Long Chen reappeared with a frustrated look on his face, Cross opened his eyes and looked over saying "What happened?" Long Chen sighed and said "I only made mid ranked Shedding pills.." Cross shook his head and said "I have no idea what that is." Long Chen explained "They're pills for Mortal Shedding Realm, normally you have to take them to advance to the Divine Flame Realm."

Cross asked "I thought you didn't have a cauldron?" Long Chen rolled his eyes and said "I can buy one after I became a teacher, no?" Cross chuckled and said "I completely forgot about that hehe... By the way... Can I see your cauldron?"

Long Chen took out the cauldron he bought and handed it to Cross, who looked over it before saying "Eh? That's it?" Long Chen tilted his head and said "You know forging?" Cross grinned and said "I created the strongest Treasure in my world." as he pointed to his necklace before laughing "Did you think it was decoration?"

Long Chen nodded and asked "What does it do?" Cross cleared his throat and explained "It can teleport me to the sister necklaces which all my wives have. Not only this but it purifies the energy I absorb and sends a bit to all of them, I can talk to them through the beads, get some of their energy, form armor, control Time and Space, cut space with sword energy, and live forever."

Long Chen felt his mouth twitch and he said "Oh, just that?" Cross scratched his neck and said "The artifact spirit is sleeping right now so I have no idea what it can do in the Immortal World... It was made with all but 2 of the 7 legendary treasures in my previous world. After all, they would just cause a ruckus if left alone, so why not take 'em." as he shrugged.

Long Chen felt like Cross was bragging unintentionally. Cross coughed and said "Anyway! I can make this better, but I need the materials... Oh yeah!" he took out a ring and threw it to Long Chen, who caught it saying "This?" Cross smiled "One of every herb in my garden. You're the one who does alchemy, what am I keeping them for? They look nice but that's about it."

Long Chen chuckled and disappeared, Cross smiled and looked at the cauldron in his hands. He studied the runes and muttered to himself as he kept looking over the entire thing. He had never seen a cauldron before. They didn't have alchemy in the God Realm, the only one who could make pills that he knew was Yun Che.

Long Chen came back and Cross had his head inside the cauldron, mumbling about something. Long Chen smirked and slapped the cauldron, making a buzzing sound, Cross took his head out and shook it saying "What the fuck!" Long Chen burst out laughing, while Cross threw the cauldron at him saying "I need materials to make a better one. These runes are trash! Even if you're a God of Alchemy, you will only make shit. Mid-rank whatever pills is good for this piece of garbage."

Long Chen caught the cauldron and said "Aiyo! I spent my paycheck on this!" Cross sneered "Should've bought bread instead." Long Chen gave him the finger before saying "What materials?" Cross sighed and said "Whatever, unless you want one made of iron? That's all I got." Long Chen laughed dryly saying "Right..." before muttering "Poor bastard.."

Cross was about to attack when a knock on the door sounded along with a voice "Teachers, the Elite Group is here." Cross grinned and said "Oh boy! This should be interesting." Long Chen threw the cauldron back and they left the house, getting on a bird and flying away.

A while later

They landed in a valley and Cross looked at the group in front of him with twitching brows. Cross sat on a rock and watched as Long Chen killed three people and forced the rest to eat a poisonous pill. The elites were so scared but they didn't dare do anything, who knows if Long Chen would kill them next!

Long Chen waved saying "We'll meet at the end of the valley, I'll take care of the bodies. Go." the elites scrambled away and Cross looked at the corpses before saying "Have you ever tried acting? I think you'd be a big hit!" the 3 corpses got up and said "Third Brother I thought you were really going to kill us!"

Long Chen chuckled and said "Close, eh?" Cross rolled his eyes and slapped the three, healing their wounds before sending them off. Long Chen looked at Cross with pursed lips and Cross smirked "This is the Slap of Life!" Long Chen rolled his eyes and chuckled as he walked away.

Cross chuckled and followed him, taking small steps and blurring occasionally. The duo got to the group and Long Chen pointed at a fatty saying "You, what's you name?" the fatty trembled and said "Guess." Long Chen pointed his sword at the terrified fatty's eyebrows.

