What to expect: Lore, lots of lore. If you're not familiar with the minor houses of Dorne, Reach, and Stormlands, you will be after reading this novel. There will be a lot of politics involving these minor houses, which I think is awesome because it gives you a greater sense of how big the world is. About the MC: Just like in my other novel (read it), he's not an emotionless block of ice with zero real interpersonal relationships. He's colder than the other MC, but not yet to the point where you could diagnose him with psychopathy.

I feel like the secondary characters are left out a lot. There are a lot of them, but sometimes they disappear for a long time. Other than that, the story is very promising.

this is a really promising novel is he going to be alive all the way up to the usurper war it should be possible because he is a blood mage and melesandra was able to live up 400 years or is going to be a switch every generation hopefully not. he should be able to make valyrian steel you make so he should have all the things possible blood magic plus dragon fire.
