I felt a peaceful sensation… It was as if I was floating on the surface of a warm pool.
It was so peaceful that I felt like I was embracing death.
I couldn't see anything nor feel my body, just my consciousness. My life was perfect…. I had a dream, I had a loving family…..a future…but I lost everything.
After that incident, I lost the will to live.
Hah! If only I had the power to change my fate….I would have protected the people I cherished.
Now that I think about it, why can I still think? Shouldn't my consciousness fade away after death?! Who knows…..nobody came back to life to tell the tale about the experience of death.
After floating for what felt like an eternity, I heard a voice.
"Do you want to live again? Do you wish to wield the power to change your fate?"
A gentle voice rang all around me, reigniting the will to live that I lost. I wanted to live!! I desperately tried to shout, but I had no mouth to speak.
"I shall provide you with another chance, child… This time you shall wield the power to change your fate!"
The voice said those words as the darkness around me illuminated.

Hage Village: Clover Kingdom
It was a winter night with the entire village covered in a dense fog.
Although the fog was denser than usual, the villagers paid no attention to it. At the door of a shabby church, space seemed to have warped as a baby wrapped in a white blanket lying in a basket appeared on the doorstep.
Two more events happened at the same time. In the outskirts of the village, lay a demon skull which glowed for a second before turning normal. On top of the skull, a swallow-like bird made of stone started to crack as a living and breathing bird broke out of it.
The bird was confused and looked around everywhere trying to grasp its situation.
Sensing mana fluctuation, the bird flew towards the church and sat on its roof looking down at the baby in the basket. The bird's eyes widened as it felt a connection to the sleeping boy as if he was the reason she woke up from her slumber.
A few meters away from her, a man with purple wave-like eyes stared at the scene while mana erupted from his hands, covering the entire village.
The man looked distressed as he coughed some blood.
"This concludes the fifteenth loop. With this, the next loop should go smoothly," the man muttered and disappeared from Hage village.
Father Orsi POV:
Oof! It's too cold today; I feel my bones freezing. The harvest celebration took a while or else I would have returned by now.
I wonder if God is testing my faith with this cold. If that is the case, I will overcome it at all costs. With newfound determination, I headed toward the church that I opened with my life savings.
Although I wanted to create a place of prayer, my main objective was to create an orphanage. The manager of the Grimoire Tower and Sister Theresa said that they would support me in this project since they knew where I was coming from. I wished to return the favor to the world in return for the kindness I received from God.
As I got near the door, I was flabbergasted.
In front of the door of my church was a baby wrapped in a white towel. Who could abandon their child in such a condition?!
Heartless people!
I immediately brought him to the fireplace and started rubbing his hands and feet to warm him.
To my surprise, his body was warm even in this weather. I wondered if this blanket and basket were magic items.
The boy struggled a bit but finally opened his eyes and looked around with curiosity. He had dark black hair and blood-red eyes.
I had never seen anyone with such features in the Clover Kingdom.
I wonder if he is from the neighboring nation.
Looking at his basket, there was a name written on it: "Julian."
Don't worry, Julian. It doesn't matter where you are from. From now on, you are my child, and I, Orsi, will do everything to raise you as a gentle soul.

In front of my eyes was a middle-aged man in church attire. He was speaking something gibberish from which I could only make out some words: Clover Kingdom, magic item, Orsi….father Orsi from Hage Village ?!
This man seems kind of familiar… too familiar. Wait a minute… does this mean I transmigrated into the world of Black Clover?!
I was flabbergasted and looked around trying to verify if I was dreaming or not. All of a sudden, a screen popped in front of me.
