An unexpected union.
Lilian ensured the room's temperature was just right before tenderly kissing Aurora on the temple and quietly exiting the bedroom.
In the upper room, she found Allen waiting for her. "Where's Aiden?" she inquired.
"He went to his villa," Allen replied.
"I should visit him there one of these days," Lilian mused aloud.
Allen remained silent for a moment before asking, "Can we go to sleep now?"
"Yes, but I haven't seen the goods we ordered," Lilian noted.
"I've already taken them to the bedroom," Allen said, standing up and leading her to his room. As she stepped inside, she couldn't help but marvel at its magnificence.
"You can have the bed. I'll sleep on the sofa," Allen offered, ensuring that their daughter would only know they shared the same room, nothing more.
"Your clothes are in the closet, and there's a partition behind it where you can change," he added.
