Chapter 39 System upgrade and New abilities

Dark spent the next week making sure that the plans he had put in place were working while also getting his gear ready however he had upgraded his smgs to use lasers instead of bullets since they were the more powerful option however due to this the range of the guns had decreased but that's not a problem but the problem was getting use to the new power that the guns shows as such he spent a few days after his plans were verified in the gun range testing every aspect of the guns before he was satisfied.

After that he asked Red Queen to make modifications to the DSS Victory to make is more sturdy swapping some weapons for shield rechargers and capacitors to make the shield the best it could be with the current technology although it ment less firepower but Dark had chosen to take some of the freshly made T-800 and T-800 infiltration units the normal once for troop combat and the Infiltration ones for deployment to any place where information can be gathered surprisingly the units can send information from the otherside of the wormhole making it not necessary to have à outpost on the otherside of the wormhole however it's still important to do so as it save time when trying to supply ships or stations that we have on the otherside.

After making that decision he had the supplys needed to make a basic outpost on the nearest habitable planet after making theses arrangements all Dark had to do was make sure that Beast team made their own preparations and also wait for Red Queen to finish the change needed to the DSS Victory than he was set to go.

Dark spent this time using the traveling companion feature of the system in hopes of getting something helpful for the most part he got a few stimulants and more research documents which were all given to Red Queen to use for research and development as we need as much as we can in order to prepare for anything but it's still annoying that he has not gotten anything good some far however after what seemed like the 100th time he actual got something he did not expect a daedra heart with a book on how to bind once existence to a plane of existence and not only that the book was translated by the system and changes to it were made to make it possible although due to these changes it was slightly different results although the ability to reappear in the plane after death thus avoiding it it will put you in a weakened state for 6 months and due to this plane being unaccessible to anyone other than those he allows anyway there's no risk of it being destroyed since the plane is maintained by the system this also makes the process of doing so easier and allows remote management if needed.

After not much thought he decides it's best to do it all he needs is the daedra heart and to absorb energy from this plane like he does anyway so while he waits for the Red Queen to finish he might as well get it done as it will take a few weeks for the connection to be established so he spent the next week in his special void room absorbing the void energy of this plane after the week passed he began to feel a strange but weak after feeling the connection information started to rush into his mind after processing this information he learned that it's weak because the plane is currently weak both would get stronger the older it is.

Before he could think what to do next a notification from the system appears in the display in his mask

SYSTEM NOTIFICATION

Divine Domain connection detected due to this the system will begin it's upgrade now the host has taken his first step to true Divinity the system hopes the host will continue to grow and seek out his path in the Divine

System upgrade will take 24 hours

Dark was not expecting the system to upgrade and he even learned something about the purpose of the system and the item he got from the traveling companion had helped him more than he thought it would with this system upgrade it might reveal new features or even expand on old ones but at least he now knows that it's purpose is to push me along the path of the divine meaning he would become a god at the end of maybe the god of god's who knows what he will discover along this path maybe he will find a way to go back to his original universe but that's for his future in the present he must focus on building his civilization and survive the ambitions of others.

After that he left his room and spent the time it would take for the system to upgrade with his team deciding that when it's done he needs to upgrade his skills or acquire new ones to make sure he is ready, the next 24 hours passed fast and the time of the systems upgrade completion has come and right on time the notification of the complete upgrade appears, the system did not change much other than a new section in his status has appeared

Now seeing this change he was aware of how important it was to the path the system is taking him but now he needs a more instant upgrade so deciding to spend the rest of his 4600 pints on abilities ether from his skill tree or the shop first looking at his skill tree

Dark Matter Golem : 1000Divine Points

Dark Matter enhancement: 1500 Divine Points

Dark Matter Weapon Creation: 5000 Divine Points( note this skill has levels each level must be purchased separately)

Dark Matter Golem

Creates a golem our of Dark Matter to fight for you( this golem is made of stabilized Dark Matter making it usable in atmosphere however it will be weaker while doing so as even stabilized Dark matter does not mix well in atmosphere but will not cause damage by its existence)

Takes 200 energy to create and only needs more to repair (do note in atmosphere the Golem will lose energy over time)

Dark Matter Enhancement:

This allows the user to use Dark matter to boost a single stat temporarily for 30 minutes( do not can be used on allies but causes a weakened state afterwards due to incompatibility with Dark Matter)

250 energy required and will be consumed over the whole period of activation

These abilities are useful the golem will make fighting easier and the enhancement will allow himto boost himself in a emergency situation and Dark has enough points for both but after this he decides he should try saving up to get the creation skill to make weapons for his use saving alot of time when in battle after that thought he spend the points acquiring the abilities than heading to the training room to get use to them it took about 2 day to do so.

After that Red Queen informs him that the changes he requested to the DSS Victory have been made and all the supplies needed for the journey have been loaded with that done Dark and those going on this journey all board the ship after everyone was onboard Dark gave the order to move to the wormhole it did not take long for them to arrive and come to a stop " this expedition will determine our future plans of development so remember to report anything we find regardless of how small " with that said he gives the order for the ship to enter the wormhole and so it does leaving behind the safety of this place to explore the otherside of the wormhole as the ship disappears from the system.
