Honestly, this is a great novel, and that is what I'm rating it as. It seems that recently QI has been going on a poaching spree and has taken several novels from gravity tales, namely reincarnation of the strongest sword good, the Lord's empire, the world online, godly model Creator and this novel. I don't know if gravity tales dropped them, or translators moved over to qidian, or even if the authors signed them over to QI, but I believe that the readers deserve an explanation.

LIKEIf you didn't know about the gravity takes scandal, it could be summarized like this: GGP was one of the pioneers of Chinese Webnovels with zhan long, and for a long time, the readers trusted him. Then qidian started sniffing around and there were rumours of Gravity tales being bought out by qidian. Qidian novels were being hit with cease (translating)-and-desist orders and several popular novels like chaotic sword god were stuck in limbo for months. When readers on reddit and novelupdates voiced terror concern, GGP promised that he had not sold out to qidian. Technically true, because qidian's parent company bought out GGP. Someone on reddit or NU forums saw a new filing in the parent company's taxes and legal stuff, so he (or she) read all 100 pg of legal papers. And so the public caught onto that son-of-a-bi+ch's lies. A lot of people were hurt not by the takeover, but by GGP's lies. As for your comment, qidian didn't steal anything, the original rights to the chinese novel was theirs, and after they bought Gravity tales, so is the translation. Dualhosting is just qidian's half-assed attempt to placate the backlash of the betrayal. It's been years and i still won't go to gravity. I read on aggregator sites just to spite them.
If you read enough Chinese novel, you should already know how most Chinese deals with their business competitors. Take any "xianxia company" for example, they would usually do things that are considered "illegal", "bad", or "unethical" to their competitors that can be "bailed" with a "sum" they can afford as long as the matter does not blow out of proportion (which kinda happen because of complaints), which is why they took a step back and give them a "dual hosting option" (like they were the one who translated all those previous novels). But here's the nasty thing, if RWX, GGP (yeah, GGP gave in) and other small translation sites did not complain, QI would not even give a fak. You know QI uploaded translated novels w/o the consent of the original translators (which a lot of crap reasons like they own the original novels, signed the author, published the original, etc..) What really happened here is a power play, while the side of RWX and other pioneering translators sites are the first to do the job, they were smaller in terms on manpower and money compared to QI and thus bullied to submission. If not for the fact that QI wanted to redeem "face" (you know how most Chinese businessmen loves face, its to the point or narcissism) and reputation, they won't even give an inch. Compared to when there was still no QI, small translating sites co-exists by translating different novels and helping each other by linking other sites. To contend against QI, you have reached the "Large Success Stage of Immortal Thick Face" to even stand a chance. That is how unhealthy the Chinese business do their competition.

I appreciate you wanting to help others, but you really can't spread it on Qidian's territory like this. It was just taken down a month ago, probably because Qidian finally noticed the clues in the comments all over the app/site. Maybe ask them to private message you on another site or something.

Yeah, but now there are literally two separate pay walls on this novel now. Even if you just wanted to read the "premium" chapters, it costs nearly 240 USD, not to mention the early access pay wall which costs an additional 4 - 20 USD depending on how many "extra" chapters you want.
nulltraverser:The move away from gravity takes was annoying but i think the releases are more regular now.
