I opened my eyes in the body of the Fourth Kazekage and tasted ash on my tongue.
Sunagakure was already dead.
A starving skeleton buried under endless sandstorms. No food, no water, no future. Iwagakure ground our bones to dust. Kirigakure drained the last of our blood with ironclad extortion. Even the worthless villages of Grass and Rain had begun sharpening their knives for the carcass.
And watching it all with cold, amused eyes was the true predator:
Konoha.
A golden empire bloated with power, jinchuriki, and legends. One order from the Third Hokage and the Hidden Sand would vanish from the map like a footnote in history.
There was no glory left. No heroic last stand.
Only survival.
So I made a pact with the devil that called itself the Master Swindler System.
My weapon?
Not sand. Not gold. Not armies.
Lies.
I would poison the Leaf from the inside until it rotted and tore itself apart. Until its heroes turned on each other. Until the village that had spent decades crushing weaker nations finally choked on its own shadow.
The first rumors slid into the world like knives between ribs:
- Hiruzen Sarutobi, the revered Professor, stole the glory that belonged to Uchiha Kagami and buried the truth in a shallow grave.
- Sakumo Hatake, the White Fang, was driven to a coward’s suicide because the village elders feared his growing legend.
- The real reason Minato Namikaze died was far darker than any Nine-Tails rampage… and the proof is irrefutable.
- The Fourth Mizukage? Nothing more than a flesh puppet dancing on the strings of a Konoha Uchiha spy.
Every document, every forged suicide note, every leaked scroll was perfect. The system made sure of it. The ninja world swallowed the poison eagerly.
Konoha began to fracture.
Uchiha blood boiled in the streets.
Anbu shadows moved against their own Hokage.
Old alliances cracked. Old hatreds reignited.
And somewhere in the dunes, I sat in the Kazekage’s blood-red office, watching the reports roll in, hands already stained with the ink of nations’ downfall.
I did nothing wrong.
I did it to protect the Hidden Sand.
I did it so my children would not starve in the sand that swallowed their fathers.
In a world where the strong devour the weak without mercy, innocence is just another word for weakness.
This is not a comedy.
This is the story of a desperate kage who chose to burn the brightest village in the world to keep his own from freezing to death.
And when the flames finally reach the sky, I will still say the same thing:
“I, Rasa, am innocent.”
