What to expect: Lore, lots of lore. If you're not familiar with the minor houses of Dorne, Reach, and Stormlands, you will be after reading this novel. There will be a lot of politics involving these minor houses, which I think is awesome because it gives you a greater sense of how big the world is. About the MC: Just like in my other novel (read it), he's not an emotionless block of ice with zero real interpersonal relationships. He's colder than the other MC, but not yet to the point where you could diagnose him with psychopathy.

honestly I like the writing style and the idea somewhat. I like that you had saera as a mother to two characters from pure valyrian leniage dating back to the freehold. though I have to wonder why not have them stay in essos especially with vermithor and silverwing they could have ruled the east and made something for themselves and then enter act with westeros gradually with each generation. as much as I like the story i think it would have been better if they had stayed in essos