Someone else said quickly "Teacher! That's really his name! It's Li Cai, but because of his fat tongue it comes out like that!" Long Chen felt his eyes twitching as he said "If nobody spoke for you, you would've been slapped to death!" Li Cai nodded like a chicken pecking rice and the fat on his face trembled like waves.

Cross chuckled and everyone turned to him, he was sitting on a rock, sharpening a long butchering knife with a stone, looking at them with a bloodthirsty grin. They started trembling in fear, Long Chen ignored them and said "You are the strongest of the group. You will be the leader in the future. It's a pity you didn't train your legs, or at all, otherwise you would be able to beat Zhong Changsheng."

Cross was confused and said "Who the fuck is that?" Long Chen said "The gigolo." Cross said "Oooohhh... He wasn't very strong in the first place..." he looked at the group and said "If you can't beat him then I'll just kill you all. Hell, I might even kill you before you get a chance to try. Really depends on my mood."

The elites almost fell down in fear, hearing this. Cross looked at Long Chen and said "1, 2, or 3?" Long Chen looked at the group and said "3 for now.. 1 if things go south, but 2... this is last resort." Cross shrugged and said "You're the boss today." Long Chen grinned and threw a boulder on Li Cai's shoulders, before saying that if dropped it, he would die.

Cross looked at the rest and his hand turned into a claw, grabbing a skinny kid from the group. Cross sniffed the kid and said "Aiyo! You're quite special! What's your name?" the kid said "Fart." Cross slapped him saying "Your parents don't love you? Who names their kid, Fart?" another disciple said "Teacher! His name is Yu Tong! But because of his skinny tongue he says it like that!"

Cross throttled the skinny kid saying "You're really something else, kid. We're going through a name change. You're Beanpole now." he started pointing at disciples saying "Ass-Face, Penis breath, Virge, Papa Smurf..."

The disciples all deflated and Cross said "Line up behind Beanpole. I'm going to beat you senseless." the Disciples were terrified, suddenly Li Cai jumped high up into the air, before landing head first into the dirt. He crawled out of the dirt and kowtowed to Long Chen saying "Master Teacher Long! Please Teach me! I want to get revenge!"

Cross grinned and looked at the rest before lunging at the group and beating the shit out of them.

They all took the beating while listening to Li Cai tell his life story. This kid got his wife robbed from him! Cross shook his head and finished beating the disciples, he looked at Li Cai and the disciples on the group before asking "You all have the same experience?"

The disciples nodded, Cross looked at Long Chen and said "Let's pack up and leave Lingxiao Academy." Long Chen was silent, Li Cai said "What? Why!?" Cross grabbed his collar and shouted in his face "You have the balls to ask why!? A waste couldn't even protect his own wife, you want to be someone great?!" he threw Li Cai with the rest and sneered "A bunch of worthless losers."

The disciples' faces turned ugly as Cross continued "You all have been disgraced and shamed and yet you do absolutely nothing about it! What 'elite'? You're just a bunch of wastes coming here on your parents' money." Cross pointed at himself and said "I never had any parents, I never had any strong backing! I came from nothing to where I am today! I've killed gods, devils, and I fight the heavens! Who's qualified to make me bend and give up?! Nobody! You bunch of cowards want to get revenge? Are you joking? Even if I give you 100000 years you won't get any revenge!"

He picked up Beanpole and bent him 90 degrees saying "Look! Your backs are used to bending!" he bent Beanpole's knees and sneered "So are your knees! You've been kneeling and lowering you heads for so long, your knees have taken root and your back is permanently hunched! Maybe your fiancee saw that you were weak and decided she didn't want to live her life with a coward!"

He kicked Li Cai and said "Did you ever think about that?! Who cares if you have talent? Who cares if you're a genius!? Look at you now, you're all wastes." Li Cai clenched his fist and shouted "What do you know?! They're stronger than me!" Cross punched him in the face shouting "So?! If you die, you die standing! You go down along with your pride and dignity! What is this so-called 'Life over dignity'?!" he spat on the ground and said "It's bullshit! In this world, without power you're nothing! Without your dignity and pride, you'll never advance! You should just find a tree and slam your head until you die!"

