Training the little wastes

A while later

Cross held the gourd in his hand and labeled it. He had to label the gourd because he was drinking wine from his own gourd, if he drank the medicine by accident wouldn't he be a fool? And so he held two gourds in his hands, one from drinking and the other one to look menacing. There was a skull and crossbones on the gourd with 'POISON' written in big letters.

The disciples woke up and Cross threw them in a valley before blowing up the side of the cliff and watching as they ran from Scorpion Bees. He drank his wine, feeling nostalgic. Last time he did this was a Hogwarts... He sighed and drank from his gourd with a sad feeling, he missed the simpler days.

Long Chen appeared and saw the bees he chuckled and waved a pile of dust, the bees scattered and the disciples were on the floor looking like steamed buns. He blew up a rock and lava started floated towards them, the disciples started running and Long Chen sat down next to Cross, who looked at him and said "Oh? You got stronger?"

Long Chen grinned and said "The blood was good." Cross chuckled and said "Comes from the Dragon God." Long Chen smiled and they watched the disciples scramble to some vines. Cross added "Oh right. The entire valley has a year to month bubble."

Long Chen nodded and grinned "Let's get to work then." Cross grinned and they left.

They came to a bunch of unconscious disciples. Cross smashed a big pit and filled it with the medicinal bath, Long Chen threw the disciples in it and Cross made a time bubble around it.

Long Chen and Cross continued this routine, throwing the disciples into life and death situations against beasts, natural disasters, and everything else. At the end of each day, they threw the disciples into the medicinal bath.

Cross also modified their memories to think they had been going through so much in just days instead of months. The disciples ate and drank Immortal beast flesh and blood with herbs secretly mixed in.

Cross also cancelled the Time bubble everyday so that him and Long Chen would only actually be here for a month while the disciples would be here for a year. (Basically, Yada Yada. Don't question it.)

They came across a group of people and Cross and Long Chen told the little warriors to kill them. The disciples had been through a few months at this point and had already changed drastically, they dove in without hesitation, slaughtering people.

They met a girl named Luo Ning and she said something about some guy named Chu Kuang being her target. Cross and Long Chen ignored her, making her angry. Anyway, she was important later! They left and continued throwing the disciples into life and death situations, grinding them against a sharpener to make them tough.

Cross even gave them tattoos! They each had a skull with a knife going through it on their bodies. Long Chen liked it and the disciples were ecstatic until they got slapped into a beast den.

Slowly a year (month) passed.

Each of the disciples were walking killing machines! The fat ones weren't fat anymore, and the skinny ones weren't skinny anymore! Each of them had perfect muscle ratio, they looked weak but in reality they were around 1000x stronger than before! They had a killer air around them, Long Chen and Cross were satisfied.

They still had their own goofiness, but when they came to battling.. Hehe~ They were completely different people. Li Cai and the rest kneeled to Cross and Long Chen shouting "Lord Third! Lord Fifth! You are better than our parents! This Li Cai will never forget!"

Cross kicked him and said "Tomorrow is the end of the month! If you don't occupy 36 of the 50 top spots, don't tell anyone I taught you. I don't want to be embarrassed by you!" Long Chen nodded and added "If you can't make the list... Basically, go jump off a cliff and kill yourself. Just don't tell anyone in the underworld we taught you, after I die won't they laugh at me?"

The disciples shouted "YES! LORD THIRD AND LORD FIFTH!" Long Chen and Cross grinned and said "Tonight, we celebrate." the disciples cheered and Cross knocked them all out, throwing them into the last of the medicinal bath and speeding up the time inside as he started cooking.

Long Chen sat down and smiled sadly, Cross looked over and threw a wine gourd over saying "You look like a guy with a story. Even after a year I still don't know it." Long Chen caught the wine gourd and said "You want to hear my story? Are we sharing now?"

Cross turned back to the sizzling meat before saying gently "If you want to." Long Chen paused for a moment before drinking from the gourd as he said "You know, I used to be a cripple..." he started telling his life story, while Cross cooked silently.

Time passed as Long Chen spoke, maybe he was getting drunk or Cross was just a good friend/brother but Long Chen told Cross everything. Cross went through a myriad of emotions, happiness, laughter, sadness, helplessness, and extreme anger. Long Chen finished "Then I was brought here."

Cross said "Do you regret not being strong enough?" Long Chen looked up to the sky and sighed "Yeah... If I was strong enough, nobody would have had to die. Yu Qingxuan, Li Tianxuan, Qu Jianying, Wu Guangyun, the 3000 brothers in my Dragon Blood Legion... I could've saved them all."

Long Chen looked extremely depressed and Cross said "Do you think they would be happy seeing you like this?" Long Che was silent before shaking his head. Cross looked at the meat and said "I actually don't know who my parents are. I woke up one day 10 years old, on the streets in the Lowest realm imaginable..."

He started to tell his own story, not hiding anything from Long Chen. He finished with "Really ever since the accident with my wife, I stopped being low key. All it got me was almost losing one of the most important people in my life. Now I just do whatever I want, maybe I'm too arrogant or cruel, but if it'll save my family, even if I have to kill an entire realm of people with my bare hands I will do it."

He looked at Long Chen and shook his head saying "I don't know how you could be so calm. I would have destroyed everyone I saw if that happened to me. You're better than me in this aspect." Long Chen smirked and said "Only in this?" Cross sneered and said "Easy. Have you seen my handsome face? What are you thinking about? Even in bed, can you compare?" he snorted and Long Chen laughed.

