Arthur and the Armament Haki-wrapped weapon clashed repeatedly with the drought, causing havoc on the ship's deck. The pirates aboard clung to wooden boards, terrified by the intense battle.
A year ago, Arthur would have struggled against this violent adversary. But with time, his strength and mastery of Armament Haki had grown significantly.
The drought's brutal attacks were met with Arthur's calculated defense and precise strikes. However, the ship couldn't withstand their power, and its structure began to collapse.
The drought's resilience allowed him to withstand Arthur's assaults, but he realized that Arthur was no weaker than him, even with his immense physical strength.
Despite the ship's limitations, the drought continued his relentless onslaught, relying on his Fruit abilities for close combat. However, Arthur found the repetitive battle frustrating as it didn't offer much improvement in his combat skills.
Realizing the futility of the situation, Arthur decided to end the confrontation by unleashing a powerful attack that blasted the ship's bow and sent him floating in the air.
Enraged, the drought leaped towards Arthur, who taunted him for his foolishness. Arthur then launched a devastating attack, the "Two hundred million volts, electromagnetic gun," aimed directly at the charging drought.
The lightning-fast projectile struck the drought with incredible force, creating a massive explosion that echoed through the sea.
Boom.
The scene shifts to the aftermath of the battle, where the drought lies unconscious in the sea after being knocked out by Arthur's devastating attack. Arthur, indifferent to the drought's fate, destroys the ship and departs without a second thought.
Meanwhile, the surviving pirates on the wreckage are in shock, realizing that their leader, the drought, has been defeated and thrown into the sea. They quickly send a distress call to their captain, Kaido, one of the fearsome Four Emperors in the New World.
On Kaido's island, amidst his revelry and drinking, the sudden call interrupts his mood. Initially angered, thinking it's an unwelcome interruption, he prepares to smash the phone bug. However, he hesitates when he learns it's about the drought.
As the message unfolds, revealing the drought's defeat and the urgent need for rescue, the atmosphere around Kaido becomes tense. The pirates around him fear his wrath, expecting a violent outburst.
Surprisingly, Kaido remains calm, though his expression shifts from joy to solemnity. He acknowledges the news of the drought's defeat and apparent death with a mix of resignation and acceptance, lamenting the loss of his subordinate Jack.
The mood in Kaido's vicinity shifts, as they process the news of their fallen comrade and the implications of facing such a formidable adversary as Arthur.
