I was rudely woken up by a jolt of electricity the next day.
"What the hell? Is that how you wake someone up?" I shouted
"Get moving quickly twerp." The guard said, his voice a little muffled due to speaking through his mask.
I quickly washed my face and followed after him.
3 more guards appeared and followed closely behind me.
Soon I was outside a room labelled 'Training room 1'
The guard in the lead scanned his ID on the door and it opened with a click, I was left inside and the room looked exactly like the one I fought hawks in, in the center of the room was a man dressed in a black padded training suit, he had a black mask covering his face with two holes for eyes, though I could see his face clearly by sensing the air flow around his face with my quirk, a very delicate ability which requires a lot of control, it was hard to do it even for me and would be impossible if the target was moving.
The man's was a mess of scars, even if he didn't have a mask it would be difficult to see trace our his face, he had short black hair as I could see them pop out from above the mask.
I walked closer to me and the guards all left us alone in the room, it seems this man is strong if they trust me with him alone.
"So who are you?"
He stayed silent and rushed at me with a punch aimed at my gut.
I spin around to dodge it, making sure to make it look clumsy and narrowly avoided his punch and sent a ball of sharp metal scraps at him which he deflected by turning his arm to bricks.
'So that's his quirk.' I thought
It was a bad matchup for him to be against me as I had control over all types of matter and if he turns his body into brick, then I can control it easily and I did just that.
As he prepared his brick laden arm I controlled the brick in his arm and made him punch himself, he was surprised and didn't have time to disable his quirk so his hand hit him in the face cracking his mask.
It was a funny sight to see, a grown man aggressively punching his own face.
He quickly recovered and rushed at me, this time not using his quirk and only using it as he is about to hit me.
I let most of his blows land on me and only dodged some of them, I was already getting tired of acting but I had to pull through for the quirk training, something I really needed.
After about an hour of fighting he finally stopped and I looked at myself, bruised and battered, I subconsciously accelerated the rate at which my wounds healed and looked at him to see what he would do next.
"You are quite good for your age." he commented.
"And you are quite shitty for your age." I snorted
He just glared at me and left the room.
'That's it?' I thought disappointed, I was by no means a masochist but getting hurt more increased my pain tolerance and made my skin more resistant.
Soon another man came in the room, this one wasn't wearing a mask, he looked to be about 60 years old, he was escorted by a dozen guards.
"I am doctor Satoshi Nohara, an expert quirk specialist." I said nothing and he continued "I'm going to be in charge of your quirk training."
"Now let's start with control, try creating a perfect sphere with a radius of 2cm out of glass." he said
I did as he said making a sphere of glass with a radius of 2cm almost instantly.
"Excellent, now convert the central part of it to metal with a radius of 1cm."
I did as he said, splitting the circle into two spheres the inner smaller sphere made of iron while the outer one of glass.
"Wonderful, now interchange the glass with metal and cut the sphere into two hemispheres laterally and double one hemisphere and reduce the size of the other by half."
I did as he told converting the glass to iron and iron to glass and split them into two while doubling one of them and reducing the other to half.
"Excellent now make them both of the same size and join them back to create a sphere of radius 10cm and then multiply the sphere by 10."
He said and I did as told resulting in 10 spheres of radius 10cm each.
For the next 4 hours this idiot kept giving me such bullshit instructions which were so easy I could do them even in my sleep.
I had the urge to kill him halfway through but I held myself back in hope that the training will improve.
Soon after that they fed me with the same awful porridge and sent me to a different room, this one was a smaller room which looked like a classroom, it only had a board, a table and a chair in it, I sat down on the chair and waited.
After a few minutes a woman dressed in a black dress walked in with books under her arms, i quickly scanned them and it was some basic books on physics, maths, chemistry, biology and history.
"I'm going to be in-charge of your education." She said.
"First we will start with biology." And so she went on explaining about the cells and some other basic information someone my age would learn, I pretended to listen to her boring lecture.
After about 2 hours she was finally done with the four subjects and only history was left, I was secretly excited about it because except for history everything else was the same as my previous world but only the history of this world was different.
She explained to me the history of the Hero Public Safety Commission and I hungrily devoured this new information, most of it sounded like propaganda to encourage people to support the Commission but some were actual facts, she moved on to the history of quirks and some other things before the lecture was over.
I was escorted back to my room and I laid down on my stone slab aka bed.
'Such a disappointing training.' were my last thoughts as I slowly drifted to sleep.
