A game of Vengeance

"Kill me, just kill me. Finish me. I am precious to him, and he will be hurt when I die. Just kill me!" he begged, unable to bear seeing his loved ones suffer. It felt like his heart was bleeding with pain. Taehyung laughed maniacally while Jimin stood still, staring at the manaic before him. No, not a maniac —a monster. "Just this, and you want to run? No, no,not that easily. Remember you can't die."

Mr. Park was sitting in his office, going through some files, when an office boy knocked on the door.

" Come in" he said

The office boy entered, holding a box. " Sir, someone left this downstairs for you" he said

" Put it here" Mr. Park instructed, pointing at the table.

The boy placed the box on the table and left, texting someone. " Done" he typed waiting for a reply. " Record his reaction and send it to me" came the response

Mr. Park eyes the package with curiosity and opened it. Inside was a letter that read.

" I AM SENDING A GIFT FOR YOU, AND I AM SURE YOU WILL LOVE IT"

He set the letter aside and opened another envelope inside the box. It contained photographs. As he examined them, cold sweat covered his forehead.

The photos were of Lee's, his eyes gouged out and face smeared with blood. The next picture revealed Lee's chest, gruesomely opened.

Mr. Park's hand trembled with fear. Feeling nauseous, he threw the photos onto the floor and glanced back at the box. He searched frantically for an address but found none.

In his panic, he threw the box to the floor, causing another envelope to fall out.

With trembling hands, he opened it. Another letter read " I KNOW YOU LOVED IT. SOON YOU WILL GET ANOTHER ONE"

There was a photograph inside. His eyes widened in shock as he looked at it.

" Jimin" he whispered his voice barely audible.

The photograph showed Jimin, his son, looking terrified, holding a heart in his hand.

Mr. Park grabbed the phone and called the reception desk. " Who delivered the parcel?" He demanded.

" It was a delivery boy, sir" came the reply

" Find out who sent it" he ordered urgently.

" Yes sir" the receptionist responded

Desperate, Mr. Park tried to call someone

" Pick up, damnit!" he shouted but the phone was out of reach.

Here's an improved version of your passage, tailored to fit the dark and violent themes of your novel:

It had been two days since the incident. Jimin was feeling a little better now. In this beautiful confinement, he would lie on his bed all day, staring blankly at the ceiling or sleeping due to the heavy sedation from his medications. Every evening, Taehyung would visit him, perhaps just to ensure he was still breathing, so he could inflict more torment—that's what Jimin thought.

Jimin would simply look at him and then close his eyes again. He didn't know why, but Taehyung didn't say or do anything. It was a relief, perhaps the calm before the storm.

Jimin was lying down, staring at the ceiling as usual, when the door opened. He knew it would either be Aunt Lily or Taehyung. The room filled with the scent of cologne and a chilling aura. Without even looking, he knew it was Taehyung.

Taehyung approached him and felt his forehead; the fever had subsided.

"How are you feeling?" he asked, his voice calm and cold.

Jimin didn't bother looking at him. Whenever he did, he was haunted by scenes from that day, and it felt like his breath was caught in his throat.

"I'm asking you something," Taehyung's voice now had a touch of fury.

Jimin looked at him and replied slowly, "I'm fine."

"Good, rest well," Taehyung said and left.

Jimin watched the strange man leave the room, a man whose mood changed faster than a chameleon.

After leaving the room, Taehyung went to his office, where Hoseok was already waiting for him.

He sat down in his chair, and Hoseok looked at him and said, "Park got the gift you sent. He's going crazy, trying every contact he has."

"What if..." Hoseok began, trying to voice his concern.

"No, don't worry. He will never involve the police. He knows better. If the police investigate, a lot of his evil deeds will come to light. He will never take that risk," Taehyung said with a twisted smile.

Hoseok nodded. Taehyung was right; a coward like Park would never take that risk. He was worrying needlessly.

Hoseok walked toward him and showed him a screen displaying Park's terrified reaction.

Taehyung laughed, the room echoing with his manic laughter. "Like father, like son. Now I understand why he's such a coward," he said, amused.

Taehyung then turned to Hoseok, a maniacal glint in his eyes.

"How's our guest in the basement doing? Is he getting the 'VIP' treatment?" he asked, his voice dripping with mockery.

"Yes, just as you ordered," Hoseok replied, trying to keep his voice steady.

"Good. Keep him comfortable... until Jimin is fully recovered," Taehyung said, his eyes blazing with a cruel, fiery determination.
