Somewhere far away, a Villain was causing quite the uproar. Known as "Hero Killer Stain", the Villain travelled from city to city, killing Heroes. One of the reasons why Iida was missing for the later part of the sports festival was because of Stain. Stain had attacked and seriously injured Iida's Hero brother Ingenium who was now at the hospital. This attack happened in Hosu, the place where 4 of the students of class 1A would be at their internships.
"Here are your internship offers. If you didn't get one, you can apply to a Hero agency," Aizawa informed.
"As expected," Ryoto said. "Yoroi Musha has really sent us an offer."
"Us," Momo asked Ryoto.
Trying to defuse the situation, Ryoto said, "us, as in one of the class's students. Is it not a boost in statistics when a top 10 Hero sends one of our classmate's an offer?"
"I guess it is," Momo said, thinking about how Shoto was offered an internship by Endeavor, Bakugo by Best Jeanist, Tokoyami by Hawks, and Ryoto by Yoroi Musha.
"Obviously, I got more offers from the Top 10. Ryukyu, Edgeshot, Jeanist, and Hawks sent me an offer as well. But none of them are swordsmen except for Musha. To become the strongest swordsman, I would need to fight the strongest swordsman."
Ryoto accepted Musha's offer and went to his agency near Hosu. It was a traditional Japanese estate that looked like it was built for the Shogun. It was very big and very functional. Most of Musha's sidekicks were dressed in Samurai-looking armour. It was a Thursday and Zoro waited outside of Musha's agency for his "caretaker".
Once he saw Miho dressed in a Kimono which was protected by pieces of armour all around it, Zoro thought that it was a joke.
"You never told me you were at Musha's agency," Zoro said.
The smartass that Miho was, she said, "you never asked, daddy issues. You also never asked if I had my provisional Hero license, which I do."
"I cannot fucking believe you. All this time, you've been holding back greater than Shoto did," Zoro asked, clearly mad.
"One does not need to go all out in the face of potential."
"Whatever, let me get settled and change into my Hero costume. I believe you've never seen it, right? And talking about costumes, yours fits you perfectly. The red and white Kimono that has swirly shapes on it, paired with the guards around your shoulders, chest, arms and probably on your legs under the Kimono greatly helps against surprise attacks."
"I would've slapped the shit out of you if not for me being a little famous around here. Well, whatever. Follow me, Musha is waiting. He also said that he had a surprise for you. Whatever that meant."
Entering the Hero agency of Number 10 Hero Yoroi Musha, he saw many sidekicks and non-Heroes who handled the paper business.
"Here is your room. There is also a Kimono for you in there you can wear once you start your in-door training," Miho said and waited outside the paper-doors of Ryoto's room.
Zoro went inside to put on his Hero costume. His ascension towards being the strongest started today. The Demonic Swordsman: Scar - starting at Yoroi Musha's Hero agency as an intern.
When he grabbed the sliding door's handle, the paper ripped open because of the innate Sharpness that Ryoto's body radiated. The gloves, which had tiny spikes on them, were sharpened and caused the door to be cut.
"Oh. My bad," Zoro said, stepping out of his room.
Seeing how Zoro was armed to his teeth, Miho was impressed. She understood that Ryoto had put a lot of planning into his costume design.
"Finally, two swords on my hip again. Fighting without swords is hell," Zoro said.
"Great offensive and defensive properties... Are those spring-blade gauntlets?"
"They are. Every inch of my body is armed, except for my head - I need people to see my face."
"Seeing how you are ready, I will bring you to Musha."
Passing the halls of Musha's agency, Zoro got weird looks. It was either from recognition from the sports festival, or the fact that Zoro's costume was way too Villainous.
A very wide door was clearly indicating that behind it was Musha's office. "Yoroi Musha Sir, I have brought Ryoto," Miho said, stepping aside for Ryoto to enter.
"Let him in," Musha answered, an old voice reaching Zoro's ears.
Zoro stepped in, taking in the atmosphere. There were many blades. From Katanas, to Tantos, all the way to Shotos. There were also the many costumes of Yoroi Musha. One for every occasion. One costume was more reinforced than the other, one was lighter than the other, and one was even equipped with many holsters for blades, just like the ones Ryoto's costume had.
"Thank you for inviting me, Sir," Zoro said, looking at the man clad in Samurai armour.
"There is something I need to tell you, Ryoto. Your mother... she was my daughter," Yoroi Musha revealed.
Zoro and Ryoto switched control immediately after that revelation. Ryoto understood immediately what Musha was saying.
"You are the one that has supported me after that incident with my father," Ryoto said, getting a nod from his poker-faced grandfather.
"I wish I could've come to meet you sooner, but I was sure once you made it into U.A, you would follow the same path as your father. He has the same Quirk as you - maybe not as strong - but he also came to me as an intern when he was at Shiketsu High. He was undoubtedly one of, if not, the strongest sidekicks I ever had. When he started working for me, he met your mother - another promising Hero who had just become a licensed Hero. There are some more details I don't wish to reveal, but let's just say that I did not bless their relationship. I never even knew of your existence until recently, when I was contacted after a background check was made so that the police could find any relatives. But you are not your father, you are better and stronger. It takes some real strength to not fight back."
'I saw that in your memories, Zoro. Your captain once said that some fights are not worth fighting, and as a result, you were beaten to a pulp, just like me.'
"I see. A letter would've been nice though, gramps. I thought hard about who might've 'sponsored' me, but it was coincidentally you. So, what is your Quirk, there is not one real source stating your Quirk's abilities," Ryoto asked.
"HAHAH! Straight to business, sure. But tell me one thing before that. Why come to me? Hawks and Edgeshot invited you, too, no?"
"To become the strongest swordsman, you will need to fight the strongest swordsman," Ryoto replied.
"Ancient Spirit - that's what you would see in the Hero commission's Quirk entry. Yet, no one really knows what it means and what it allows me to do. And I would want it to remain that way, so I'm going to give you a hint. If you understand what it means, you have the same kind of ability," Musha revealed. "The spirit, it..."
We know jcksht about Musha, but because he is the only real swordsman, he will need to play a role in this FF. If anything confuses you this chapter, just tell me, I will try to clarify.
