Mc is a cuckhold and submissive with 3 bastard children with no ambitions. His wife wants the throne not him, he’s just going along and is fighting for the throne for his cucked children to sit on. The mc is not a self insert or reincarnated or transmigrated? (If you don’t remember the plot I consider it basically an original native character) Just a beta AU character that does little to change the story. If he’s not going to be special in any way besides forced plot armor might as well make the story timeline interesting, but the plot is basically the same. What’s the point of the character?

He definitely isn't a cuck. I'd recommend you google the meaning of than. but on the rest I agree. It ends exactly the same as canon, so I really don't see the point of this story. Any superficial changes the story makes from canon is immediately thrown out the window because of how rushed and contrived the last 20 or so chapters are. The whole dance itself was just a mess.
