I found it so boring that I couldn't even read the first arc, I'm saturated with these types of novels so I look for something with depth.

I was having the same thoughts as you. I read a few of those naruto fanfics, and some are pretty decent, but they were in no way close to KOG.

You should dabble a bit into Mao Ni. If the needlessly eloquent prose doesn't irk you (It doesn't irk me , I'm just saying...) then it should do the trick. The plot has great depth and the philosophies sometimes are so earthly and touching that i get chills. Happy reading!

I don't have patience to tolerate 200 chapters of drivel. I don't mind if the author starts slow but cramming the plot with needless conflicts gets under my skin....

you can read chapter 1,15,27,58,100,180 you can understand pretty much whole story then can start with 180 onwards

Its kind of special were translator of novel frankly states in it synopsis that it pretty much boring , man can you get such honest synopsis in today novels , its little unique which got me note down these important chapters as these was my first time coming across such situation as I started reading due to that synopsis in gt.

Have you ever wished to be struck by lightning to be given the most op eye ever? Well me either but it happened to our very cold and detached mc here who is a cultivating maniac. This is a great novel and it starts of kinda slow but the development gets faster and the story leaves you wanting more like an addict. *scratches body all over* you got anymore of them chapters ~(〇_ｏ)~

Characters are all bland and have no distinguishing characteristics. Everyone is arrogant and gets upset over the smallest things. Mc always wins. Every battle is a shouting match of moves "Three Finger Fisting!" and they all come down to one character's Cultivation level+Skill Level + Skill comprehnion vs. the others. No strategy or cleverness. Each are basically the same. Plot is just mc learning skills over and over and leveling up and fighting people that are pissed at him for no reason. Barely anything happens plot wise at least in the first 88 chapters. Very bad novel, reading it makes me feel like a bad person.

It's an ok novel, start is pretty usual with weak guy becoming OP, there are some interesting parts in the novel that take you by surprise. Most importantly NEED MASS RELEASE, RELEASE, RELEASE

Honestly, this is a great novel, and that is what I'm rating it as. It seems that recently QI has been going on a poaching spree and has taken several novels from gravity tales, namely reincarnation of the strongest sword good, the Lord's empire, the world online, godly model Creator and this novel. I don't know if gravity tales dropped them, or translators moved over to qidian, or even if the authors signed them over to QI, but I believe that the readers deserve an explanation.

That's a really great story, I'm reading it daily since a bit more than a year I think. In my opinion the story can be divided in several arc; some of them containing smaller, mini-arc; I don't recall any bad arc, all of them were pretty good with some of them really awesome. It also gave me the impression that the quality of both the writing of the story and the translation got better and better even though it was already good at the beginning. So I really recommend you this story if you are searching for a good action story with a smart MC, no harem (until now at least, don't how it will be in the future be it doesn't fit with the MC personality) and a nice op eye ^^