The time bubble popped and the disciples started waking up before climbing out of the black bath water and saying "Wah! So powerful!?" Cross chuckled and said "Eat quickly, then we'll have a last training session, you go to sleep and then tomorrow you perform." the disciples ate quickly and drank the wine mixed with blood.

Cross smiled and said "Wanna join me this time?" Long Chen grinned and stood up, patting the dust off his robes before cracking his knuckles. Cross looked at the group and said "Now we just have to beat the medicine into you!" the disciples paled and Long Chen and Cross lunged into the ground, beating each of them very carefully, stimulating the medicinal effects to their max potential.

They finished and the disciples were unconscious again. Cross made a time bubble around them and said "They'll probably sleep for a few days." Long Chen chuckled and said "When we go back do you think the school will be shocked?" Cross laughed and said "I think Yunyang will get a heart attack from shock." Long Chen burst out laughing and Cross smiled.

The next day

Cross and Long Chen came to the Hall, behind him were the disciples wearing baggy clothes with depressed expressions. Everyone was here looking at the group, Zhong Ling gasped and said "What happened to them?!" Mingze sneered "Are you-" Long Chen said "Shut you mouth before you spit shit on me."

Cross laughed and Mingze trembled in rage, he opened his mouth and pointed, but Cross gave him a tight slap, sending him rolling away as he said "Oi, shit for brains, are you deaf too? My brother said to shut up." everyone sucked a cold breath of air and Long Chen said "Li Cai, go beat Zhong Chengshang into a dog for me."

Li Cai blurred to the arena before shouting in a booming voice "Gigolo! Get out here for me! Lord Third told me to beat you into a dog!" the audience went into an uproar! So arrogant?! The arena went up and walls sprouted around it.

Cross and Long Chen went to the Teacher's seats and Cross said lazily "Li Cai, if you don't beat him in a single move, forget about looking in my direction in the future." Li Cai trembled and his aura became extremely fierce and cruel, the audience was shocked and Zhong Chengshang sneered as he landed on the arena "What a joke. This waste beating me in on-" Li Cai sprang from the ground and shot towards Chengshang like a bullet, swinging out his broadsword right at Zhong Chengshang's neck.

There was no hesitation at all, as if killing someone else was easy as breathing for him. Nobody could react at all, it was too fast! Even Yunyang couldn't react, let alone the Gigolo who was mid sentence.

The broadsword was about to chop Zhong Chengshang's head right off, when it stopped, drawing a drop of blood from the gigolo's neck. The gigolo fell to the ground as white as a ghost and Li Cai said "You lost." Zhong Chengshang came back to reality and shouted "Impossible! I refuse!" as his aura started rising.

Cross said "Li Cai..." Li Cai swung the broadsword out, this time he wasn't going to stop at all. He was going to kill the gigolo for real now. Yunyang appeared on the stage and smiled as he held the broadsword and said "You won, Li Cai. Thank you for showing mercy."

Li Cai nodded and left the stage giving Long Chen and Cross a thumbs up. Cross rolled his eyes and yawned, while Long Chen was already snoring.

Cross shifted in his chair and got in a comfortable position, sitting on the chair sideways before falling asleep. Yunyang smiled helplessly at the two and said "Li Cai is number 3 on the Shinto List! The next from the Elite Group!

4th, 5th, 6th, ... all the way to 39th was changed to the elite group disciples. Yunyang was completely shocked, he even saw that they were all holding back! He had no doubts they could all get the 3rd spot easily, maybe Li Cai could occupy second or even first! They were all super mega geniuses now!

What kind of training could they have possibly gone through in a single month?!

Never in Yunyang's wildest dreams did he think that they went through a year of training, even the elites themselves didn't know that. If Yunyang knew this, it wouldn't even be a debate anymore. They could all fist for the 1st spot easily. What was a Chu Kuang to these killers? Nothing that's what!

Mingze shouted "I suspect Cross and Long Chen cheated! They must have! Check these disciples for forbidden drugs!" The elite disciples bared their teeth and a thick murderous intent drowned Mingze and the other teachers that were discrediting Long Chen and Cross.

Li Cai shouted "You full of shit clown! Come down here so daddy can beat you! How dare you insult Lord Third and Lord Fifth!? You do you think you are? Just because you're a worthless teacher doesn't mean everybody else is!"

Beanpole shouted "You waste dared to discredit Lord Fifth and Lord Third..." he clenched his fists and glared at Mingze and the other teachers as if they killed his parents. All the Elite disciples were enraged beyond belief, they looked like they were about to climb up to the teachers' seats and rip them apart!

Yunyang pursed his lips and looked at the sleeping duo, Cross specifically. Maybe Long Chen handled the training, but Cross was for sure in charge of the mental training.

Mingze and the rest were startled and shouted "How dare you insult a teacher!?" Beanpole took out a spear and said angrily "I dare to do anything! Your head will be on my spear if you spew shit from your mouth again, do you believe it?!" Li Cai took out his broadsword and the rest took out their weapons, ready to kill at a moments notice.

Yunyang smiled and said "Alright, Mingze, discrediting a teacher is a very serious offense. If you're used they used medicine, why don't you go check." he had a smile but his words were sharp, this guy.. He was finally angry with this Mingze guy.

Mingze turned green and said "I.. I believe they wouldn't do that..." the disciples put their weapons away and sneered at him. Yunyang smiled and said "Teacher Long, Teacher Cross, wake up. I hope you can share your methods, everyone is itching for an answer."

Cross and Long Chen were really asleep. It wasn't just for show, Cross had been working extra hard watching these elite disciples and Long Chen was getting stronger faster so he just fell asleep. Yunyang felt his mouth twitch, these two... they really feel asleep!
