Characters are all bland and have no distinguishing characteristics. Everyone is arrogant and gets upset over the smallest things. Mc always wins. Every battle is a shouting match of moves "Three Finger Fisting!" and they all come down to one character's Cultivation level+Skill Level + Skill comprehnion vs. the others. No strategy or cleverness. Each are basically the same. Plot is just mc learning skills over and over and leveling up and fighting people that are pissed at him for no reason. Barely anything happens plot wise at least in the first 88 chapters. Very bad novel, reading it makes me feel like a bad person.

It is not, the 13countries invasion arc is good, the pursuit of death arc is the best, and the new arc is good aswell.
Agreed. I read up to nearly 500 chapters and nothing seems to have changed. It is just the same scenario rinsed and repeated with different characters who are instantly forgettable.
in my honest opinion, there are more trash arcs than there are good. In fact, the good arcs only seem good because the other trashy ones makes them stand out.

Yep this novel is pretty bad I kept reading past where I should have stopped because the rating was good so I thought it might pick up, what a mistake that was. I have no idea why it is rated so highly, I'm pretty sure primary school kids write more 3d characters during creative writing lessons.
I don't see where all the bad reviews coming in from. Personally found it to probably be the best progression of MC and storyline compared to half the other novels released

its a chinese novel dude. a hundred chapter or more is considered few. Just think of the chinese novels with 1500+ chapters and still counting. So 100 chapters is considered few. the story might not even 'truly' start.
It is an acknowledged fact that first 180 chapters are very slow and you can read chapters 1,15,27,58,100,180 and understand pretty much the whole story and then start at ch 180 when it starts to get interesting
