I will say that the concept of the story is wonderful and the writer is doing well, but I find MC very submissive at the beginning of the story. He accepts everything without objection. He seems like a puppet that they give instructions to. But what really disappointed me was Damon and how he killed his mother, and then he comes back and tells the hero that he is sorry, and so on. This is nonsense, and MC is like an idiot after 16. A year gives him a scar and we are done. The writer did not leave room for the hero to know the true story, as no one knows how she really died. This is what disappointed me, even though the writer was very good.

This story is amazing. Despite the time jumps and the lack of some scenes that would have been nice to see, this story is easily one of my favorites so far. Keep going, good stories are hard to find these days.

I understand the criticisms and even support some of them. Still, the story is entertaining, immersive and realistic... In the sense that the main character is a HoTD character and not a modern SI. Anyway, I found it to be a good story, very varied with very well constructed scenes that really excite and sadden, that's why I really liked the story, I would give it 5 stars but I'm sorry, Rhaenys died, I won't say anything else about it.

The story has a few time jumps tht may seem odd but necessary to the overall enjoyment, while the MC is dull at first, as the story progress you can see his personality and inner struggle between Nature and upbringing. Finally not many like an "ambitionless" protagonist, specially on a GoT setting x however I disagree, is refreshing to see someone who's ambition doesn't revolve around the "I'll be the new conqueror" Kingdom building that we are used to see in this type of stories (so far as ch 64.) instead his ambition is about duty and family.
