials! Our Dear Student Wang Zheng has finally started his lucky(?) university life! This is the song of a blood boiling and exciting storm! The most ferocious and heated mecha adventure around is finally here! TL Note: This is a novel about doing the impossible, seeing the invisible. Follow along for a ride across the universe! TL;DR: Not Shakespeare, not complex, but fun and easy to read. Come support! As the translator, I've enjoyed translating this novel and I hope to bring the essence of what the author has tried to portray into the chapters you will read. To sum it up in 3 words: Mechs! Explosions! Science! To be perfectly honest, this novel is about your typically overpowered protagonist who does get looked down from time to time but always overcomes the odds with his own special power. He's abit more mature having grown up on his own and just a littttttttle bit dense. Although it always ends up with him winning, it always happens in an interesting (subjective) and fun way that makes me enjoy reading this. The novel has elements of lighthearted comedy from time to time and I do chuckle at how direct the humor is. It's not as smart as say WMW nor does it weave an intricate story much like Ergen's novels. More importantly, its fun and it doesn't try to hide it.

Write this review around the latest four chapters so far. Review Proper (Might contain spoilers ahead!!!) Writing Quality. Well, I'm still learning a lot about writing grammar myself so other than the basic grammar stuff, I can't say much. However, the author really did well in writing the narratives for this story. The structure of each scene and grammar are on par with the top novels here at WN. Stability of Updates: So far the author has stable updates, and mentioned in the synopsis that it will be around Saturday and Sunday. Good thing, since the readers will not be anxious each day wondering when there will be updates. Story Development. The opening chapter started with a bang! It's very interesting. Then it smoothly transitioned to the protagonist's life. Theodore was vividly described as someone normal and as a normal person as well, I can relate well. I looked forward to the further development of the story. Character Design. Based on how the author describes the characters, they really act that way and speak the way in line with their personalities. Nothing feels forced in the dialogues and such. World Background. I love it. I myself am a fan of system novels. And with a setting that is intergalactic and sci-fi added, truly a chef's kiss. Recommendation: Just read the first chapter, and I know you will definitely like to continue reading it. It's sad that I don't have stones right now, but I will definitely vote for this when I have. Overall, this will definitely stay in my library! I look forward to more chaps! Great work, author!
