It's a child isekai story. Using the mc's age to make them very childish and immature. This is highly likely to lead to using stupidity for tension throughout the story. It's also really convoluted in the beginning, with nothing made clear or concise with a bunch of flowery language that doesn't add anything to the story at all, but rather detracts from The quality. It might turn out alright, but the Mc being so childish and unrelateable just feels like the author is trying too hard to make something unique, and it comes off as 8th grade syndrome levels of cringe instead. Even the mcs name is no good. Tldr: Trying too hard to be unique, and ends up as a cringe fest.

LIKEjuice world was right the world is on drugs. 1. first the beginning was not cryptic it actually makes a lot of sense if you read the original EPIC. 2. While the MC can be seen as childish he's more antisocial. 3. finally if you just don't like it you just don't like it like I understand that humans feel the need to comment on everything but you obviously did not read at least try to see me that you're just skinny which is highly likely.
I meant skimming it's 5:00 don't judge me
If required information is not provided it can be labeled confusing. Nothing in the synopsis says there is required reading to make sense of things. Furthermore, why not simply include the missing information where its needed? That seems to be the obvious answer.
His job as an author is to put out stories. EPIC, the title of the original work this story is sequelling, is clearly in the title. If you pick up a book in the bookstore and read it, only to be confused about the story because it is the second book of a series, it’s not the author’s fault that you didn’t know that. You just saw the title and cover, thought it was a potential good read, and chose it. If it was confusing, maybe a bit of research on your part would’ve done you some good instead of immediately jumping into the reviews to complain. 😂
No it isn't clearly isn't in the title. The word EPIC, alone means nothing, and certainly doesn't insinuate there is prior works that have knowledge the reader may need. Even Harry Potter books have a labeling to show which part of the series they are. We even have actually words for book and film series such as "trilogy". It's the failing of the author when such easy tonl disclose information isn't mentioned anywhere in its advertisement. I remember seeing posters for brisinger as a kid saying "Brisinger, The third book in inheritance cycle started by Eragon will release soon!" It's not the job of the reader to research if this is, or isn't part of a series. It's the job of the promoter, in this case, the author to ensure the audience is well informed of their works relience on another.
Wasn’t there NTR in the first book because the mc let Freya have s*x with another man even though he knew they were going to get together, or something along those lines? That’s NTR. I can’t remember the plot perfectly so I might be wrong.
Freya WANTED to get with the MC; it wasn't a guaranteed thing. Her relationship with Otaar preceded that, and once she and Vahn became a couple, she literally stopped sleeping with other men. If there was NTR, it was netori as Vahn was the one who took Freya from everyone else.