Cross glared at the group and trembled in rage as he said "You want to know what happened to a god that insulted me?" the disciples gulped and Cross sneered "I killed him, his clan, and everyone in his realm! Not even a chicken or dog was spared!" a murderous aura gushed out of his body and pressed the disciples.

Li Cai clenched his fist and Cross sneered "A bunch of spineless wimps... If I knew I would have to teach you all, I would've chosen to leave the school entirely!" Li Cai's eyes turned red and he swung at Cross, shouting "Shut up!"

Long Chen grinned, he was worried for a moment. This was a risky move, if they crumbled under Cross' pressure and accepted his insults then he and Cross were truly fucked. Thankfully...

Cross slapped Li Cai away with a sneer, the rest of the group got up and lunged at Cross with red eyes. Cross dodged all their punches and smashed their weak points, throwing them off him. He beat them until they were unconscious.

Long Chen walked over and said "You have a plan?" as he checked their blood, soul, and bones for anything special. Cross grinned and said "I have something crazy if you want to do it." Long Chen grinned and said "I like crazy."

Cross said "Do you have enough herbs for a years worth of medicinal baths?" Long Chen nodded and said "But we only have a month?" Cross grinned and said "I can stretch it out, plus I can also erase their memories of the days that pass, so we can make it a year but for them they'll think it was just a month. What do you think?"

Long Chen asked "Erase memories?" Cross nodded and said "Yeah, plus no backlash. It's completely safe. I've done it millions of times. I'm a pro." Long Chen said "It'll take time to make the medicine..." Cross said "Bring me to where you make it, I'll set up a time bubble."

Long Chen paused for a few moments and Cross said "Of course if its a secret then never mind." Long Chen pursed his lips and said "I trust you." Cross tilted his head and said "We've known each other for how long?" Long Chen sneered "A guy like you, if I don't trust him, I'm afraid he'll never trust me."

Cross grinned and he tapped Long Chen, who disappeared, then he disappeared.

They came into Long Chen's inner world. Cross looked around and whistled in awe. Long Chen said "Here." as he pointed to a spot. Cross pointed his finger and an orange bubble appeared, he said to Long Chen "A day inside is a minute outside." Long Chen said "So powerful!?" Cross grinned "Who did you think I was? Some beggar!?" Long Chen sneered "You look like one." before going into the bubble.

Cross smirked and looked around, he saw a ball of purple lightning. He opened his palm and a small seed of black lightning appeared. He had the origin of the black lightning after absorbing it from the Tribulation, he could make hundreds of seeds.

He gently pushed the lightning seed into the purple ball before walking away. Around 30 minutes later, Long Chen came out and said "I got it all." before looking at the black seed being digested by the purple ball of lightning.

Cross smiled and said "Good, also I have the lightning ball a tribulation lightning seed." he made another one and threw it to Long Chen, who caught it and said "Black lightning?" Cross nodded and complained "The clouds don't like me... At all really."

Long Chen chuckled and said "Same." as he threw a gourd over. Cross caught it and opened the bottle to see inside, he whistled "That's a lot!" Long Chen said "A years worth, no?" Cross nodded with a smile before flipping his palm, 7 different colored drops of blood appeared, he bit his finger and put in one of his own, along with a sliver of green crystalline liquid.

Long Chen rushed over and looked at the blood saying "What is that!?" Cross smirked "Divine Beast blood." before swirling the blood together and plunging it into the bottle. He closed it and shook the bottle fiercely saying "If they aren't world shaking geniuses after this, then they might as well die."

Long Chen gulped and said shamelessly "My good brother! Can you spare me a drop of blood?" Cross laughed and pointed, a drop of sparking Origin Azure blood appeared. Long Chen violently bit the drop of blood, swallowing it before rushing into the time bubble.

Cross had a funny look on his face as he exited the inner world, going back outside.
