Kaido learned that Jack the Drought had sunk to the sea floor, but he didn't react much. However, a ship quickly set sail to the accident area.
Meanwhile, Arthur had long departed in his own boat. He didn't concern himself with what happened after Kaido; finding his own path was more important to him, and he felt no shame in that.
Three days later, Arthur left Kaido's territory in a small boat.
Simultaneously, news spread that Jack the Drought of the Beasts Pirates, one of the three Calamities, had been defeated by a young man, causing ripples across the sea. Rumors about a suspected Logia Thunder Fruit user Goro Goro no Mi quickly circulated worldwide.
At the Marshal's Office of the Navy Headquarters:
"Garp, wake up! Don't sleep on the job!"
As Sengoku scolded Garp, who had dozed off, Garp suddenly jolted awake. "Ah! Haha, I must have nodded off. I should probably go back on vacation; I've been tired lately."
Garp chuckled, unperturbed by the presence of two Admirals and a Crane staff member in the room.
Sengoku shot Garp a stern look but resumed discussing the mysterious young man rumored to possess the Logia Thunder Fruit Goro Goro no Mi. He seemed more interested in whether the young man was affiliated with the Marines or not.
The Crane staff officer, though of lower rank like Garp, added information about the young man's appearance and the distinctive white boat he was seen driving, including a blueprint obtained from insider accounts.
Garp's surprise reaction caught Sengoku's attention. Garp then recalled seeing a similar boat three years ago in the East Blue Sea.
"This boat... I think I saw it three years back," Garp remarked, drawing everyone's focus to his revelation.
Garp responded to Lieutenant General Crane's inquiries, recalling the incident in the East Blue Sea where he saw the same boat.
He mentioned that there was a young boy and girl onboard, possibly from Sky Island, using Sky Island specialties to power the boat.
Sengoku and Lieutenant General Crane exchanged looks, realizing that Sky Island fell outside their jurisdiction and the World Government's influence.
Garp then remembered that the young boy on the boat was the king of Sky Island, adding another layer of complexity to the situation.
Sengoku's concern deepened; even if the boy was kind-hearted, it would be challenging for him to join the Marines due to Sky Island's independent status.
Smoker, with a cigar in his mouth, expressed his dissatisfaction with non-participating countries like Sky Island. He believed that joining the World Government could bring stability to the world.
Meanwhile, Marine was closely monitoring Arthur's actions, unaware that his encounter with Jack the Drought had attracted significant attention.
As Arthur sailed from Kaido's territory to the red-haired realm in the New World, he sensed a powerful presence nearby. A massive green slash tore through the sea toward him, indicating the approach of a formidable adversary.
